The person putting together the breakfast was not clean. That made even thinking about eating it impossible. The hotel was clean enough but very old and in need of updating. The clerks were friendly.

The beds are perfect. The WiFi is fast. The pool was warm. Only downer, albeit not a biggie, was the exorbitant prices charged in the little snack and gift shop.

The hotel itself is kind of run down, the lobby and hallways don't appear well maintained and are not as clean as one would expect. The manager and day time receptionist/clerk were very nice. The evening receptionist/clerk was very officious when we questioned the necessity of ID from everyone. We had never experienced that requirement on any previous hotel stay.

I was wary after reading the other reviews, but this was closest to where I needed to be and I was on a tight budget. The hotel was surprisingly nice overall, but still had some downs. We were on the 3rd floor and did not have the smoke smell others have mentioned; that said, when the elevator opened on the 2nd floor we were hit with the smell of stale smoke. Breakfast was your typical continental deal, but on the weekends get there early because once they're out of food that was it. The only "sketchy" person I saw was a guy who hung out in the lobby/dining room wanting to debate politics with everyone, which was annoying but far from what I thought would be a problem. We have no complaints. Room was clean. Personnel were friendly. Parking area was well lit. Good continental breakfast. Good location just off 494. Easy to find and get to. Price was reasonable. We would not hesitate to stay there again if we're in the area.

Thought i would have a non smoking room but i got a smoking room instead and i dont smoke. Room stunk really bad of smoke and made my clothes stink of it to. Was suppose to have free wifi if you could get it to work. My computer kept saying the router needed to be reset. Was not to happy bout that. Pillows were not good seemed like they were left over […] pillow pieces put into the pillow cases. Bathroom wasnt the cleanest. Heard ppl in the hallways and next door and some ppl were pretty loud. Considering it was a sold out weekend the noise levels were exceptable. Rooms were very quiet. That is where good stops. The bathroom smelled of cigerette smoke. The walls in the bathroom had mold and peeling wallpaper. We needed to slam the door to the room numerous times to get it to shut. There was an included breakfast but only one of the 3 morning […] were even kept stocked. Even after people complained it would not get done. The doors to the outside would not lock either.
