I had stayed at the Bristol once before when it was under renovation and had been unimpressed. It has now been beautifully restored. You really feel like you are in XIX century Warsaw, but with all modern conveniences. It is well located next to the Presidential Palace, not far from the Old Town, and the staff and especially the concierge are great. I will stay there again

We only stayed one night at this lovely hotel, but the service was outstanding. The concierge was so helpful that he arranged a car for us, train tickets, directions, restaurant recommendations...and more. We had dinner in the 5 star restaurant and the service was impeccable, and the food was world class. When we returned from Krakow to retrieve our suitcase and fly to Paris, they remembered us and were again wonderful. We have already recommended this hotel to our friends and relatives.

We got an excellent price for this hotel. I understand this is quite common at low season and on some websites. The hotel was very nice. Whilst there was nothing to moan about in the room - it was very comfortable and clean - it wasn't as classy as you might have expected. Staff were very helpful. We didn't go for the breakfast option which is supposed to be excellent but a little pricey (25 quid per person per day). When we got there we were offered a discount on the breakfast and internet meaning it would only cost around 24 quid between us. I'd suggest not booking the breakfast in advance and hope you get this offer!

Bristol - re-opened in mid 90's by Mrs thatcher - it its 5-start splendour has not maintaind its glories. rooms are nice, gym/pool is adequate but things keep falling off: meeting lounge is just an emplty space with not furniture, business lounge was 'closed for February', my desk chair was wobbly and you need to rearange the room furniture to get at extra sockets. Haven't they heard of laptops needing to be plugged in? It is sitting in the most beautiful part of town and great for weekend break but not for a business trip.

Having always stayed with family while in Warsaw, for this visit a larger number of us arrived and decided to take up the stay three nights but pay for two offer at the Bristol. We were all pleased with this decision. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms and while the windows on the 6th floor are smaller than the more impressive ones on the other floors, the views were nevertheless not disappointing. The mattresses could have been harder but comfortable enough. The 11 meter pool was enjoyed by us each day - great if only a few of you are swimming. Sauna and steam room also provided some time to relax. Overall, the Bristol offfers great location for Old Town and the City centre and is near by to a classic 'Milk Bar' (Bar Mleczny) where you can indulge in typical Polish food at impressive prices.

We went for the exec upgrade and were given a tiny room with two beds pushed together. It was so small that you had to be careful when getting out of bed not to bang your face on the wall. The window was less than one metre square. The room and bathroom were incredibly dirty and the wash basin was positively unhygienic. Had to get the plumber in to clear the waste pipe. Found all this totally unacceptable and got "front of house manager" to visit the room. To manager seemed as shocked as we were and immediately upgraded us to a suite on another floor. She also gave us free breakfast for the duration of our stay. The upgraded room was much better, however to be honest the rooms are looking shabby and require renovation, which I am told is about to happen, most carpets are threadbare. The prices charged are too high for this level of accommodation. The five stars can only be awarded to the reception and catering staff.

We had two double rooms and found the hotel to meet our requirements completely. The hotel is located about 10 mins walk south of the old town and centrally located for most of Warsaw. The service throughout was very good, with good quality rooms and facilities. There is a full Gym, Sauna, Steam Room and Swimming Pool. We paid extra to use the Executive Lounge on 6th Floor which then included all breakfasts, refreshments throughout the day and wine etc from 6-8.00pm. This represented a considerable saving over using the normal hotel facilities All the staff spoke good English and we would happily return.
