The Corus was a good value for the money - especially after walking into some of the other private hotels in the area....the room was clean and spacious by European standards. The towels were a little worn as was the carpet and the upholstered furniture - but the bed had crisp linens and the bath was very clean. With little time spent in the room, I would consider staying there again for the price.

The first double room that we were shown to was very disappointing! Small, bed only left a small space to walk into the room. Four cushions piled on floor next to wardrobe! Windows high up, no view and they did not open. Suspicious black flecks on sheets. We told reception that we were definately not satisfied and fifteen minutes later were shown to […] a very nice spacious double room which we were happy to take (why weren't we shown to this one initially since it was available, why try to palm us off with a sub-standard one?). We stayed a total of 3 nights. This is a nice hotel with polite staff but unfortunately being polite did not help us with a simple problem we had with the bed in our room. Our problem was that the mattress was lopsided due to a wheel missing on the base of the mattress, when we complained about it in the morning we were told that the hotel is fully […] booked so they do not have another room for us but they will send housekeeping. We arrived late that night to the room to find that nothing had changed and when we complained again the following morning we received the same response that they will send housekeeping. The room was a little cramped, the double bed seemed small, and there was some outside noise from the air handling unit below the bedroom that meant we had to keep the window closed at night. I don't think we had the best room and there are better ones! However, this was outweighed by a generally very good hotel in a very convenient location for N London. […] Braekfast and food was v good. The best bit was that the staff were exceptionally polite and helpful and the service was excellent. 昨年初めて利用し、朝食が気に入ったので、今回は2度目で5連泊しました。 到着初日の部屋は2室を室内ドアで仕切ったうちの1室で、室内ドアは施錠されているのですが、テレビや生活音が丸聞こえで、こちらも気を使う旨をレセプションにに伝え、2日目以降部屋を変えてもらいました。 2日目以降の部屋は静かで快適に過ごすことが出来ました。古い建物ということもあり、廊下等の軋む音は聞こえてきますが…。 私が大変気に入っているのは朝食です。 イングリッシュブレックファーストやコンチネンタル、その他のメニューも選択自由で注文後調理してくれます。その他にもフルーツなどはビュッフェテーブルにあり、朝から大満足です。 ダイニングルームでもルームサービスでも無料です。 この価格のホテルにしては、かなりいいホテルだと思い […] ます。 ホテルとBBの間のような感じなので、イギリスへ行かれたことの無い方には、イギリス感が満載なのでオススメします。 Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Charming and comfortable"
We were just staying one night, and got pleasantly surprised. Sort of expected a bit worn out old hotel, but the redecoration was nice, classy finish, clean and relatively spacious rooms. Wonderful atmosphere, charming check-in, and "personal" driver instead of taxi when we were leaving. We wanted an easy meal, also for the younger family members, so […] the a la carte meny was a bit "over the top" for us. Since there were almost no people inthe restaurant, we would have been extra pleased if we could order from the snack-menu, and still eat in the restaurant. Now we sat in the bar, with small and low tables, ok food, but not perfect dinner arrangements. The location of the hotel don't make it easy to go outside to find a restaurant. Breakfast buffet was excellente, and there was no extra charge for ordering from the breakfast menu. The hotel is just off the M1 if you are coming from the north. Easy to find, free car parking. The tube is a good 20 minute walk, we took a taxi back,it cost 6 pounds. Petit hôtel un peu éloigné du centre de Londres dans un quartier calme. Il faut compter une heure pour se rendre au centre en transport en commun (bus et tube). La chambre double est petite et le personnel pas toujours souriant, et si on les croise dans l'enceinte de l'hôtel, ils ne font même pas des efforts pour vous saluer ou au moins un petit sourire. Flott hotell med komfortable rom og utmerket service :) Hotellet ligger ca. 40 min fra sentrale London, men buss-stopp like utenfor hotellet med stopp ved undergrunnsbanen Golders Green. Man kan også gå til nærmeste undergrunn, Hendon Central, ca. 15 min. Med undergunnsbanen tar det ca. 10 min til Camden. Hôtel très class, avec parking (+++ à Londres !!). Un breakfast excellent et varié et un service très agréable. Bon confort de la chambre.
