Chose this hotel for location and good price. The first room was not even cleaned up. We asked for a second room which smelled of urine in the bathroom and main area. They had tried to cover this up with cleaning supplies but it didnt work. The staff was not helpful at all and not friendly. This a great location near the bridge and presido if you are trying to stay out of the busy downtown area but there are countless hotels up and down lombard which im sure will provide better service and a cleaner room for the money.

My family and I enjoyed our stay. It was nice to have parking and not have to pay. The room was clean and had all the essentials you would want. I would prefer queen beds and not double beds. There were 4 of us and it is hard to share a double bed. Other than that, I would stay again.

This hotel was the worst. Their internet did NOT work in the room. The front door of the room didn't even close. There were holes in the floor. We asked to change rooms and were denied. The hotel staff were snooty, arrogant and downright rude. What a terrible time we had - do NOT stay at the DaysInn Lombard,

The hotel looks nice, however the room we stayed in had a few problems. The toilet seat was not bolted down, the spout in the tub was loose and the shower valve did not work properly. We also had the room facing Lombard which is a very busy street all night long. Bed was a little too soft. The good part was the owner was very sweet and apologetic about the room and offered another to stay in (which would have been great had we told him of the problems the first night we arrived). He did put it on the list to get repairs done.

If you don't care about mints on the pillow or fat easy chairs, this place is a score. Clean, well-maintained, quiet, secure off-street parking, great location, and pleasant, helpful staff, all for earth-bound rates.

The hotel is small and parking is tight, but we liked the location and the room was quite comfortable with a nice wide screen TV. Overall, very satisfied.

Very nice hotel in downtown San Francisco. It was a little hard to find because we missed the sign on the front but we got there around 6pm and there was plenty of parking. Our room was very nice and clean, I loved the nice TV and clean bathroom especially. Great location, very close to downtown; about a mile from the beach and the Crooked Lombard Street, and 2 miles from the Bridge. The owner was very nice and if we had any problems, he had them straightened out within seconds. Only problem is that the TVs are locked so that you can plug anything into them, such as an Xbox. Minor problem that we got around, but worth noting. I would recommend this place to everybody.

We were very pleased with our stay here. We arrived a an hour or two before check-in and they were able to accommodate us quite well. For the price that we paid, this was one of the best hotel experiences I have had. And there was free parking (which is huge in SF). The only downside is that it is a little bit away from most of the "sights" in SF, but there are lots of buses around.

This hotel could have been better. The bathroom was in need of repair as the area surrounding the shower was breaking off. We had five people in the room, two adults and three children and had to pay for an extra person. When I asked for a roll-away because the beds were only doubles, I was told there weren't any but I could have a mattress on the floor for an additional cost. What was the extra person fee for then? To top it off there was a roll-away at the bottom of the stairs all night long. Why we couldn't use that one I don't know. In the morning when we went to get the "continental" breakfast, we were given packaged danishes and the juice machine only gave out lightly colored water. Not the breakfast we were hoping for.

We read the bad reviews book took the chance and booked anyway. We were not disappointed in doing so! The hotel is located in a great location in SF, we had friendly staff and a clean room with all promised facility. Free parking was a huge benefit. We can surely recommend Days Inn Lombard.
