Sheraton Columbia Town Center Hotel - Columbia

Nice place to stay. Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. Room was very clean. You get Starbucks coffee. Bed was great... makes you want to stay in the room. Bathroom was very clean and stocked up. No complaints at all!

Front desk was very pleasant and courteous. Did not get help with my luggage. Foyer area needs some form of soft music. Doors may need some painting. Despite all these, it was a pleasant stay.

what the price of the room the hotel is very very disappointing it was very very out of date with the furniture and um a much needed remodeling to the room. The stay was decent however I'm a little perplexed why front desk hotel staff would enter my room late in the afternoon hours after housekeeping had been there. I clearly surprised her and she apologized but then asked if I was checking out that day. I wasn't; I had booked for several days. I find it strange why this happened.

I brought a small dog with me. The facility was extremely well-set up to handle pets, in that there was a well-lit and safe area very close to the hotel where I could walk the dog, regardless of the time of day. Great service and wonderful room. Free Parking in a garage, Bar/restaurant open until 11 for a late dinner. Front desk staff were friendly. I left something in the room on check-out and it was sent Fed-Ex immediately. NO complaints.

Front desk was very nice and willing to let us check in by 12PM because there were rooms ready. Room was neat and bedding was clean. Bathroom was a little small and the toilet would not flush on the second day. We had two connecting rooms though, so it wasn't a big deal to use the alternate room's bathroom. I always stay here when going to a show at the Merriweather Post Pavillion as it's about a 10 minute walk away. The staff are always friendly and courteous and very helpful with finding nearby attractions. While there we drove to the mall (0.5 miles away) and had dinner at PF Changs and went to the movie theater. So nice to have so much to do nearby. […] The hotel is always clean and the rooms very spacious and comfortable. I did notice the smell of cleaning solutions which my husband is sensitive to but it was not too bad. I haven't tried the food here so can't comment on that but they do have a bar and room service. Things like the elevators being rather slow, and the fitness center is difficult to get to. Often when I go to hotels, I am disappointed by the power outlets available. But this was one of the worst I've seen - there was only 1 power outlet available in the room. We were almost ready to leave when we found a bug on our pillow~!~! We were about to capture it when it flew away. Then we pulled down the top sheets to inspect the entire bedding and it seemed ok-- but I couldn't help but think why is there a bug on the 3rd floor??

I booked my stay with a discount online company and got a really good rate. When I got to my room, it was far away from the main hotel and my room was in the basement. The smell was musty and my room was dirty. We were looking forward to a nice overnight stay and were dissapointed, mainly with the staffing. Check in personnel were very abrupt and not helpful, then the 3 AM fire alarm asking everyone to evacuate, which was the right thing to do, however the staff stood in the lobby looking around and not being helpful to guests. This is a large hotel for business travelers with banquet facilities, it is unconscionable that in-room WiFi would be an extra cost. The free lobby Wifi was so narrow that it didn't have a signal in the lobby bar. Even in budget minded hotels, WiFi is free.
