The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Great ambassadors for people new to Chicago. This was a fantastic hotel. Our room had 2 double beds and had plenty of extra space. Bathroom had a rain shower which is one of my favorite things. Great location right off Michigan Ave. This is a great place to stay, no complaints.

Great overall experience, staff was friendly. Sent up an extra fridge, free of charge, to house some leftover food. Restaurant isn't too expensive either. Only issue is the housekeeping staff liked to knock on my door every 30 minutes from 8:30 AM on for cleaning and I never planned on getting up before like 10 or 11. I never put the sign on the door […] at night, which is probably part of the issue, but that is really all. Overall, great place to stay, will definitely come back again. Great location, lovely building, nice bar/restaurants. Little things, though, need a bit of upkeep: the inside of the elevators are worn and a stark contrast to the lovely lobby. Also, the window in the room let in a lot of cold temperature, making it necessary to blast the heat all night to counter it. Other than that, things were lovely.

Cozy, beautiful hotel, very clean, nice rooms, great location. My friends and i stayed last Friday night after seeing a musical in the city. We had dinner and brakfast there too. Good food, good prices. We rally enjoyed the piano bar. Will Go back again.

I will never ever stay there again or even recommend it to anyone of my friends. The staff were very rude especially at the lobby bar. The rooms reeked in mold . House keeping only made the bed without cleaning bathroom or replenishing any of the toiletries items. We had to call for additional soap and shampoo. It's rare that I get to sleep in late. My only concern was the construction going on. I was awakened on the 14th to the sound of some one hammering. My sweetie and not was pleased with that. Valet parking was more expensive then the much nicer Drake hotel garage.

But the front desk was so accommodating. They moved us to a bigger room free and gave us complimentary breakfasts. It made for a much nicer stay.

This gem 1/2 block off Michigan avenue was a real bargain. Although the room was not spacious, it was extremely well designed with a king sized bed. Staff was courteous and helpful. And, you are right there! within walking distance to Water Tower Place and all of Michigan Avenue shopping and dining.

It was a nice hotel. Room are tiny. Our friends that went with us stayed on a different floor and didn't have the same experience as myself. Someone had a party from about 1-2am that ended in a fight and the security didn't come until the very end. Needless to say, they didn't get much sleep and were very disappointed in the hotel.

We must have been placed next to the employee service door where everyone needed to discuss family, friends, and experiences. I do believe this was because we booked through a perceived travel discount site and Millennium Knickerbocker gave us reduced status.
