My husband and I wanted to get away for a night for our anniversary to have a nice quiet night away from the kids. We chose this hotel because of the jacuzzi tub in the room, which was great. But that was all I liked about the hotel. The remote didn't work, the bathroom wasn't very clean, the shower curtain was moldy, the one and only soda/water machine […] was not working, they were renovating most of the hotel, we could hear the washing machines going at 1230 at night, and there was constant noise/activity going on in the room above us late into the night and early in the morning. Would have slept better at home with the kids. Could not wait to leave the hotel in the morning especially when they started vacuuming in the halls before 9am. Staff in the morning was very pleasant and apologetic. Will never stay there again. Read more

It is hard to rate because the hotel was being renovated. Our room was nice and very clean, as was the rest of the hotel, although it was being plastered and painted. The outside isn't much to look at and there isn't much to do nearby. Perfect if you are visiting St Mike's college as it is literally right across the street. There was no comfort to think of. The room was not clean and had a heavy oder of chemicals especially to the bedding as if bad oder attempted to be covered with heavy over powering and unpleasant chemical. Price is too high for conditions.

We booked a king bed room, and were upgraded to a king bed loft with kitchenette, because we asked for a fridge and microwave at the front desk when we checked in. It was a great room! The pool and complimentary breakfast were great, too!

I liked the amneties included such as the breakfast (good selection including hard-boiled eggs and waffles) and the indoor pool as well as the playpen which we requested. The room was clean but could have used some renovation.For the price that we paid, I was satisfied.

I enjoyed the work-out room, even though quite basic. Refrigerator over worked and froze all our food. My son loved the pool. People friendly and helpful. Breakfast adequate. Coffee good. Be sure to ask for rooms away from the staircase. We lucked out by getting one far away. Great that the hotel has recently gone "smoke-free."

I had two experiences with the staff. We arrived around 11pm at night and I came to check in and no one was at the front desk and there was no bell to ring. I waited a few minutes then started looking around for someone. Finally I returned to the front desk and called the hotel's number and then an attendent, whom I had not noticed, was sitting in a […] darkened alcove in front of the main desk, got up and checked me in. I was particularly annoyed because he must of seen me come in and standing there but he didn't get up to help me. The next day I also had a problem with the wireless internet and the staff was friendly and helpful fixing the problem. So overall a mixed record. As far as the room goes, it was clean and spacious and the shower had nice water pressure but it was really noisy! Both from the room above us, the highway, and the heater. Luckily when the heater came on it was so loud it drowned out everything else. Read more

I was pleasantly surprised. The room was very comfortable with just the right feeling to make you at home. The loft bedroom was a nice surprise and very cozy. The service desk was very helpful and courteous to my teenage daughter when she phoned about how to connect with the Wi-Fi service.

I had booked a non-smoking room (paid in full in advance.) When we arrived they tried to put us in a smoking room telling us that was what we booked which was a lie. I confirmed with hotels.com that we had, in fact, booked a non-smoking room. The room was disgusting and unlivable. They had obviously given away our non-smoking room before we got there. […] We had to find another place to stay because there was no way we could sleep in that room. We've stayed here several times. It's easy to get everywhere in and around Burlington. Winooski, nearby, has a great center with great restaurants. The service at the hotel gets better each time. The rooms get a bit more dated each time, however. It needs updating, but it's still clean.

Filthy room, we switched rooms and the second room wasn't much better. We were gone most of the night so it didn't much matter. $14 cab fare to downtown Burlington and the staff was nice. Okay pool, okay continental breakfast.

This was the WORST hotel experience I have EVER had...rented Jacuzzi suite right above the lobby and was kept up all night by a bunch of truck drivers outside the lobby, yelling, drinking beer and smoking pot. It was a NIGHTMARE!! No one in the place seems to have any desire to keep their guests under contro!

The beds were very comfortable. The convenience of the entrance door and pulling up to unload was awkward. A tenant was allowed to grill food outside in the parking lot and to hang out by their vehicle until late. I didn't think that was very professional. The parking lot was very dark. I would suggest your housekeepers vacuum closer around the edges of the room and under the beds. You could see a 3 inch line all around the room and under the beds where the vacuum cleaner couldn't reach. This Days Inn is located in a convenient location... especially if you are planning on spending time in downtown Burlington like we did. Upon entering our room, it was very clean the the bathroom was decent. Beds provided us with a good nights rest! I have to admit, overall we were very happy and comfortable. On the flip side there are two things that […] I was disappointed in... when I asked the girl at the front desk if they had on site laundry she replied no and directed me down the road where I could do my own... the next day we found out there was on site laundry on the upstairs level... The other gripe I have is that there is NO place to recycle whatsoever... The little signs in the room asking guests to save the planet by not having linens or bath towels changed every day seems to me like a way for them to save money rather than saving the planet since there was not one recycling bin anywhere in the hotel. The hotel price was right for a family. We loved the indoor pool, the breakfast was excellent and the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel just needs some updating (new toilets, mattresses, carpet). It is perfect for a 1 to 2 night stay.
