The pool of this hotel is by far one of the best in the surrounding Boston area.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Convenient to downtown"
It was very pleasurable - short- but I recommend this hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Very clean room, but MUCH smaller than comparably priced rooms in the vicinity. The bed was comfortable, but the room showed signs of aging (the bathroom door that was noisy and hard to close, the sink needed new gaskets). The walls were a bit thin, We could hear hallway noise and the TV from the next room with great clarity.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This hotel had a very vibrant restaurant/pool/bar scene, so if you are interested in staying somewhere with a lively and energetic environment that isn't too overwhelming then this is the place for you. The rooms were on the smaller side but quite comfortable and laid out in a style that reminds me of typical European hotel rooms.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
the hotel itself is very modern, well-kept, clean and the staff is friendly. The only complaint I had is that the bed frames in our room stuck out a little too far and my friend and I had some bruises on our shins when leaving from banging in to them! otherwise..couldn't have been better!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We loved this little boutique hotel. Very European looking in decor. The only downside for me was the lighting in the bathroom was not good for putting on my makeup. Everything else was excellent.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Value - Super Location!"
I love smaller, boutique hotels and this one is a winner in this location! I was attending a weekend event in Wellesley, but the Riverside T-Station is literally a "stones throw" if Boston had been my destination. Free covered parking and internet were definitely a plus. The pool area is absolutely lovely. I wouldn't choose this hotel if you are looking […] for a quiet getaway. It's a popular spot for the young and social on Saturdays who can get into the pool with a cover charge. I personally found the music and energy fun. The folks at the front desk were great when I phoned at 1:00 a.m. to have a document printed for the next morning. I would definitely stay here again! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Beautiful Pool and Pool Surroundings"
The Lobby is quite Modern and pretty but the chairs and Ottomans are rather low and Uncomfortable. The Bar is friendly and right inside from the outside pool area. The room has a king size bed which was comfortable, but the room and the bathroom are tight. The room has nice furniture but is hard to get around. The closet is small, even though there is […] a safe, and iron and ironing board contained within it.The staff is very friendly and tries very hard to resolve your personal problems.Breakfast was not included and I did not see the restaurant! "Close enough to the city but far enough away."
Lovely hotel, nice location. The "T" was just steps away from hotel, which was awesome. My only complaint is room was small, but clean. The pool area was amazing, but seemed it was for the private parties going on. As a guest I did not feel like I was able to use thd cabanas or other space.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Crazy times in Newton!"
The hotel is nice and the accomodations were great. My friends and I had been hoping to spend some time relaxing by the pool.......however, we soon discovered that it is a crazy, wild, loud, drunken hang-out for a lot of 20-something Jersey Shore types. Not what we had hoped for. If you are into a young party scene, the Indigo is the hotel for you. […] For a relaxing get away, not so much. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Great Hotel, Short walk to T"
This hotel was outstanding. We stayed for 3 nights and couldn't be more pleased. It was just a short walk to the T which always you to get pretty much anywhere in Boston in a reasonable amount of time. It's also walking distance to the Museum of Science which is where the Duck Tours depart from. The staff and concierge service was very helpful in pointing […] out some great spots to eat. I stay here because it close to where I need to be for work. The restaurant downstairs is the best thing about the hotel. While a bit pricey, the food is very good, and a drink by the first poolside is divine. The hotel overall is okay....when it first opened it was great! Over the years, it seems you can feel and see the wear and tear on the rooms, […] hallways, elevators, etc. the staff is good, but also they have a bit of their focus on service that used to be palpable. "Nice for visiting your college son in Boston ;-)"
Great place to stay if distance to Boston Downtown is not a concern.Genuine Expedia guest review
I thought the rooms for the most part was great. However when I entered the front desk, a hotel employee was having an argument with a vallet/transportation worker. It was not the best initial impression of the hotel. The walls were thin & so i felt like i had to speak quieter than normal. The sheets beneath the covers had dirt on them & didn't feel […] the cleanliest. For those reasons I cannot give Hotel Indigo a better review. If these things are fixed/addressed it will make the hotel a much better experience for future guests. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Clean, modern and convenient"
The Indigo is a comfortable and clean hotel which is a pleasure to stay in. It's got modern fixtures in the living area and in the bathrooms, nice wooden floors instead of old stained carpets, and a big pillowy bed. If you're traveling downtown it's located at the Riverside T stop which is right at the end of the D Line, but it's also conveniently right […] off of Rt 128 so driving in and out is easy also. For the money this hotel is a bargain. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great find! Exceeds expectations."
I had a one day conference in Cambridge boston, but didnt want to pay boston city hotel or parking rates. I found hotel Indigo online and was completely satisfied with my stay and recommend it highly. It was only a 15 min drive to my meeting and is conveniently located right off I-90. There is ample parking ($7/night). I didnt mind paying for parking […] as the room was SO AFFORDABLE! The hotel was clean, the staff articulate and responsive. For example: I had trouble getting onto the WiFi internet (turned out the wireless was down in my area of the hotel) and was someone working on it within minutes. They followed up with me to make sure that the internet service was improved. I was really appreciative and the WiFi was up with in 10 min. The room was very clean and sunny. I really liked that there were hard floors in the rooms. I took a very hot shower and there was great water pressure, the aveda products were a nice bonus! I also had dinner in the hotel restaurant, it exceeded expectations. The steak was perfectly cooked, the service was great, my water glass was never empty. It felt more like a boutique restaurant rather then a typical bland hotel restaurant! Early in the morning (6:45a) I got up and there is a little food kiosk to buy tea, coffee, yogurt and muffins, super convenient! I will definitely stay at this hotel again. "Nice place to stay"
It was a really nice place to stay but would have loved if it was closer to downtown of Boston b/c you have to leave the downtown at 12:45am train to make it back or you'd have to use a car to get around. Not good idea if you want to drink & party.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Very good hotel"
Very nice, I kind of like this hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel staff was great. Our car battery died and they immediately helped us with getting us to where we needed to go and with getting the car started again. Rooms were nice. Ours was a bit small and I did miss have a refrigerator in the room. Restaurant was also very nice. Free breakfast was definitely a bonus. The only suggestion I have would be for […] the hotel to do a slightly better job of making sure all common areas are cleaned routinely -- this would include elevators, hallways and lounge areas. Would definitely stay here as it was a good value. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great choice especially if visiting Boston by car"
The hotel appears to have been recently renovated, top to bottom. It turned out to be an excellent choice, especially for the price. The bed was comfortable, everything was clean, and the room came with everything we might have expected. My only complaints are that a prior guest cracked the sink (it was still very usable but a hairline crack was very […] evident) and it was easy to bang your shin on the bed. The bed platform was low and the footboard was rather hidden; meanwhile, the work chair at the desk had arms that didn't fit underneath the desk, causing my wife to walk straight into the footboard at night as she negotiated her way around the chair -- ouch! We moved the desk chair to a different part of the room and thereafter suffered no injuries. In addition to offering clean, new and stylish space, the hotel is very well located for someone driving into Boston via the Mass Pike and it has a hip restaurant and bar that was absolutely packed on Saturday night with young professionals. "Too loud for romantic getaways"
This hotel is more for business travelers. Spent a night there as a romantic getaway and while it was clean and well-maintained, we found the room to be loud (could hear the traffic on the street). Breakfast is pricey.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good looking but not functional & very expensive"
The room and hotel really looked nice. The shower was spectacular. BUT the room was way too small and non functional. 2 beds for 3 people barely left any room to walk around. Plus there was room for 1 suitcase and no place to put things, i.e. in the bathroom the square sink looked great, but left a 3" by 2.5' shelf for all toiletries, including tissue […] box (not refilled by maids) and glasses. The restaurant was great, but one of the most expensive meals I have had ($44 for main course without sides or apps). The business center was good (old software) but the workout room was a joke-2 machines. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"St. Patricks Day"
My friends and I stayed at the Hotel Indigo for St. Patrick's Day. The hotel was right off the highway which was really convenient and there was a T station right down the street. It was about a 30 minute subway ride into Boston. The front desk staff was not very helpful and a little rude. They were very short with us and didn't explain anything to […] us. The room was very clean and nice. There was 4 of us in the room and we still had enough room. The only thing that we found weird was that the bathroom did not have a lock on the door. "Good value if you only want a bed for the night"
Excellent value for around $100 a night. Was good for me as I was visiting friends and only wanted a bed for the night. Excellent access to freeway. Bed very comfy. Bathroom small and shower awkward to get into, but clean and modern. Wardrobe door would not open until i moved a heavy bedside table out of the way. "okay for one person to stay in a room"
hotel was redone since a previous stay, and this the 2nd stay since then, but all the superficial newness has worn off . I would stay there if I only needed to be in that specific area while in the greater Boston area. There is no particular charm in the area. As far as the redesign is concerned some of the wall paper etc was beginning to fray etc.. […] We had a last minute trip so we stayed even though we remembered the rooms were ridiculously tiny and inconvenient for two people, even husband and wife , to stay. There were not enough amenities as basic as even mirrors near a good light source. There is no room to navigate in the room. The only place you can be comfortable and not inconvenience the other person was on the bed. It is a good place for one person to stay. the beds were clean and comfortable. The coffee pot was a fancy pod type but we were given the wrong mugs to use it and no one knew that was why they didn't work until we fixed it by accident 30 minutes later. "Great hotel. Great location. Front desk needs help"
The front staff needs to learn how articulate sense of service. No hot water last morning. "I know" was their response. No sorries. Someone had been sick just off the side of the entrance. "Central to Boston and things on Route 128"
Since I was there for a mostly sombre trip (funeral), I have to say that the room was always tidy. Shows a bit of age, but kept relatively well. Shower was phenomenal. I would recommend to option. Wished I had chance to take the Green Line into the city for once.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A little bit of everything"
I stayed there on a mini weekend getaway to Boston (my home town). The hotel room at first seemed a bit cramped having a double twin setup. I noticed some rather minor things, like the floor peeling up with the fake hardwood and the shower door being a bit too heavy for the hinges. I wasn't too much of a fan of how the front desk treated me when I first […] got in. Second class to the normal high class that they normally see. Unfortunately for them I checked in at the same time as a guest driving a BMW to my Mustang. It might have just been the staff on duty at the time because the rest of them were nice. The beds were comfortable and bath rooms were modern. Only thing I wish was a mini fridge in the rooms as I ended up eating out and bringing back leftovers. The big perk is Riverside station. Literally a 5 min walk if that from the hotel. And you have 128 right there as well if you plan on driving anywhere. Convenient location. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Fine, although a little stark"
We did not want to drive home (1.5h away) after visiting family and a party in Newton and looked for a close by hotel that is also not too expensive. Indigo fit the bill. Not very conveniently located for us (8 miles away), but a fine hotel. My impression was that it wants to be fancy (modern European?) and has very clean cut lines in its design features. […] However, I found it to be a little stark and cold feeling. The room doors look like prison cell doors. This is just a little impression, but the hotel is perfectly fine and I don't have any real complaints. All things being equal, I would prefer a place with a warmer feel, but that is probably just a personal preference. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Convenient to Boston"
Easy drive into Boston from hotel and you avoid the much higher downtown hotel prices. Typical Hotel Indigo rooms. Wood floors rather than carpet makes it seem much cleaner, and is good for allergy sufferers. Very comfortable bed/bedding. Parking was additional $7 per day. "Make sure no party booked in the reastaurant"
An extremely noisy party in the Courtyard below my room went on until 1 AM with indifference from the staff,Genuine Expedia guest review
The rooms were tiny. The bed-boards stuck out so you constantly hit your legs. There are no bath tubs in the entire hotel. We were told it was european to only have showers. I have taken many baths in Europe. The rooms were both for handicapped people so the shower water ran all over - nothing to hold it in. There was little closet space and only three […] tiny drawers. There was only one chair in the room - a computer desk chair. We inquired about breakfast and were told they had a full service restaurant. You waited in line to place your order. Picked up your plastic silverware and proceeded to the dining room where you were supposed to sit in lounge chairs with no tables even though there was a whole room of tables and chairs we weren't allowed to use.
