We were going to a play that night at the Civic Center and Embassy was one block away. It was perfect to walk to. We had dinner in their restaurant before hand and it was excellent! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
Location.
Situated in West Des Moines, Hampton Inn West Des Moines is in the business district and close to Jordan Creek Town Center, Jordon Creek Mall, and Living History Farms. Also nearby is Valley West Mall.
Hotel Features.

Lovely rooms at affordable rates. There was nothing we were unhappy with. Friendly service, great continental breakfast, clean pool. I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay in West Des Moines, Iowa

My family and i were not satisfied with these accomodations. Our non-smoking room located in the middle of a smoking section. The minute we entered the hallway to get to our room, there was a cloud of cigarette smoke. Every time we opened the door, the smoke clouded our room. This hotel did not have any twin queen sized beds to accomodate 4 people. […] It was either one king sized bed or two full size beds. I have stayed in other hampton hotels and have been pleased. this one was not acceptable. Read more

Had a great time at this hotel. Close to many things. Continental breakfast was great. The only complaint would be is that the pool and hot tub were to small. Would stay again.

"Hamton Inn West DesMoines"
My stay was for three night. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. close to my destination and resturants. I would stay there again, when in DesMoines!
Very convenient to all the shopping and easy to find. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Will definitely stay there again if we go to Des Moines for anything.
