I walked into Norcross and had dinner at the Iron Horse tavern. Very convenient for someone to go find dinner on foot. The room was basic and the other tenants were a little chatty outside after I wanted to bed down, but with my sound machine handy, I drowned them out and slept ok. Arrived at 8pm they'd overbooked, waited 30 minutes to get in.There were some splatter of things on the kitchen wall. Housekeeping is 1/week. They took the trash but didn't put new bags out. Soap, sugar had to be requested 3X. Checked out. Spent the night in the hospital, checked back in the next day but because a family member had made the new res, […] FD refused to check me back in. Even though I had booked an additional week. I said no problem, email him the form, he'll fill it out, scan it and email it back to you. They adamantly refused, Said it was fax or nothing. I'm from out of state. It's 9:06pm, I have no where to go, and no idea how to get anywhere. The woman at the FD is unhelpful. if I didn't show up, she would have charged that card for tonight in any case, what is the difference. She needed to speak to the manager who had already left for the day. No offer of assistance at all. Still had my hospital tags on me. They not only have a copy of my DL, but the city's PD is located right across the street. Not likely that I would be pulling some kind of scam with the entire police force 30 yards away. Seems weird that they've already gotten $600 from me and would rather lose another week's worth of my business to even try to be the least bit helpful. If only for 1 night. Overall we were satisfied with the accommodations at the Extended Stay America Norcross given the very budget-friendly rate we paid. Have also stayed at the other Extended Stay America in norcross down the street from this one & it was very run down, dirty & in a unsafe location, so if you are trying to decide between the two of them definitely go with […] this location on Lawerenceville st! Will say that they need to update the website with correct information about the room furnishings...it does NOT in fact contain either a hair dryer or coffee maker as it says & when I called the front desk with soaking wet hair to request my missing hairdryer, I was told they no longer provide to every guest room & the THREE they keep at front desk had already been rented out to other guests! Very irritating to have to drive down to the Walgreens with soaking wet hair to purchase one when I could have just brought my own from home had I been told the correct information about the rooms not containing them at this hotel. Very safe location & there is a McDonald's, Rite Aid, Walgreens all within about 3 blocks walking distance and less than a mile from downtown historic Norcross. Read more

Not taking anything away from the hotel... BUT it needs up grading!!! It is in a VERY welcoming area, long as you don’t pass the big group of trees. The way GPS routed us to the hotel it was very nice and quant. However, when we had to leave, GPS took us a different way… uh, yeah… not so great! The rooms where “okay”! The TV’s are ancient! Hotel was in a secluded area. It is more like a one star hotel. You pay for what you get. TV is truely a 12 inch and you have a kitchenett, with a small microwave and college size referigerator.. Pillow is so small you think it's for a 3 yr old.

There was an bad order in the room. Found previous occupies items under the bed. We called for towels never got anyone on the phone to actually get them. Thanks for repairing the remote. I just could not feel at home away from home.
