"OK for one night"
While clean there were stains on the carpet and furniture. For two people, one bar of soap at lavatory, one in bath area and only one shampoo. The table on which the TV was placed was damaged the leading egde quite ragged. The round table wobbly. Btrakfast area neded some atention. Admitedly we didn't go until 8:30 AM, but spils had not ben wiped in […] serving area. Fruit of poor quality, cinamon buns had ben cut in half while stil in their wrappers. Cofe smeled of being left over so did not try. Had tea. Juice very good. Bed comfortable and had a surplus of pilows! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Clean, quite, affordable."
What more do you need?Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The accommodations were adequate for our needs. The hotel was clean and comfortable, but needs an update. The location was fifteen minutes away from the Hiddenite Emerald Mine, which was our destination. There were also many places to eat a short distance away. One negative was that the pool was not ready for use.Genuine Expedia guest review

You can't beat the price! A little old, and some rough edges, but clean, and safe Great for an overnight on the trip south.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Days Inn Statesville in North Carolina"
Waffles for breakfast was a pleasant surprise. We were on the side facing the highway and the traffic noise was loud.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Very loud traffic. Felt as if we were sleeping on the freeway. Towel rack held in place by one screw. Flood lights on all night feeling like the sun was coming through the window all night. The air conditioning/heating unit was unbearably loud all night, competing only with the traffic noise through the front door. There was no difference in the traffic […] noise if the door was opened or not. This was by far one of the worst experiences I have had in a motel. I would never recommend it to anyone. We got no sleep at all. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Good location; great staff"
We were on a stop over going to Atlanta; the hotel was very easy to find right off the Interstate. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. They even came to the room to help with the Internet connection when I was having difficulty. It is an older hotel but it was clean and comfortable. Would reccommend.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
the hotel was easy to find . We had a very quiet room and the breakfast although continental was good the coffee was very good.Genuine Expedia guest review
Excellent for money. Not extravagant but was confortable and had everything needed.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Quick stay at Days Inn--Statesville"
Ok motel. Office is separate from motel rooms and entire property looks rundown. Room was clean though and was convenient for a one night stay. Can be tricky to get to though because Gaither Road may be entered by an on-ramp so took a few minutes to figure that out. Restaurants are within short driving distance. Basic room for cheap price if not looking […] for anything special. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Roches, dead and alive, all over bathroom floor and carpeting. Roach eggs in the linen. And it's funny that I went to the Sleep Inn by the GPS's accident, and the man there said if I was dissatisfied with the condition of the Days Inn, to come back. He then smiled at me and said that I'd probably be back.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"In a pinch"
The experience with the front desk was quite ordinary. The condition of the room was horrible. A strong smell of disinfectant was evident as soon as the door was opened. There was a roach (thankfully dead) in the bathroom. The bed was hard as a board and the pillows were so firm that my neck was kept at a severe angle all night long.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Reasonably priced and clean"
This was the most reasonable priced place with a pool and WIFI we could find. The rooms were clean and the staff was very pleasant. The hotel and pool need renovation and the WIFI is slow.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Good and clean. Good breakfast. Room is good and the service is nice.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Inexpensive motel and what I expected for the pay"
Managers/Owners were MOST pleasant and helpful. I give them a 10 out of 10!Genuine Expedia guest review
"was just ok"
The room could have used a good scrubbing.. The chairs in the room were pretty dirty however, the bed was comfortable and clean. Not the best we ever stayed at, not the worst...Most likely won't be repeat business from us although the staff was very helpful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

The people are friendly, room was clean, bed was comfortable, breakfast ok but I can't eat any wheat products, so a hard boiled egg would have been nice. I appreciated the yogurt. There was a hole in the underlayment of the floor right in front of the sink in room 126. It was covered with carpeting but if a person with gait problems encountered this hole, they may have fallen.

The check in and check out was easy and simple. No issues with anything in the room. The continental breakfast fits the description. The room was clean and nice. It smelled normal, no odors. The WiFi worked. Best thing was the quietness, no noisy neighbors. Least thing i liked was we were at the end room and someone kept parking at the end spot and I didn't like the pillows. They felt too big and i couldn't sleep on it well.

The staff were very friendly, great room service, good location, clean and quiet room, big comfortable bed, a little frige and microwave, coffee maker, swimming pool and free breakfast. Can,t beat it! We can't wait to come back.

We recently stayed at the Days Inn in Statesville and the room was dingy, smelled like a pool and had no cable. The TV is an old clunker of a unit and it was like watching PBS through a snow storm. The channels had to be selected by typing them in because the channel up/down button didn't work. We didn't even bother to complain because it was one night in a dump of a hotel that was 66 bucks. You get what you pay for, uncomfortable beds and pillows. I didn't see any gross violations but I would probably choose another place next time. Even the guy who worked the desk was talking crap about the hotel. Up to you to do what you want with your money, at least you should know what to expect.

Good basic hotel. The room was clean. I did appreciate that they had a waffle maker with the free breakfast.
"Very Friendly, Quiet, Clean Rooms"
06/04/14 123pooh Hernando, Florida
Paresh was very friendly upon check-in. He was very friendly accepting the motel coupon from the book we pickup at the welcome center. We had two rooms, one for ourselves and one for my mom and dad. Both rooms were clean and the best were comfortable. All the towels and wash clothes were very clean and fairly new. Outside doors so we were able to back up to the room. The breakfast buffet was very clean, with pastries, waffles, oatmeal, cereal, Dannon yogurt, and good coffee and orange juice. We will stay here again on our next trip through.
"traveling with a toddler"

The air conditioning or fan was not on upon entry of the room. This was rather stuffy and uncomfortable after travelling all day. The pool was also put off service and was not noted on the web site. The lobby smelled like curry, which was just a little overpowering on entry. The clerk did not get out of the back room to give or offer a receipt upon check out. Wireless internet did not work and the clerk was unable to assist in connecting to it.
"The Bates Motel"

Back a dark road, smelly carpet and room. I was to tired to find another hotel. I travel with my dogs and there was no dog walking area..the closest grass area was littered with cigarette butts. I will be traveling this route regularly and this hotel is on my do not go there again,EVER list!!
"Odour - Springing floor"
04/30/14 Rodrigue O Statesville
Very bad - Very persisting bad Spray Odour to hide what ??? - The floor in the unit is springing - The office and the outside surroundings are dirty and not inviting - Xmas lights still in an outside window, etc.,- Radio not working !! We got there late and could not move !! Very bad for Day's INN
04/21/14 Rick M Spartanburg
This is an older Days Inn property, but well-maintained. The room was clean and quiet despite being situated next to an interstate. We were pleased that the budget price included a continental breakfast. If you need a one or two night stay in the Statesville area, and don't want to spend a mint, this Days Inn will foot the bill.
