"perfect for temple bar nightlife"
Hotel was nice and clean. Rooms were a decent size for a European hotel. Good breakfast and nice bar / pub on site. Great location for going out in Temple Bar. Only complaint was that it was VERY LOUD at night so if you are a light sleeper, this is a no go. There is constant music, screaming, bar sounds because you are so close to the heart of Dublin […] nightlife. We didn't mind because we wanted to be that close, but it was loud on the weekend. "Great Hotel in the Heart of Temple Bar Area"
Loved my stay at the Blooms Hotel. Staff was great and friendly. I will stay at this hotel again. It was a little noisy outside at night but that is what is expected in this part of town.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Blooms great, Temple Bar..."
I stayed in the Blooms Hotel last week. The room was small but very clean. The hotel staff were kind and accommodating. Two small issues: there is some renovation happening on the outside, so it was best to keep the curtains closed. Not a big deal--not too noisy. But, then there was Arthur's Day. We were three stories up and the noise was so loud that […] we didn't get much sleep at all. Not the hotel's fault at all, but it made for an unpleasant night. Temple Bar is a bit noisy all the time, but this was really unbelievable. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice and Clean Hotel in Temple Bar District"
We very much enjoyed staying at the Blooms Hotel. The rooms are clean and presentable. The bar in the hotel had great food and spirits. The hotel was very easy to get to from the airport via the bus and in walking distance to all the sights. The staff was pleasant and knowledgeable. We would stay there again.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Budget hotel--emphasis on "budget""
If what you're looking for is a very cheap hotel without any frills, this hotel delivers. However if you're looking for something a bit nicer, you're not going to find it here. I stayed at the Blooms for two nights. I am happy that I did not have to pay too much for my stay, but I wish other reviews would have mentioned the state of the facilities. […] The building is just not very well taken care of; the hallway smelled weird, my room smelled weird, and everything in my room looked old and rundown, just a step above hostel accommodations. It wasn't dirty per se, but I did notice that the mascara I got on the pillowcase the first night was still on the pillowcase the next. It looked like someone had just tried to brush it off instead of changing the sheets entirely. That really grossed me out. The staff were friendly but definitely didn't bend over backward to help me. I wouldn't stay here again, but if you're more concerned with price than with cleanliness and building amenities/quality, then you'd probably be fine here. Also, the one indisputable fact is that it is very centrally located--right in Temple Bar. So if you're looking for proximity to the city center, that's a plus; I'd recommend looking elsewhere if you want a less touristy experience. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Our connecting flight had issues and we were stranded in a foreign airport and arrived a day late. The hotel would not change our reservation and charged us for the night we were not even in the countryGenuine Expedia guest review
"Happy with this pick"
The staff was great. We actually blew out the fuse several times, Frank was there every time with a smile on his face to fix the problem. Hotel was every quiet, except for early street noise and the weekend . But we knew there was a club downstairs . The staff at The Vat House was great, fun and had tones of great advice on local things to do.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great location, excellant value."
As this was mine and my Daughters first ever trip to Ireland we relied on advice from one of my friends as to where to stay. Blooms was EXACTLY what I had hoped for as it is a perfect location to explore Dublin. I was most impressed with the feeling of safety and that of being a welcome guest. I would highly recommend Blooms.Genuine Expedia guest review
We arrived early that morning and the staff worked to get us a room right away. they were amazingly helpful and cheerful. this hotel is right in the heart of Temple Bar, which makes it ideal for sightseeing, dining, and listening to music.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Blooms Hotel Dublin"
Good hotel for the money but the excellent thing about this hotel is it is central to most everything in Dublin. Located in Temple Bar region couple of blocks from the River Liffey, bus stops right outside and DART (transit train) about a 5 minute walk at Tara Street Station. Can get a little loud on the weekends so if your not into a party atmosphere […] might not be best for you but a Monday-Thursday is just fine. close to shopping on Gafton Street and just a very good location to base. Parking is a bit iffy if you rent a car. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Fantastic location-easy walk to many shops, restaurants and sites. Wifi only in lobby and bar-need to upgrade that to include the rooms. The beds were comfortable. Rooms are small and a little outdated, but overall it was a comfortable stay. The staff was outstanding. Polite, interested, and extremely helpful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Location, Location, Location"
The hotel itself is nothing fancy. It's the basics and was comfortable for the 2 nights I stayed. The key factor is location. If you want to be smack in the middle of all the pubs and night life this is the best hotel for that. But being in the middle of it all does mean you have to deal with all the noise. There is also no A/C so you will have to open […] the windows, take this in consideration if you go when it's hot. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"If you like to party, this is the place for you"
Be ready for club music and street partying late into the night, or should I say early in the morning. Ventilation is pretty much non-existent. Carpets look filthy, beds uncomfortable. We did have clean linens daily though. Wifi, only in the hotel lounge. Location is the big draw since it is in the heart of the famous Temple Bar District. More clubs […] and pubs around this area then one has time to visit. We were there for sight seeing and tours so the pubs were not a draw for us. We could get to our tour bus quickly though. I would not stay there again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Great location. Nice pub in the hotel. Staff was great. Room was very clean. Lobby very small - not much room to hang out.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Took the bus from the airport to city centre and a short walk to the hotel. Great location for our two nights stay in Dublin. Also close to city centre rental car agency. Also had a bill question we emailed them and it was replied to immediately. Great location and hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The location was great and the hotel bar was a lot of fun. The staff was helpful. Our shower drained very slow so we waded in each others dirty water. It was very noisy in the morning after the sun came up with screeching birds and empty kegs being loaded on a truck.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Affordable and great location"
Friendly and helpful staff, clean room, affordable for its locationGenuine Expedia guest review
The hotel is centrally located. Close to shops, restaurants, even the bus stop for the airport, which is right around the corner. Being centrally located, it tends to be noisy until the early morning hours. The rooms are very small, basic, the look is worn, the carpets are old and spotted.Genuine Expedia guest review
Everyone who worked there was very helpful and friendly. The room was hot though, and there is no air conditioning. The neighborhood is very happening, and the hotel is right in the center of it. Loved it!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good hotel centrally located"
Great location. We were there Tuesday-Friday so did not hear noise people talked about. It is close to Trinity College and the pubs so was perfect for us. Staff was great and we got in early so were able to check in at 11:00. So great after long flight from New York. Close to the river and historic spots in Central Dublin. Breakfast was bad though.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location, fun bar in the lobby, basic rooms"
The Blooms is a very well located hotel close to all the fun and nightlife in Temple Bar. The VAT bar in the lobby is a nice added bonus. The room was clean but fairly basic. Staying in this neighborhood, you probably won't do much more than sleep and shower in the room, so not a big deal about the spartan accomodations in the rooms themselves.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great value, great location"
We enjoyed our stay at The Blooms Hotel. The location was fantastic, central to the major sights and right next to the airport bus stop. The room was spacious and clean, ours had a balcony! I would definetly stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Heart of Dublin"
You probably cannot get more centrally located to it all. I was not there on any club nights so I do not know how loud it gets.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Middle of it ALL"
In the heart of the Temple Bar, bar scene. A bit noisy at night but not too bad. Hotel is convenient to all the sites and scenes of downtown Dublin. Parking is very close, but because of one-way streets a few block drive. Room was small, bed was a bit too firm.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location but"
No A/C and it was hot in June. Construction outside the hotel made getting in and out a little difficult. If there was a/c would definitely stay there again as the location was great - right in the middle of Temple Bar.Genuine Expedia guest review
The hotel is very centrally located. The room was comfortable but by no means luxurious. The first night we stayed (a weekend night) the music from the downstairs pub was so loud that we could feel the vibrations well into the night. We could also hear the patrons quite clearly. The remaining nights were much quieter. Other than that, the hotel was […] fine for our needs. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Noisy, Wifi Down"
Wifi was down about 2 days of my stay and off-and-on for the rest of it. The rooms are really cramped for the price so you are paying for the location here. Warning: walls are thin so you'll hear music on Fridays and other guests bang doors, scream, make-out, etc... Music to the ears of some guests, not so to others. Be warned.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Great hotel in Dublin in a great central location. My only complain is when we stayed there, they were doing construction at night in front of my room. Luckily i was so jet lagged i slept through most of it hahaha but overall a great hotel, excellent location and really cool bar (with two free drinks) connected.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
excellent location if you want to be in the heart of the bar scene and easy walk to most attractions. Nice clean rooms and friendly staff.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"in walking distance of everything"
I would have responded sooner but I was still abroad in Europe and had problems with my cell to respond to your survey.I was VERY impressed with the staff especially Chris, Hotel Manager. He is a very hands on Manager--I had come down with a cold and needed to put the radiator on, which was not working and he personally tried to fix it himself. His […] efforts were futile and he provided me with a small portable heater. This was a WOW experience for me as your guest. "good place in Dublin"
The room was fine, no frills, and no WiFi in the room, but management was nice enough to move us to another room when outside noise was an issue.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A little warm but not the worst"
Great location, small but adequate rooms. Tub was large and comfortable at least. No AC I don't believe, at least not that we could control.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good Location for Temple Bar activities"
If you want a homebase for pub crawling in Temple Bar the Blooms Hotel is a good choice. Staff at the front desk and the attached Vat House pub weren't overly friendly and the room was stuffy but if you don't spend a lot of time in your hotel room this shouldn't matter. The beds sufficed and the shower worked.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Central location, but beware the party crowd"
My daughter and I stayed here for our sightseeing in Dublin. The location is fantastic for visiting Trinity College, historical sites, catching the bus, restaurants, the river. My only caution is that half a block away on weekends it's a madhouse with drunken party people. We were on the fourth floor at Blooms and a lot of the sound was muffled, so […] not a deal-breaker. But still, you should know about this if you plan to stay there. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Not for the faint of heart"
Room is not in good condition. Very basic. Internet only works in the hallway or lobby, very noisy day and night! Construction on the building next to us. Garbage trucks early in the morning. Most staff are friendly. If you don't mind the noise and like to party this is the place for you.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Temple Bar is so much fun at night! Being close by everything is awesome! However, it is loud at night...which didn't bother me but may bother some. My opinion--great location, great price!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Best location for seeing everything"
Loved it!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"great hotel for adults."
The hotel was great with a restaurant, pub, and nightclub. Of course, being right in the middle of Temple Bar, it was noisy outside at night even being on the 3rd. floor. For parking, there was a 24 hour parking garage on the adjoining street. There was a discount on the parking fee for the garage. At least the car was off the street.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Pros and Cons"
The hotel location was fantastic, especially if you are younger and looking to be right in the heart of temple bar. The bar below Vat House is also fantastic, live music every night starting at 9:00 and very friendly and helpful bar tenders. You will hear the people down in the street throughout the nights, but nothing too disrupting. However, be warned, […] there is a club underneath and on Friday (it wasn't active M-T) night it started bumping starting at 12 going until 3AM, might not bother people who are out be we had to catch a flight at 8AM the next morning so that wasn't super appreciated. We could have moved to another hotel had we known, we didn't get sleep all night. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to all the fun"
The Blooms is a great hotel if you love fun and like Temple Bar. The rooms were a little cramped, but comfortable and The Vat House has great food.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Convenient, but noisy"
It was very noisy; even on the 5th floor, we could hear everything the DJ was saying in the pub.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel is close to anything in Dublin. Only a few minutes walk to anywhere you had to be. The rooms were a little less clean that preferable, with a few stains on the carpet, and the beds were very hard. For the price though, this was perfect for a quick stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Within walking distance to many sights"
Our stay here was very enjoyable - the shower was great and having reliable Internet in the room was great. The room was clean and The Vat House attached to the hotel had very good food. Truly accessible to so many things. The Temple Bar area is hopping until late at night and we thought it was noisy, until we opened the window - then we knew that the […] room was as soundproof as possible. We used white noise to block the "outdoor festivities." Would definitely recommend this hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Although a bit loud, the location rocks!"
The Blooms was wonderful! The staff was great as well, very friendly and helpful, great service. The rooms were clean and nice, and the location really can't be beat. You're right in the heart of the temple bar area and just a couple minutes walk from Grafton street. It's really easy to get around when you're so centrally located. The only downfall […] is the noise, you are by a bunch of bars so you'll hear drunk people into the wee hours of the night, but it's not terrible. I'm a light sleeper and it wasn't even too disruptive for me. I absolutely recommend this hotel especially considering Dublin really is a walking city. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Great location, right near Trinity college, centrally located to many incredible sights in Dublin. Located in Temple Bar, perfect for nights out with friends. Wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for a quiet stay with family, but if you're for nights (and days) of drinking and adventures this place is perfect. Can't wait to come back!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
