First we were looking for days inn and they had changed the name and we drove around 20 mins or so trying to find the place! Total fail. First I thought the internet was free. Nope I was sadly mistaken. I never agreed to pay for it and it never even asked this is why I thought it was free. Blankets had burn holes so I had to buy my own. Room was filthy. They also messed up my reservations. It was over priced for the conditions. Never will stay again.

The first night was rough ~ a Saturday night, lots of partiers standing outside their rooms drinking....I was a little worried....but they seemed to move on and the rest of our five days/nights were great. The hotel could use some updating, but it was a great price. People were very very friendly. Breakfast could use some proteins - eggs, etc.

It is an older motel but the staff & the cleanliness of the rooms made it a good place to stay for a 2 1/2 star motel. The beach is just across the street. The area is older but a nice community. They have changed the name of the motel though & you won't find it by the name but the address.

We used this hotel for the night before and 4 nights after a cruse. The night before the cruse all was well. The 4 days after was ok till the last night when the room next to us had someone kicking the door, making threats/yelling/with gun. It took cops 10 mins to get there. After that I didn't feel safe. Ok back to the room, the beds are new and clean little on the hard side, full size. The rooms are in need of a makeover. The paint is cracking in the bathroom. The hair dryer was full of dust and dirt on the backside so we didn't use. It looked like no one had every done a good cleaning around the baseboards and crevices in the bathroom or sink area. The carpet in the room was patched. Breakfast was juice, milk, cereal, and muffins. There are grills and a nice area around pool but in order to cook you would have to supply charcoal, I don't know if they had grilling tools. Before the last night and the fight and I would have used the hotel again if ever in the area. Now I don't know. I'm not to found of the glass front rooms now as well. First of all the hotel was not att worth the money paid for the room. The other guests were the about the worst quality you could have. The room next to us had a couple that seemed to be on drugs and another drug dealer living upstairs, along with rude college kids. All night my husband and I heard doors slamming, thumping noises, and people talking […] or yelling. The cleaniness of the room was ok but could be ALOT better. The room itself was shabby. It had outdated decor cera 1990's, carpeting that did not even come all the way to the door and was need in being changed. The phone and refrigator in the room didn't even work. The neighborhood surrounding the hotel was also on the shady side. The only positive thing about the hotel was that the staff was nice. However, when its the late night hours and you're trying to sleep and all you hear is doors slamming and people yelling that does not cut it for being a place to even spend one second thinking about staying at. Very old beat up furniture. Needs better cleaning...however, beds were comfy and clean sheets. We were in a non smoking room, however we could still smell cigarettes. OK for the money - you get what you pay for. There is some updating that needs to be done. Everything was pretty much from the 80's. The staff was amazing. The room was clean but showing its age. However, the price was very good for what it was. Staff was accommodating and cordial. Breakfast left a lot to be desired with very few choices. We found the lack of a table in out room to be a bit troublesome but used the ironing board as a make shift replacement.

First off, the hotel had changed names (to America's Best Value) between the time I made the reservation (2-12) and the time I arrived (2-15), so finding the place was a nightmare. Also changed was the smoking policy. I'd booked a smoking room and understood that the penalty might mean a second-floor room; but when I had lugged my bags up to the second […] floor, I found a no-smoking sign. And those no-smoking signs ran across the entire second floor. Second, the room card-key rarely worked. On the second day, it failed entirely and had to be rebooted (or whatever they do to it). The microwave was close to impossible to operate, and the refrigerator had no tiny freezer section. The bed was okay, but the pillows seemed to be made of weak jello--once your head was on them (THREE!), they sank to the level of the bed. My do-not-disturb sign meant nothing, because, as the maid told me, the wind that hit that side of the hotel blew them off. Furniture and rug were seedy at best. I stay here for location only. It's 2 minutes from my Girlfriend's parents house, so we stay here every time we visit them. The hotel itself is pretty dumpy, but you get what you pay for. This hotel is simply OK. Not good, not bad, but OK. If you are looking for one night stay and they will have normal price of stay, than try it. Staff was very nice - we overslept breakfast but the manager of the hotel let us to eat some corn flakes with milk, donuts plus gave us extra banana cackes on the way :-)

The day manager was very friendly and engaged. We got a room in the farthest building away from the entrance. That's where most of the cars were parked, leading me to believe that was where the intranet customers stayed. Rooms badly in need of renovation. Carpets not clean. On arrival, check in was fast and friendly. My wife discovered the sheets were not changed. Front desk promptly brought down a key to another room. The replacement room smelt like a wet dog. Check out was friendly. I could not recommend it.
