My room was fairly bad. The clock didn't work and neither did the heater/air conditioning unit. The bed was incredibly hard. The complimentary breakfast wasn't worth eating. I will not stay there again

I'm a Tech grad and was in town for a football game and weekend of reminiscing and TTU nostalgia. I'd recommend this hotel if that is all you are doing. It's directly across from the stadium and we were able to walk to the game and all of the bars. The facility itself left little to be desired but we weren't in town for a luxury hotel stay. On the first night, I pulled the sheets down and they were dirty. I informed the front desk and she had them changed the following day. The room did not get vacuumed during the entire stay & upon returning to the room on 2 out of 4 nights there were no towels, so I had go find the maid. We opted for this hotel because of the location. In Lubbock for parents weekend and it is right across the street from the stadium. Walked everywhere. We were surprised by the cleaness. The stay really was very bad. No updates to room. Old box TV and very bad cable reception. Could not watch. No small wash towels. AC not working the way it should. Had to wait for the sun to go down to cool room. Just plain sucked. Your rating was way over rated and that hotel should be shut down til repairs are done and up to date for the area it is […] in. The hotel has two different servers for wi-fi. My room happened to be located in the middle of both servers, which meant I got kicked out of either server and had to re-log in depending on where I stood in the room. Hotel was close to Texas Tech campus which was nice since we were there to watch high school track. As far as the property there is definitely some repainting needing to be done on the exterior, our room was not as large as I thought it would be having a king size bed but it was managable. Television picture was a little "fuzzy" couldn't make adjustments […] to clear it up. Back to the bed, way to firm if the love seat had have been larger I would have slept there instead of the bed. As far as the breakfast the waffles were great and there was not as large a selection as I have had at other places but this was not meant to be a top notch buffet but it served it's purpose. I had place two maintenance requests for the stopped up bath tub and runnung toilet. The room was not given a bath mat after the first night. The Days Inn is subpar, but for the price that you are paying, it is not a bad deal whatsoever. It is right off the highway if you don't mind a bit of noise. But it is a good and convenience place to be.
