"Affordable and convenient"
This was my first of three stays at this hotel during my travels. When I arrived in the morning the lobby was chaos between the breakfast crowd, new arrivals, and complaints at the guest services desk. I was able to leave my luggage and return that afternoon for my actual room assignment which was no problem for me. I was given a room a bit larger than […] I booked which was nice. The bathroom was newly remodeled but the only working heat source in the room was an electric space heater. Internet is really subpar, be prepared to have to use the PC in the lobby if you want a solid connection and it is a fee per hour (but a rather reasonable one I think). There is not enough seating at breakfast so come early or be prepared to stand. All this said the hotel is a five minute walk from the Queensway and Bayswater underground stations and from Hyde and Green Parks. It was very easy to catch the tube or a bus to anywhere I was going in the city during my stay. Overall, a "budget" hotel that is conveniently located. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not what is represented on website!"
I arrived after a red-eye from the States at 9 am; and although 10 people were checking out as I was checking in, the desk clerk said I had to wait 4-5 hours to get a room. Why couldn't they prioritize one of the rooms for cleaning from the people who had checked out? I was more than willing to wait an hour--but no, that wasn't possible. When I arrived […] back at the appointed time I had to wait another 30 minutes while he "checked" on the status of the room. I finally asked for the manager and was immediately given a room. The room was a dump. The website says this hotel had supposedly been renovated--and the pictures looked fresh and nice--but that was not the case in the room they gave me or in the hotel areas I saw! My room had chipped paint and torn up rugs; it was 80 degrees and no way to cool it. There was an empty tupperware food container sitting on the stairs and the elevator carpet was full of bleach stains and ripped up. The one bright spot was the concierge, who was lovely. The desk clerk, while not completely rude, was condescending and too busy to attend to people. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Run down but clean - great location!"
I stayed in a basement room, with a very tiny bed. I knew ahead of time that this would be the smallest room of my trip, but it was almost comical how cramped it was. There is no phone in the room, and while it is not busy, any noise in the hallway sounds like it is in your room. It is clean, and I knew from reading the reviews that it is a little run […] down. The location is great - very close to the underground, bus lines, and the tour bus line I wanted, not to mention a small supermarket and little restaurants. Since I wasn't spending much time at the hotel, this location worked well for me. For the price and location I would stay there again. Just be sure you know it is not luxury accomodations! "Would definitely NOT RECOMMEND"
Hotel started off promising, letting us check in early. When we saw the lift we knew it was going to be bad, too tiny for 2 people and 2 bags. We stayed in the "renovated" part of the hotel but it was CHEAPLY done and TINY room. No luggage stand so they had to go on the floor. Linens were DIRTY and sheet kept coming loose b/c they used a flat sheet […] instead of a fitted one. No side lamp so you had the overhead light on or nothing. Mattress was hard as a rock and pillows flat as pancakes. Wi-fi is not free and was told this very rudely by woman at front desk. Finally on the last day the shower broke and TV didnt work anymore and when we told the front desk they seemed unconcerned and unapologetic. Only good point to this hotel was free buffet breakfast and convenient location. There were other hotels on the same street, I am sure one could do WAY better than this at about the same price. We had a good stay at the Queens Park Hotel. It is on a quiet street so you can get your rest but Qweensway has shops, restaurants and several tube stations just 2 blocks away. Room was small but clean. Included breakfast was convenient. Staff overall was good. We did have one unhelpful desk clerk but that was more than made up by the concierge/bellhop/maintenance […] guy. I forgot to ask for his name but he got a lot done for us, be sure to tip him well if you see him. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Friendly Queen's Park Hotel"
The location of the Hotel is excellent. The Queensway Metro Station is only 2 blocks away. There are many restaurants, markets, and money exchange places nearby. The Hotel has been remodeled recently, and it was clean and comfortable. The staff at the Concierge Desk was really friendly and helpful, and breakfast was very good and plenty. I would stay […] there again in my next visit to London. I would only hope for a wi-fi service the next time. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great value for money"
It was totally beyond my expectation for the price I paid - room size wasn't too small, heating was good, a good range of choices for breakfast. Some minor points - the wall was a bit dirty, and sink was tiny.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"You get what you pay for."
Having read other reviews, I can agree with their comments about cleanliness, poor breakfast choice and noise. However, we did find the staff very friendly. The hotel location was perfect for us. Being seniors, we have bus passes and could catch a bus to wherever we needed to go. We found plenty of places to eat in the vicinity.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Needs a revamp, and sort the room wifi out please!"
The hotel did a surprisingly good breakfast for the money, but the room was tiny and tired looking, only ones pillow, and no wifi even if you pay for it, which I had to, "it works better in the lobby" I was told by the girl on reception! I want it to work in my room!! She did give me my £5 back though!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"The Queenspark Hotel"
Room very small kept bumping into furniture. Shower room -just space to stand and face loo, basin or shower. Terrible smell initially of rancid water. Shower bowl cracked, tiles cracked and corridors very narrow so difficulty passing anyone especially with children or buggy. Breakfast ok and reception helpful and friendly. It was cheap so we can't complain.Location […] good. Neighbourhood good Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Value for money."
Ideal overnight stay. Room small but clean and tidy. Same could be said of the bathroom (shower no bath.) Breakfast not the most comprehensive choice but certainly adequate, hot and tasty. Close to tube (Queensway and Lancaster Gate) and buses on Bayswater Road. Would certainly use this hotel again if staying in London for a couple of days as it was […] good value for money. "not very good.."
Walls in the Room were dirty. The TV didn't work. The room was a box. Very Lacklustre. Nostalgic Carpet though :)Genuine Hotels.com guest review
A very average hotel. Good neighbourhood with restaurants and shops. Quiet central, close to the Royal Albert Hall (15 mins walk). Room was correct, even if very small, like the bathroom which was really small, toilets was squeezed in between the wall and the shower. But mainly in average for London.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Wrong advertising of 3 stars, avoid it."
Smallest room seen in any hotel ever. Carpet was dirty, walls were dirty bathrooms were satisfactory. Corridor were so small and car carpet in it was so so dirty... Anyone walk in that corridor and you can feel that in your bed... Finding your room is like you have to cross a maze to get into it... Wifi is like £10 per day and that too worst speed […] in this 4g age. Bad experience, not worth for even 2 stars. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Bit of a let down"
check in was fine and the area is ok. the room was OK but the doors were exceptionally narrow I am not huge but I had to turn sideways to get into the bathroom, which had no lock on the door. there was a gap under the main door of about 40mm (1 1/2") which made the night very noisy. Breakfast was just a free-for-all but the food was OK. I don't think […] I would recommend it but if you are a heavy sleeper and not too large it could suit you. "Ideal location lovely area"
We enjoyed our stay. Barely had any interaction with the staff. The room was comfy however the towels smelt rather strongly of cigarettes which I meant I couldn't get a shower. Also the doors are extremely thin no sound proofing at all. Breakfast was a good variety. not too sure on quality.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great location but Blind Room & Minimal service"
This hotel is very central, the neighborhood is great with ample restaurant choice and the Odeon Whiteleys movie theatre a bloc away. However I was given (without being informed) a room with no natural light at all as the view was completely obstructed. In the bathroom the light above the sink did not work and there was no hand soap or plastic cup.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Hotel close to Queensway tube station"
We were offered a triple room which turned out to be a disaster. First the room safe was faulty. Next the shower drain was clogged which was like showering in a swimming pool. After complaining was offered another room which thankfully was an improvement. The breakfast was a plus with an extensive buffet style breakfast.Genuine Expedia guest review

"One night stay"
Location fine. Our room (probably one of the cheaper ones) window looked out on the wall of building of 3 or 4 stories (at a guess less than 4 -5ft away )The room had 1 double 1 single beds, very comfortable which made the bedroom a bit cramped. It had good wardrobe and a mirror you could actually sit at, and tea and coffee tray. There was no air conditioning […] in the room and even with the windows open (security bar stopped them opening far) the room was stuffy. Wouldn't like to stay there during warm weather. The breakfast was only OK but it was included in the price. But for somewhere to rest your head in Autumn it was ok Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

Our room although a small double was comfortable and clean. We had a good breakfast which set us up for the day sightseeing. I would definitely use again. :-)Genuine Expedia guest review
"Not recommended at all"
The room was very small and no air conditioning in the room. the window opened onto no view with an emergency stairwell. This made it difficult to keep the door open at night as it posed a security risk. Servicing of the room was very basic; a quick run over with the vacuum and the sheets were not changed at all. The ensuite was basic. The towel rail […] was barely hanging on the wall. A hair on the walk from the first day remained on the wall of the shower as I left also. Not recommended. "Not Satisfied At All"
I have to say that my expectations were high before arriving at this hotel. However, as soon as we went there our expectations dropped immediately. Staff at the reception was not welcoming. They didn't give any details of the hotel and how everything works there. All they gave straight away is the application to fill stating 'this is for police'. Once […] we stepped in the room, there was no TV remote control, no air conditioning remote control. As the room was in the basement, then we were not bothered to go back upstairs as we were tired from travelling already. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!!! "A fine and affordable hotel"
Stayed just a single night, booked the morning of and got it for about 60 quid. The hotel is located right near the Bayswater tube station (5 min walk), breakfast is included though nothing to write home about, the internet was £1/hour, £5/3 hours, £10/24 hours. The room was good, though the hallways getting there are a bit questionable. In the room, […] at least the one I had, was a queen sized bed, a bathroom and it was all quite clean and tidy. "Close to train station and central."
1. For a 3star hotel- I expected kettle is available. 2. No power outlet unless you pull out the TV power plug. 3. No air conditioning 4. Small toilet and shower area. Value for money if you just need a place to crash at night close to train station and central. You are not paying for comfort. Comes with parking space of €10 per night.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good location and affordable"
By no means the Ritz, but reasonable for the price paid. A convenient location near Hyde Park and about five minutes walk from the nearest tube station.
