The staff at the reception area seems to be annoyed with the clients they did not show a friendly attitude and seemed rather confused about what was going on with the 3rd party charge just a very unprofessional check in; but the cleaning stafff was great and that was all of the interaction. The room was good the bathroom was great would stay again I would just want a better rate. Thank you.

Lousy service with very outdated rooms. They didn't change the sheets for 4days.
"great nights stay"
Everyone was very friendly, and the hotel was emmaculate. This was a great location when staying in the downtown Chicago area.
"Nice hotel close to all the Chicago sights"
The bed was comfortable and the room was clean, that's really all you can ask for in a hotel. The mini bar was stocked with ridiculously overpriced items. I don't know why hotels do this, if they were more reasonably priced I might have indulged, but I digress. The hotel staff was friendly. All in all a comfortable stay.
"Good location but that's about it."
We were not impressed with the condition of the hotel. The fan in the bathroom was broken, the air conditioning controls were also broken. The hotel stocked an assortment of candies and drinks on the counter and the fridge was full of them. We moved some items in the fridge to make room for some leftovers and we were automatically charged for them and […] it took over 1.5 hours to sort this out. This extra time caused us to be charged a full extra day in the parking garage due to their charging system in the garage. It's all automated in the garage so there is no person to appeal to for the unjust charging. Staff was also unpleasant, and extra services available at another hotel 4 blocks away were all extra charges at the Sheraton. No free Wifi, and the in hotel restaurant was hilariously over priced. "Great Location! Beautiful resort!"
I loved our stay at the Sheraton. It was close to everything the navy pier, michigan st. (all the stores) and bars. The staff was very friendly. We had a great view from our hotel room, and the room was newly renovated.

"Sheraton Chicago Hotel and Towers"
First, please be aware that the parking for the hotel is underground, in a garage not very well marked. That alone was enough stress to keep us from recommending this to someone unfamiliar with the area. The hotel room was very stuffy, but the halls were FREEZING! The hotel was older, but nicely redone. The rooms were not very roomy, and the halls to […] the rooms were also slightly claustophobic. The staff, though, was very nice, in almost every instance. We had an issue with the pizza delivery, as they will not allow them up to the rooms, so my husband went to wait for him, where we were told he should. The delivery man was not sent there, and after 2 phone calls to the room by the staff, my husband found him, but only after I called him and told him they were lookingfor him. That was not very convenient, but not a HUGE deal. Read more

"Sheraton hotel-downtown Chicago"
For being so close to so many attractions, this hotel was so affordable. The service was great and helpful in getting around the city. It was clean and the view from our room was amazing. We would definatly stay there again.

"Nice stay"
A very comfortable, quiet hotel. View of surrounding buildings at night from their windows is spectacular. Location is quite nice next to the Chicago River.
"Good overall but poor checkin"
Did not have enough people at registration...........long lines all day. Once got through long line, did not have a room until late in evening.

"Sheraton Chicago Hotel and Towers"
The location on the Chicago River, steps from N. Michigan Avenue and Navy Pier, couldn't have been more perfect. The hotel room was standard, but had a sweeping view of the river. The fitness room was clean and pleasant - with treadmills facing big windows on the Chicago River. This is a great hotel in a fabulous town!
"A little tight"
Good location, good value for the stay in general. I made a reservation for a room with 2 queen beds for my wife and 2 kids. They said the only room they had was a king room - I assumed it was a pull out couch. Wrong. They knew we had 4 people, why not give us a room for 4 - or just honor the reservation.
The cost of breakfast, food and beverages is a liitle over the top.
"short sheet . . ."
The bed was made in such a manner that the foot of the bed WAS NOT covered with a sheet. We called the front desk to let them know that the bed was "short-sheeted" and they said they would take care of it . . . later than night discovered the same thing!! The matress cover (thin layered fabric) and the top of the mattress were exposed - no covering […] whatsoever. Read more

"Great Location"
Right on the CHicago River. Beautiful lobby. Rooms are small and basic.
"Sheraton in Chicago - close to theMagnificent Mile"
The hotel was perfectly located by the Chigago river, just next to the Marily Monroe statue and close to the Magnificent Mile. The personnel was friendly and helpful, yet there was quite a long waiting time for the check-in at the hotel due to lack of personnel. The rooms had a beautiful view over the Chicago river and all attractions were at walking […] distance from the hotel. The concierge could book tickets for the boat rides and also give a reduction on the hop-on-hop-off bus prices. On the downside, the information regarding the location of the breakfast room, as well as the price of the breakfast and the cost of the wi-fi connection in the room was very poor. A message was left on the voice mail of the phone in the room, saying that information on the final bill could be retrieved on the TV, but no instructions on how to do this. Read more
"Sheraton Towers Chicago"
Great location, but poor service. The hotel was extremely busy and did not have enough staff to accomodate. Check-in lines were long, lots of people were in the lobby waiting to go to their rooms that weren't ready yet. There were no clean towels for the pool and no staff came to collect the mountain of dirty towels in the pool area and the locker rooms […] the entire 45 minutes we were swimming. The pool was cold. The fitness room towel dispensers (to wipe down the equipment) were empty both mornings. The room service food and dishes that were set in the hall by the room next to our room was out at 10am when we left for the day and remained there at 4pm when we came back in the afternoon. The staff was not overly friendly and at times seemed somewhat confrontational. We will not stay at this hotel again. Read more
Rooms were small and dated. Could hear noise in hallways, walls were thin. Pool was over small overcrowded and dirty they ran out of towels, no chairs to even sit. No hot tub. Long wait to check in and they ran out of double rooms- only king beds. Club breakfast was a waste of money, ran out of coffee, long lines and no place to sit.
"Poor service, lots of attitude, and won't be back."
First of all, this will be a long review. I want families to know what to expect at this establishment. This hotel caters to business travelers, and seems to almost look down their noses at you if you're not wearing business suits. We checked in on a Friday evening at 7pm. This was going to be our third stay at this hotel, so I anticipated a relatively […] pleasant experience. I should have known, when my curious 14 year old son, who is used to staying at places like Great Wolf Lodge, went to grab a bellhop cart, and was greeted by a stern talking to by the bellhop, that this was going to be a troublesome visit. While I walked over to explain that his error was not intentional, another bellhop started yanking, and I mean YANKING luggage out of my trunk. I didn't notice it until later, but he had broken both my rear speakers and a couple of wire retaining clips in the process. I left the wife and kids while I attempted to escape the gridlocked bellhop area as fast as possible because the Valets were starting to swarm me. And the parking rates at this hotel are absolutely ridiculous. I parked at a nearby, staffed, inside garage for four days, and three nights for LESS than a SINGLE night at the hotels parking facility. My wife did the checking in, while I parked the car half a mile away, and walked back to the hotel. About an hour later when I arrived back at the hotel, wife was still at check-in counter...on the verge of tears. They had already filled our room, even after she had diligently called and asked if a late check-in would be a problem, which they emphatically replied to with "No problem" After much more deliberation, we were offered a room with a single King size bed, which we were perfectly fine with, but we were traveling with our two teenagers, so asked that 2 roll-a ways be sent to our room. To this they replied that would be an extra charge of $25 per night for each. Naturally I reminded them that it was their error that caused us to need roll-a ways i Read more

"room for improvement"
My recent stay was ok, but they have plenty of room for improvement. The club level, which i booked for the convenience of continental breakfast and evening snacks, was completely understaffed. This meant the food was always low or out, as well as the milk, and coffee constantly running out. The poor lady in charge did her best, bless her heart, and […] with a great attitude, given the fact that everyone was complaining about the low or missing inventory. Also, for a holiday week, the pool was also very poorly maintained. Only one day were towels actually available in the locker rooms! And the basket of used towels was constantly full and overflowing onto the pool deck! A little more staff would have been nice to keep up with the amount of guests booked at the hotel! Other than that, a pleasant stay! Read more
It should be some consideration for guest parking. A discount or guest rate or something. That is the only problem that I have with the hotel. Everything else was perfect. The parking arrangements make me want to find another hotel.
"Hotel Sheraton by the magnificent mile Chicago!"
This hotel is nice, clean, and convenient. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only downside is the parking at the hotel is expensive ($51) a night. This cost as well as the cost to use their computers is not easily displayed.

"Sheraton- Water St. Chicago"
I had a hard time to check in. The person was not very helpful. Also the hotel room was not what I expected for the price. Otherwise location was great.
"Very good"
Very good and pet friendly hotel.
My kids and I love the hotel. Everything was walking distance. I would recommend others to stay there.
"Sheraton/Chicago"
The hotel was nice, people friendly and convienent. It sure needs a remodeling done of the rooms, outdated!!
"Poor Customer service"
Made us wait for our room for 2 1/2 hours. Was not ready. Staff was rude, not accomodating. House keeping was cheap, we had to ask for shampoo and conditioner after they cleaned the room and did not replace the items we used. Housekeeping was a bit sloppy. Bell man was very nice and the hotel was beautiful, but if you get poor service it dampens all […] the beautiful points of the hotel. The only reason my family and I had a great time was because "WE" made it a great time! Read more

"sheraton chicago hotel and towers"
The hotel itself was very good but the hotel staff did not meet my exspectation. When checking in the desk clerk asked on floor preference and i stated higher up with water view in which I paid extra for. when getting to room it was not a water view. I called guest services and they put me on hold for 18 min. I then called back and they stated the could […] not accomidate because they were booked for the evening. When ordering a drink downstairs in the bar, the drink was not to my liking only to find out that the bartender made it her "special way" because she liked how it tasted. She seemed offended when I sent it back. I did not think a margahrita was so difficult to make. The 51.00 for parking was way to much and the valet guy seemed upset when he was looking for his tip. The usual rate that I have paid in chicago is $20 to $30 for the night. I told him he could take his tip out of the 51.00 rate. I would not stay again. Read more

"Sheraton Hotel Great location"
Great Hotel! Great location; friendly staff; perfect to walk anywhere! Conveniently located.
"Sheraton Towers Chicago"
Check-in was at 3:00 but are room was not ready when we arrived at 3:30, and I was told there may not be any lake view rooms, which I specifically booked for my reservation through Hotels.com. They gave us access to the pool so we at least had something to do while waiting, but it was over an hour and a half and we only found out our room was ready […] when we went back down to the lobby to ask, and then they indicated they forgot to call us when it was ready. Not a good hotel for kids, more business orientated, pool is very small for as busy as it was. The bathroom tiles were coming off and so was the shower head. Overall not a real good experience, I will stay across the street at the Embassy Suites where the breakfast buffet is included. Good location, close to Navy pier and museums. Read more
"Room was not ready and full of smoke"
When I arrived, room was not ready and wasn't ready unitl 8PM. When entered the room, it was full of cigarette smell.
"Spring Break"
We selected this hotel for our family during a 3 day stay over spring break. We were looking for a nice place downtown with a pool for some down time activity. The pool was gross! There wasn't a hotel employee to be found and the wet towels were heaped all over the pool deck. In addition, we had booked 2 rooms. The first was ready because we agreed […] to take a handicapped room but the second room was not ready until 7:30 at night and the front desk staff was pleasant but somewhat rude about it. There we people all over the lobby with luggage waiting for rooms that were supposed to be ready at 3:00 for the stated check in time. The rooms were Ok, but we were a bit suprised that we were told they had recently been renovated. They were comfortable enough but nothing upgraded from a 2-3 star hotel. On a positive note, the link cafe on the lower level was nice with the computers for free access to the internet. The woman working the coffee counter waws very pleasant and helpful. We visit Chicago often and will stay across the River and forget about a hotel with a pool for these visits. Read more
They would not honor beds in the room.
"The views were beautiful close to navy pier"
My only issue was I booked a room with two double beds for two adults and two kids and when I got there they only had rooms with one king bed available so we had to stay in two different rooms and they were not even adjoining rooms!! Everything else was beautiful and clean and the hotel staff was very friendly!!
"Great location ..."
Had some problems with our air conditioner, but that was quickly fixed. The location was right on the Rivergreenway, close to Navy Pier and only a few short blocks to the train. Would definitely stay again.
