Very nice staff, and clean hotel, also close to Metra station ( about 1.3 miles) nice swiming pool wth water park features within a mile.

I checked in and wanted to check right out. I enter my kinda funny smelling room and shrug. I turn on the tv that is on top of the broken dresser and then adjust it via the shivel base to see that probably no body ever cleaned there. I look at the bed and the comforter was so old all the threads were busted. I pull it off only to find a stained bed […] cover with cigerette burns all over it. This is a no smoking room as well. I called and asked for a different room but they were all booked and couldbn't do anything. I slept in my car where it was clean and didn't smell. Read more

Asked for non-smoking, got a smoking room. Wasn't like they gave me a non-smoking room that someone had smoked in, there were ash trays. The room smelled of cat urine. I realize I wasn't going to be staying at the Ritz, but I would have rather slept in my car.

The room was clean and the kitchen was nicely, although not fully, stocked. It's nice to have the refrigerator, microwave and stove, but if you use any of the pots and pans, you don't have anything to wash them with. If they provided some dish detergent and a scrubber, I would have washed the pan I used to heat up my dinner from the night before. Also, […] if you plan to cook, be sure and bring butter or oil. All that is stocked is the basics; silverware, glasses, dishes, pots and pans. I had to use the air conditioner, as it was about 90 degrees outside, and it was a little loud. You really can't beat the quality for the price! And it was located right by a main interstate highway. Because of all this, I stay at this same hotel every time I visit back home. Read more

Nice place to stay if price is your only concern, but do your homework first. There is no place to eat (except Wendy's) within walking distance, so make sure you have a car.
