Try to be find another
It's been a long time since I walked into a hotel and felt completely disappointed. The staff will greet you when you walk in, but as soon as you ask one question (when/where's the breakfast, which elevator should I take, when's checkout time) their answer is impolite and demeaning. The rooms are very very small, which may work for a couple, but if it's two friends travelling together... I advise against it. Everything is OLD and hasn't been taken care of for a long time. Except the bathroom which is... ok. Oddly big given the room dimensions, but clean and functional. Worst breakfast (read other comments... canned food), but if you stay with coffee, croissants and maaaybe scrambled eggs... you may be ok. I had breakfast at Starbucks almost every day. This being said... the location is good, I didn't like the neighborhood too much, but it's undoubtedly well connected and located. And the price is... acceptable. But I expected more, and I encourage you to try to find a better place for the same money.

Horrible
The bed was extremely uncomfortable - so much that I hurt my back. The bathroom had a horrible drainage smell. Our room was located underground level so our view was a wall. To get to our room we had to go through the kitchen. You have to pay for WiFi. I would never stay here again.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in Europe
I have stayed at almost 20 hotels throughout Europe over the past several years. I am sorry to say this was one of the worst. I arrived at the hotel at 10am after an early landing - exhausted. I had appointments later that afternoon. When I got to the desk, I was greeted and presented my information. The young lady - who spoke broken English- simply looked up and said, "I'm sorry, you cannot check in until 2pm." When I explained that I had just got in, had appointments in the afternoon, and was there any accommodation that could be made to at least allow me to clean-up and get organized, she looked at me and answered more simply, "NO." When I asked her if there was any way a room would be ready earlier, she did not understand me. Finally the woman seated next to the girl talking to me (instead of addressing me directly) turned to the girl right in front of me said, "tell him no." Forget good service, that was completely RUDE. They ended up pointing me in the direction of some employee bathroom downstairs. It was dirty, it smelled, and I had to literally change, clean-up, and go into my baggage for the things I would need. -DISGUSTING! If all that wasn't enough, the day I left they even forgot the wake-up call I requested - which could have been a disaster as I could have missed my flight but for my cell phone alarm. TERRIBLE.

For the money I paid, I expected more!!!
We had a room for 3 people and I was charged a lot of money for the room. There was no space to put luggage. The floors were creaky. There was no air-condition. The rooms were very old and dirty. For the money I paid, I expected more!!!!!. The only good thing was it was close to Paddington station.
