"Good Hotel for Price"
Decent place for the cost and location. Really doesn't look very nice on the outside, in a very run down building, but the inside of the hotel was very nice and clean. Very nice rooms. Standard hotel breakfast. Would stay again if needed.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Convenient and Clean"
The location is easy to get to from I-70 and in an area that makes it easy to walk to restaurants, shops, and sporting events. It was very clean and comfortable. The parking lot is small so you won't want to move your car when you find a spot. Order from Marco's Pizzaria, delivery was quick to the room and the pizza was delicious!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great place to stay in Indy!"
Very helpful and friendly staff and great place to stay in downtown Indy!!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Old and dirty looking"
The tub was clogged, the elevator was tiny and the room was very dark. This is my only experience in a La Quinta hotel. So hopefully other ones aren't like this one.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The female receptionist kept disappearing for more than 10 minutes at a time. It happened on both days.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Service- Poor Condition"
A couple things. The temperature in the room was too hot. Even with the fan on full blast and the temperature on 60 degrees, it was still muggy. As for the cleanliness of the room, it could have been better. I found a toothpick on the floor, and stains on the sheets. The front desk clerks were all very nice, though.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Pretty Good Hotel"
Nothing too great but the breakfast and rooms were nice enough. The street was close so the rooms get a little noisy. The best thing about this hotel was that I forgot my suit in the closet and they are shipping it back to me. Great customer service.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Best Location for Great Rate"
The hotel was perfect location for the Pacers game (half a block from the stadium) and located right by a lot of bars and restaurants to attend after the game. We walked to the game walked back afterwards then walked over to the bars. All that combined took a total of 10 minutes tops. Other than the elevator being big enough to 2 people max. I would […] have no complaints about the room or the look of the hotel. It's actually a lot nicer inside than it looks on the outside. The breakfast area was well kept and very nice compared to what you would think you were getting. I will definitely stay here again when visiting Indy. "Great hotel for a business trip"
Very friendly reception and hospitality. They returned my forgotten mobile phone.Genuine Expedia guest review
Great location for the price, was able to walk to Lucas Oil Stadium for the Sweet Sixteen and while the hotel isn't very clean or nice, it is cheap and for just a night's stay was exactly what we needed.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"NOT VERY HAPPY WITH STAY"
We arrived at ABOUT 9;30 AT NIGHT AND THE ROOM WE WERE GIVEN HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED...AT ALL. OBVIOUSLY, A MISTAKE ON THE PART OF THE DESK PERSON, BUT IT DID NOT SEEM TO BE A BIG DEAL. THEN THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE BATH TUB AND A BACKED UP DRAIN--MADE IT DIFFICULT TO TAKE A SHOWER! WOULD NOT COME BACK --AT LEAST NOT TO THIS LOCATION.Genuine Expedia guest review
It is located near the downtown relatively, fee is not so expensive. The room is very clean.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Booked a room with two double beds. Did not check in until late at night after our event at the stadium was over. Turns out they gave away our room and gave us a single bed. Customer service was horrible. They were very beligerant. Would not stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"bad card machine"
It is ok. But the card machine in the hotel is not well.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good staff - no wifi"
Breakfast okay but plain. Coffee and juice always on. Fresh paint throughout but rooms dimly lit. Free parking a plus. The staff was very pleasant.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"close to convention center"
just okGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"close to romantic restaurant"
Rooms outstanding. Parking was atrocious in that the parking structure looked a little unsafe at night. Unable to find luggage carrier and there was no bell service. Hotel should have non-skid element in shower/ bathtub for older guests. A fall could be tragic.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good hotel, good location and good price"
close to city center, clean and comfortable rooms, quite at night, good breakfast, and the price is very reasonableGenuine Expedia guest review
"Hotel amenities = A+"
The hotel staff was friendly and was more than willing to help!!! Great location to stay when attending conferences in Downtown Indy!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Good clean hotel, although not a great hotel but for a modest price it was pretty good. Room was small but clean, no problem with the service. The room was not well lighted. I don't mind going back to that hotel.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Very nice for the money"

Looks really sketchy, but the proximity to the city is hard to beat and the rooms were really good. Best bet for the money.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

A decent hotel, good service but needs an update. Overall its about what I expected based on reviews!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Would stay again"
The employees that worked on New Years Eve were extremely helpful, even with everything going on. Even though the outside of hotel looks old, the rooms and interior are much different. The location may be a little difficult to work around if you're not from Indianapolis, and very little parking is available in the enclosed lot. However, there is an […] open lot next door and you are still as close to downtown Indianapolis as most other hotels. I would stay again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel staff was excellent. This was our second stay and the room was clean and the staff was excellent. I love the free parking and the location to all the things we are doing downtown. We will stay here again the next time we are in Indy!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A little shady on the outside, but nice inside"
The exterior could use some updating; I thought I was about to sleep in a parking garage. The elevator was tiny, but everything else was nice. Staff was awesome. Room was clean, pretty modern, and comfortable. Right next to downtown (eg. circle center mall, sports arena, tons of night life, etc.)Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good economy hotel"
It was a nice hotel, clean and close to the wedding we were attending in downtown Indianapolis. The parking was a little tight, but it was covered, which made it nice since it was raining.Genuine Expedia guest review
Great staff, but the room smelled of smoke bad.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Comfortable for the price."
Hotel convenient, economical for the area.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to Stadium"
Hotel was clean and staff was very friendly. Was very happy with price and condition of hotel. Would definitely stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to Murat Theater"
We were looking for an overnight stay only as we were attending an event at the Murat and did not want to make the 2 1/2 hr drive back home that evening. We chose La Quinta because of its proximity to the theater and the parking was free. Compared to other hotels in the area, it was a good price considering there was no charge to park. The service was […] good. The desk clerk was friendly, helpful and informative. The room was clean however there was a musty smell in the room but much preferred over some of the heavy cover-up air fresheners that some hotels use to mask odor problems. A few of the light bulbs needed replacing but we put off making a request due to the shortness of our stay. There were no blankets on the bed or spares in the room, which made for a cool sleep because we turned the heat down to keep the noisy window unit for running constantly. The complementary breakfast was the standard offered in most modest hotels. We did not eat because these offerings aren't to our liking. However we got coffee which was unsatisfactorily weak. It appeared as if they tried to stretch the coffee by adding more water than it called for. For an overnight, we'd stay there again but inspect and note on arrival what needed fixing in the room for our comfort. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Best price in the area. Within walking distance of many locations. Rooms very clean & beds were extremely comfortable. Old, creaky elevator, but everything else was a good value.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The neighborhood was not all that great. The place was affordable. I stayed there for two nights, for the Monumental Marathon.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Up and Down"
The fire alarm (twice) going off in the middle of the night not good. The loud party next door was disturbing. Your having only one staff member makes for a difficult situation, especially in an emergence, false alarm or not..Genuine Expedia guest review
"Best Value for Downtown"
Chose this hotel because of its location to Lucas Oil Stadium. It is much less expensive than most of the other hotels downtown and for a one night stay we couldn't ask for more. The free breakfast was just ok, but most of the other expensive hotels in the area don't even offer that. The free parking is also great as we just walked to the game on S […] unday! "Good price, decent stay"
I spent only one night here and although it was fine for one night, I don't think I would have wanted to stay longer. My room was directly across an alley way from the Indianapolis Heliport and was quite noisy. That, and the trash being collected from the dumpster at 5:01 AM made for less than a good night's sleep. The hotel is on the outer edge of […] downtown Indianapolis, and while it's not a long walk to most things, it's a bit out of the way. Good rate, average room, below average location. We go to check in and they didnt have a room ready "come back in one hour". Go back 3 hours later...still not ready. After a complaint, bumped us up to a suite. We pulled back the sheets and there was hair all over the bed. We grabbed the maid in the hallway to bring us some Clean sheets. We change the bed. The bathroom had a hole in the wall with toilet […] paper shoved in it. Then there was a heliport right out our window. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Just a few blocks from shops and eateries"
Very clean and great service.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
About 3/4 mile from convention center, but right across the street from police station and county jail, and near Inaianapolis heliport, so was noisy.Room was cramped...and tub was chipped and drain rusty.Seemed to be a one man operation. We asked for additional towels, and were told we'd have to wait, since the desk clerk was busy. The toilet was stopped […] up and we asked for an attendant to come with a plunger...were told it would have to wait. (We used the toilet in the lobby). The carpet was wet near the window, due to the AC unit or a heavy rain...? We didn't know and didn't seek a remedy because we were leaving that day. Excellent use of parking at the hotel during our stay...a good value. Daily breakfast, waffles and buscucits and gravy and fruit, oranges, apples a plus!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"walking distance to my meeting"
I am 10 years Radisson maintenence personel, with the exception of p-tech filters, the room was very good. Free parking in downtown Indy is exceptional. breakfast was adaquate. Staff was courteous and helpful. Front desk overnight gentleman, best guest expierence for stay. Recommend good value for reasonable costGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Dont' let the outside scare you."
Don't let the outside scare you. The hotel lobby and rooms have been updated. The hotel staff was very friendly, our room was clean. The elevator looked very small so we took the stairs, not bad at all. It was a straight shot to downtown Indy. Walked to Victory Field, took maybe 20 minutes. The free breakfast buffett was the best I've ever eaten (they […] had a waffle maker!) and the parking was free. It turned out to be a really good stay. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Friendly staff. Building needs a serious remodel. Narrow halls, teeny elevators (3 people fit if they're friendly). Cabs were $5 from La Quinta to anywhere in the downtown area, so that was nice. Room was clean. Tub didn't drain during showers, but otherwise nothing gross happening.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great place to stay when you're going downtown."
Everyone at the front desk was helpful and curteous. The girl who was taking care of the morning breakfast was not very helpful or friendly. When someone asked her about waffles...she rolled her eyes and said I'm bringing some more out and then it took quite a long time before she did this. It seemed to me that she really didn't want to be there. Your […] hotel is very convenient and within walking distance of so many places downtown Indy. We walked to the State Museum, ate at Hard Rock Cafe and attended a concert at Bankers' Life Fieldhouse. And, your rates were reasonable. The only thing we found not quite A+ was the toilet was leaking even when we jiggled the handle, but we did inform the front desk to that fact. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"You get what you pay for"
This La Quinta is a budget option on the edge of downtown Indianapolis. The staff are VERY friendly and helpful -- I can't say enough about them. Beyond that, though, there is not much to recommend it. The street layout in the neighborhood is confusing. The hotel had a musty, mildewy smell. The elevator is tiny. The lower-level parking is downright […] scary. My door did not close behind me -- I had to pull on it, and not just lightly, to get it to latch. The free "breakfast" is absolutely minimal. And it's a good hike to the Convention Center, State Museum, or other downtown attractions. (Reasonably close to the basketball stadium, though.) The neighborhood is OK, but a couple blocks over, past the highway, and it starts to get sketchy. I would not recommend this to anyone travelling alone, and it's not too good if you're staying any length of time. But if you just need a place to crash for one night and need to save some bucks... well, I've stayed here twice and lived to tell about it, but I'm not planning to stay again if I can avoid it. When I arrived at 3:30pm to check in the lobby was full of other guest waiting to check in because there was no one behind the desk to check us in. The gentelman who had been there the longest finally called LaQuinta corporate office and told them that no one was at the desk and could the find someone to check us in. The event I was there to see started […] at 4:30pm and I was late getting there. Because of the lack of time I did not get to check out my room. I got back to the room at 11:45pm and dicovered that I had no towels and now shower curtain. I called the front desk telling them this and they said they would be right up. At 1:00am I finally fell asleep to tired to stay awake and wait on the front desk. The next morning I awoke a 7:30am thinking that my towels would be outside my door, nothing was there. So I called the front desk again request towels and show curtain. At 8:00am a guy showed up with the shower curtain, but no towels, no one told him we needed towels. He could not hang the shower curtain. At 9:00am another guy with some towels and the show curtain showed up he could hang the curtain. So finally we have towels and a shower curtain and could take a shower, but to my dismay the shower curtain was wet and stained, they must have taken it from someone else room.
