Great hotel. Great Service. Great restaurants. It's on it's own exit and on 35 acres of a nature reserve. Nice little boardwalk through nature. If you want to just stay here, it is great, but if you want to go anywhere you will need a car and good navigation skills.

Hotel finished first phase of upgrades that improved the quality of the rooms. Drop in outside temperatures left the room very cold at night, no way to turn on heat. Walls are thin, can hear adjacent room activity.

It was cold in Tampa while there. tried to get the heat to work, it would not. extremely cold. Double beds are things of the past. Really small for two people. Since there were 3 people no other choice. Moved to different hotel following nights.

The only thing as a business traveler that i thought was a bit ot of line...internet access in the room was $10...and it was another $3 for 10 minutes in the business center (had to view and print some documents)...then 50 cents per page to print out some documents i needed that morning.

The location is excellent, but having stayed at other Hyatt hotels, and other luxury hotels, this one just didn't measure up. The hotel was great! The hotel employees were extremely nice and accommodating especially Troy. The hotel was literally 5 minutes away and they had a shuttle. I will definitely be back even just for a weekend getaway!

We stayed in a casita king. It was nicely decorated and had a comfortable bed. We were disappointed, however, with the lack of windows and natural light. Traffic noise from the nearby highway and the airport is a problem. Be aware that the "casitas" are separated from the main hotel and are essentially upscale motel rooms. The room had only a shower -- no bath -- which is fine, but there were no shower caps, and we had to call twice and make a personal demand to an employee in order to get a shower cap for my wife. This was notwithstanding the fact that I told the hotel that there was a time problem. They kept promising immediate delivery, and just did not deliver. we had adjoining rooms for three adults and a toddler. the rooms were newly appointed and very clean. setting of hotel and surrounding grounds are beautiful, but you must drive to go anywhere off the property--i.e. not near anything. we were upgraded to 'bay view' for having to wait longer than expected for our room. the people who staff the desk were […] all very friendly and helpful. no counter space in bathrooms. no minibar. no vending machines anywhere for late night snacks. limited 'free tv' options. $10/day for wireless. fitness room nice, but very cold in there. hotel pool deck being worked on at the time of our visit, but pool at casitas was great. I have stayed here many times when visiting Tampa and have always come home satisfied.Great Staff,two pools and sits very nicely on the bay.Very close to the airport and about 10 minutes from downtown.Great value for your buck!

Unbelievable, excellent staff. Water bottles prices went down. Nice location. But nothing to do. Exercise room always closed. It was raining and pool was closed. Meals are overpriced. It is away from everything possible (beach, malls, stores, entertaining) except airport. I guess it is good for business meetings, not for family stay.

Our fitness center is complimentary to hotel guests and is open 24 hours 7 days a week. We also have 2 outdoor heated pools that are open from 6PM-10PM daily. On August 25th the Oystercatchers pool was closed. Both families and individual travelers whether on business or leisure will find everything they need to have a great stay at our property. I hope that we can have the opportunity to welcome you back to Hyatt in the future.
