"Beware of Shuttle Dates"
I booked here because of the Hotel shuttle. The shuttle only runs between certain times. The hotel staff called a car service for me, however the rate was almost twice what a cab would have been. When I booked the room I thought the room had two double beds and a sitting area. The sitting area was a small chair next to the bed! "Stranded due to weather"
The hotel was awesome and so was the staff. The shuttle driver Jason even took me to CVS so I didn't have to walk so far to get snacks and things. I'll definitely stay again but under different circumstances. I'd rather not miss a plane again due to weather.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"No working air conditioner."
The room was about what I would expect of this level of hotel with two major exceptions. The air conditioner was barely working and when the desk was called we were told it could only be set on 70 or it would not work. Well, it did not work well on 70 either. Location is a quick 15-20 min drive to downtown Dallas depending on traffic but there are enough restaurants in Las Colinas area to choose from. Rooms were very spacious. "Easy to get to and close to everything."
Was very happy with our room. Bed was comfortable. Our A/C didn't cool our room down as much as we hoped but our daughter and son-in-law were just down the hall and were very happy with their A/c and the room. Only complaint was there was some confusion about the names on the room. I booked 2 identical rooms at the same time and called into the hotel […] to see if the rooms could be close to each other. When I checked in they said I had booked 2 king rooms one under one site and the other under another site. They also said I had a king suite as requested. Told them I was confused because I had booked both rooms identical and at the same time on the same website. They said they don't know what happened. When a bill slipped under my door it had another persons name on it but my address. Don't know if all the confusion came about because I asked for the rooms to be located close together or not. Called hotel shuttle service at 9:15 PM for pickup at DFW. Last shuttle is 10:00 PM. The operator told me it would be 15 minutes since the driver was already making a delivery. I waited 40 minutes and watched every Shuttle that went by. I called the hotel and asked when was the driver going to pick me up. The operator said the driver made his last run […] and didn't see anyone. I never left the pickup area and watched every van. I asked why he didn't call my phone which is custamary and the operator said nothing. All hotels in the area were booked due to flights being canceled for weather. Operator pretty much gave me the oh well. I asked for a redonda and was denied. I sent the night on a bench in the airport. We chose this hotel because they offered free shuttle service from the airport and we could rent our car from the hotel in the morning. We also chose this hotel based on positive reviews. Got to the hotel and was waiting at the counter for service while the desk attendant went to wipe up some water at the drinking station. It was just a little weird to make a customer wait to wipe up a little bit of water. Then she answered the phone and we waited again. Again, just seemed a little off putting. The bathroom tub was painted and chipping off. Toilet seat didn't stay up so my husband had to hold the seat up and potty at the same time.
