Location is excellent in the heart of London, close to 2 subway stations. I stayed in a single room in september that was extremely small, very poorly ventilated with a small window almost blocked by an adjacent wall. The room was a suffocating experience. Otherwise the staff was friendly, helpful, rooms are clean and breakfast was ok. I would never go back to that dungeon room again.

My stay was miserable. They gave me a room without air condition and it was extremely hot in London with high humidity. no fan available nothing and then they charged me for water because I was so thirsty from the heat. WILL not stay again!

North of Hyde Park is very nice and convenient to two undergrounds and a block from the double decker bus stop. The free breakfast is a nice added touch. the rooms were clean and bathrooms were nice. my only complaint would be that the mattresses were not that great of quality but I was able to sleet fine. I would defiantly stay here again

A good value for the price, it is also well located close (about a block ) to food and shops as well as subway (the Tube) and buses. There is also a major park at the end of the street. only caution is the very limited internet access.

We selected the hotel at the last moment because of location and price. The room was very small and not the most comfortable, but also not extremely bad either. Two tiny elevators that only one person and one bag could accommodate. The buffet breakfast was a nice touch and the food was good.

It is located in downtown London. You can easily access everywhere in London by walk or taking subways. It is also very safe and convenient. There are a lot of supermarkets, restaurants, coffee shops including Starbucks within 2-3 minutes from the hotel.

The AC did not work. The phone did not work. My room was in the basement. There were workers every day banging outside our window at 07:00am. Staff took all day to bring an extra pillow.

I visted reception a few times between paying for wifi, resetting room key,the receptionists were yhr most unfriendly, rude people I have come across, thry did nothing to make mu visit to London any wsyy pleasant. Breakfast was bad as well as my partner was very ill after it. Wouldn't recommend hotel.

We got what we paid for and, that said, we would stay there again. The bathroom radiator could not be turned off so it was like going into a sauna. The beds were clean and comfortable. The hotel is in need of some tlc but overall it was clean. The breakfast was excellent with plenty to choose from.

Having read other reviews, I can agree with their comments about cleanliness, poor breakfast choice and noise. However, we did find the staff very friendly. The hotel location was perfect for us. Being seniors, we have bus passes and could catch a bus to wherever we needed to go. We found plenty of places to eat in the vicinity.

The hotel did a surprisingly good breakfast for the money, but the room was tiny and tired looking, only ones pillow, and no wifi even if you pay for it, which I had to, "it works better in the lobby" I was told by the girl on reception! I want it to work in my room!! She did give me my £5 back though!

Room very small kept bumping into furniture. Shower room -just space to stand and face loo, basin or shower. Terrible smell initially of rancid water. Shower bowl cracked, tiles cracked and corridors very narrow so difficulty passing anyone especially with children or buggy. Breakfast ok and reception helpful and friendly. It was cheap so we can't complain.Location good. Neighbourhood good

Ideal overnight stay. Room small but clean and tidy. Same could be said of the bathroom (shower no bath.) Breakfast not the most comprehensive choice but certainly adequate,hot and tasty. Close to tube (Queensway and Lancaster Gate) and buses on Bayswater Road. Would certainly use this hotel again if staying in London for a couple of days as it was good value for money.

A very average hotel. Good neighbourhood with restaurants and shops. Quiet central, close to the Royal Albert Hall (15 mins walk). Room was correct, even if very small, like the bathroom which was really small, toilets was squeezed in between the wall and the shower. But mainly in average for London.

Stayed for 2 days January 12th/14th 2015,location of hotel was great as we were in London for show at Royal Albert Hall and was very handy for tube stations,only problem we had was our room was very small and extremely hot even when we turned radiator off.We asked staff if there was another room and they happily obliged and gave us a bigger room.The only real issue was the rooms could do with a good lick of paint and some of the fixtures and fittings were broken and very old defo could do with replacing,breakfast was great but no bacon for full English and only cheese for continental no ham but hey ho for the price we paid for 2 nights in London I was still happy with the service and the hotel as a whole.Would stay there again.

Smallest room seen in any hotel ever. Carpet was dirty, walls were dirty bathrooms were satisfactory. Corridor were so small and car carpet in it was so so dirty... Anyone walk in that corridor and you can feel that in your bed... Finding your room is like you have to cross a maze to get into it... Wifi is like £10 per day and that too worst speed in this 4g age. Bad experience, not worth for even 2 stars.

check in was fine and the area is ok. the room was OK but the doors were exceptionally narrow I am not huge but I had to turn sideways to get into the bathroom, which had no lock on the door. there was a gap under the main door of about 40mm (1 1/2") which made the night very noisy. Breakfast was just a free-for-all but the food was OK. I don't think I would recommend it but if you are a heavy sleeper and not too large it could suit you.

We enjoyed our stay. Barely had any interaction with the staff. The room was comfy however the towels smelt rather strongly of cigarettes which I meant I couldn't get a shower. Also the doors are extremely thin no sound proofing at all. Breakfast was a good variety. not too sure on quality.

This hotel is very central, the neighborhood is great with ample restaurant choice and the Odeon Whiteleys movie theatre a bloc away. However I was given (without being informed) a room with no natural light at all as the view was completely obstructed. In the bathroom the light above the sink did not work and there was no hand soap or plastic cup.

We were offered a triple room which turned out to be a disaster. First the room safe was faulty. Next the shower drain was clogged which was like showering in a swimming pool. After complaining was offered another room which thankfully was an improvement. The breakfast was a plus with an extensive buffet style breakfast.

Location fine. Our room (probably one of the cheaper ones) window looked out on the wall of building of 3 or 4 stories (at a guess less than 4 -5ft away )The room had 1 double 1 single beds, very comfortable which made the bedroom a bit cramped. It had good wardrobe and a mirror you could actually sit at, and tea and coffee tray. There was no air conditioning in the room and even with the windows open (security bar stopped them opening far) the room was stuffy. Wouldn't like to stay there during warm weather. The breakfast was only OK but it was included in the price. But for somewhere to rest your head in Autumn it was ok

The room was very small and no air conditioning in the room. the window opened onto no view with an emergency stairwell. This made it difficult to keep the door open at night as it posed a security risk. Servicing of the room was very basic; a quick run over with the vacuum and the sheets were not changed at all. The ensuite was basic. The towel rail was barely hanging on the wall. A hair on the walk from the first day remained on the wall of the shower as I left also. Not recommended.

I have to say that my expectations were high before arriving at this hotel. However, as soon as we went there our expectations dropped immediately. Staff at the reception was not welcoming. They didn't give any details of the hotel and how everything works there. All they gave straight away is the application to fill stating 'this is for police'. Once we stepped in the room, there was no TV remote control, no air conditioning remote control. As the room was in the basement, then we were not bothered to go back upstairs as we were tired from travelling already. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!!!
