Beautiful hotel property but a room that was unprepared for guests. Upon first entering the room, lamps and overhead lights were already broken and not repaired. When using the internet, the cable that was provided was intermittent. When using the air conditioning system, it was sporadic and unreliable (hot days, frigid nights). Whether the television […] was used or not, it kept turning itself on every five-to-thrty minutes - 24 hours a day - for the entire three day stay. Access to the beach was great and it's private! There were great activities such as diving and snorkeling offered at the beach. My kids could watch turtles. They liked diving so much that they did it twice. Free rental of towels at the pool and the beach was very convenient. I'll stay at this hotel again.

Room and facilities were superb. Only two minor issues. Check in time was 2pm, and when we showed up at 5pm, we had to wait for them to make sure the room was ready. Second we nearly missed the breakfast we had paid for because the hours weren't listed anywhere and the front desk gave us the wrong hours when I called.

This is one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever slept in. The room was much more modern than most Guam hotels, and the bathroom was spacious and very nice - having a stand up shower and tub/shower as well. My only complaints are that we had a non-smoking room, and it smelled like smoke the second we walked in, and also that there were cigarette […] ashes in the bathroom sink. I'm not sure if it was related to the cigarettes, or if someone put them down the sink, but our bathroom sink would barely drain all weekend. The hotel staff, especially Randy (Customer Service Manager) and Jessica (Housekeeping) were very friendly, helpful, and made us feel comfortable and welcome! We also enjoyed the shows at the hotel, the pools, beach, and kayak (and lots of other beach fun stuff) rentals. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We had a nice, flat screen TV […] and balcony with nice view of the beach. Our only complaints are 1) that we had put in a request for the fan in the bathroom to be fixed. Apparently it was not working and the steam from shower permeated the entire bathroom and made it very humid. Most all hotels have a bathroom fan, so we were surprised to see this detail inoperable/unavailable at this hotel, or at least not working in our bathroom. 2) In addition, there was no microwave nor refrigerator in our room; however, there was a beverage cooler. The beverage cooler was okay; however, considering the caliber and price of the hotel (I've stayed in less expensive hotels whose rooms include a small refrigerator and microwave) we feel these appliances should have been available. Other than that, we were happy with the hotel. The location and area surrounding the hotel were great, they had security guards, which made us feel safe, and the parking garage was lighted well and made us feel safe. Read more

I had to request to get a cart to bring all of my items from my car up to my room. It was somewhat less than stellar since it should be common for the valet to ask that. Strike 1 on customer service and first impressions. Later that night, you could here kids, around midnight, screaming on the first level.It sounded like a party.The room is not as well insulated as I thought since you could hear it. Oh well, I can handle it for now. Another main complaint is for anybody who uses modern technology, such as an iPhone or smartphone, iPad or tablet: no Wi-Fi is available in your room. Overall, the hotel is very classy and relaxing. It is not the best I have been to but it is still very nice for Guam. The room was well proportioned with a roomy bathroom. The bed was comfortable. The wait for the elevators was short if one was not available. The hotel grounds were clean and neat. Pool was clean. The hotel buffet was a bit spendy for what you got. But, the service was prompt and friendly.

Stayed at the Westin for 2 nights in the middle of the week. It's a little pricier than some of the hotels on the Island, but the extras are worth it. The heavenly bed is amazing, 5 pillows and sooo comfy! We had a standard room, so only one super high walled tub/shower combo, but with two shower heads and a separate sprayer. Recommend you get an extra […] key if you want to keep the room cooling when you leave as you'll need a key card for power and it's HUMID. A nice balcony in each room (with no furniture, we dragged the room chairs outside) and all of the rooms have at least a partial ocean view. It was lovely and we watched the sun rise in the morning while we enjoyed our delicious (and pretty affordable!) room-service breakfast. The food options in the hotel are okay, though not fabulous. With the exception of Taste, the buffet on the ground floor. AMAZING, and totally worth it. It's a different theme every night, we went on Tuesday and had ribs of all different kinds. Plus a salad bar, a dessert bar and a nice selection of sushi, noodles and rice. Like everything in Guam, the hotel mostly caters to Japanese tourists, so there are always traditional Japanese options. The Mandara Spa is lovely and we got excellent service, ask what the specials are. 2 of their "house special" massages for 80 minutes was much cheaper than we would have paid in California and came with a lovely gift package. The foot ritual was fantastic! We spent nights on the beach; it is lovely secluded and private with beach chairs and umbrellas to shelter you from Sun and the occasional shower. Powder soft sand and a great beach side pool, with a small pavilion where traditional music and dancers play in the evenings. Don't get beer at the bar, just run across the street to the ABC store and buy a six pack, ice it up and enjoy. All in all, absolutely no complaints! We will likely return to Guam later this year, and we will stay at the Westin again! Read more

We stayed at the Western Resort and once we had fixed a problem with our booking we went to our room. The room was great. Bed and range of pillows were very comfortable. There was plenty of space in the room with a balcony which gave us good views of the ocean. It appeared to us that all rooms had a balcony and the shape of the Hotel maximised views […] of the ocean. Room was air conditioned - which is a must for Guam. Hot all year round. Well appointed bath room, good range of TV shows we could understand (CNN, ABC, BBC, Australian TV) and movies. Breakfast in "Taste" was very well organised and food was very good. We ate twice at the Italian Restaurant "Prego" which was a good eating experience - food was great as was the service. Only issue for us was the Tour Booking office which did not cater for English speaking tourist well (if at all). This is somewhat understandable as Japanese tourist make up about 80% of all tourist but it is an American Territory and English is the international language. The Westin is close to most major shoppping centres and a shuttle bus to the other Premium shops in Guam departed form outside the Westin. A good experience and we will go back to Guam in the future. 大人４人、子供３人（未学児）で利用しました。グアム３回目で初の利用でしたが、ホテルも清潔で快適に過ごせました。ロイヤルビーチクラブの利用で、朝食もいただけ、夕方はラウンジでくつろげました。ビーチもすぐ裏で、 プールとの行き来もできますので、子供連れには大変便利でした。DFSなどにも近く、気軽に買い物にも行けて大変便利です。レンタカーをしていのですが、駐車場も完備されており、駐車しやすいです。周囲に色々と揃っていますので、マイクロネシアモール、Kマートや島内観光以外ではあまり利用しませんでしたが・・・。

目の前のきれいなビーチの混雑もなく、DFSにも徒歩圏内、比較的大きなABCストア、人気のイタリアン・カプリチョーザも目の前。またグァムに来たら、ウェスティンに宿泊します。ドライヤーの不具合もすぐ調整に来てくれ、完璧とはいかないまでも十分楽しめました。ホテルロビーのツアーデスクは、団体用で、現金でなら予約だけしますと言われました。それでオプショナルツアーはコンシェルジュに頼みました。

ホテルにはプールにジャグジー、目の前に広がる海。７時PM位まで泳げて子供たちは満足。毎日泳ぎました。残念なことに、ハウスキーピングが初日は朝に来てくれましたが毎日来てくれなくて困りました。せめてタオル類の交換、アメニティーの補充はしてもらいたい。ハウスキーパーに聞いたら毎日来ますとは言ってたのですが・・・・？？電話には日本語ラインがあるけれど全然つながらないし、つながっても日本語話し出すと少々お待ちくださいとか言われてあちこちに回されスパにまでまわされました。なのでフロントに毎回行って英語で話した方が早かったです。以前は部屋にホテルの案内があったと思うのですが、あればいちいち聞かなくても済んだと思います。夜は子供が疲れるのでホテル内で食事することに。テイストは毎回メニューが違って楽しめました […] ！シーフードは最高においしい。お肉はダメ。でもまたウェスティンに泊まると思います。 Read more
