Very comfortable for the most part. Breakfast lacked protein but bagels and fruit plentiful. Smoking areas too close to exits. Parking lot fairly secure. Towel shortage apparent - only had 1 towel per person in the room and none at the pool. Very convenient to the university.

The room was very clean and comfy. I wouldn't try to check in before 4pm though as housekeeping seem a little overwhelmed. They do a super job though. Neighborhood a little rough, but ok, and the Denny's down the street is great.

My stay was wonderful. The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff was phenomenal especially Don. The location was beautifully centralized to where all my business trips were. I will stay here again.

Reasonably good value for the price, good location near UC Northridge, but looks like a dodgy neighborhood otherwise. Only thing, tried checking in at 1 pm, told no check in till 3 pm. Really?? What if you have traveled for 24-28 hours from the other side of Australia like I often have and you are desperately tired. The 3 PM 'rule' is WAY too inflexible, […] surely there is a room available at most hotels at 1.15 pm. NO, I was told to go for a drive while till 3 pm, pretty lame. Also, get some more tables for breakfast, 3 to serve a whole hotel is pathetic. Otherwise reasonable, but treat people with some respect and with their travel needs taken care of, not the silly application of your inflexible "rules". Read more

Needed a place to stay visiting our son at CSUN. Relatively close. Complaints re: sirens may be related to the fire station across the street. Overall a very nice hotel. Personnel very helpful. Room actually very nice. Secure gated parking. Will definitely stay here again when visiting our son.

The room was completely fine. The ac unit in the room did sound like a truck shifting from 3rd to 4th gear though. I stayed two days and ever y morning I had to go to the front desk to get a new key card cause mine didn't work. The manager even came up to my room the second day to try himself and it didn't work for him either. So, I don't know what […] the issue is with that. When people walked in the one of the rooms next to mine you could feel it through the floor of my room. The neighborhood is ok. Like a working class area. There is an automotive and tire shop next door and apartments surround the back area of the hotel. All that being said the staff are very friendly and helpful and the room is clean and nice. Decent location, stayed here once before 2 years ago, didn't have a problem. Parking lot is enclosed and can only be opened with a key card, I personally liked that. Personnel was great.

Hotel staff was really helpful. The hotel does not have a business center or computer access for guests, but the young man on the desk accessed and printed boarding passes for us. The breakfast buffet included only bagels, bread, danish, and cold cereal--not completely satisfying. The neighborhood is commercial. The neighborhood wasn't scary, but it was iffy and sirens were heard throughout the night. The breakfast offering was OK if you can eat bread, sugar, and carbs. There was not one protein offering on their buffet. Hotel was clean, in good repair, and staff was very courteous.

I couldn't sleep till 3: 00 AM cause someone kept walking upstairs and it sounded like thunder, if you do have to stay here, make sure don't stay on the first floor. Location is OK, Nothing fancy , just a very basic hotel, won't recommend .

The motel was clean, but the location wasn't great. Not a lot around it in regards to restaurants or things to do. The surrounding neighborhood was not very nice. I had to travel about 5 miles to find a good place to eat. It is very close to CSU Northridge. Not a lot of amenities, the person at the front desk was nice.

We were placed in a room next to the pool, which was fine except it was a Friday night and there were people in the pool and jaccuzzi until 2AM. I needed to get rest for a conference the next day. The walls were very thin and the couple upstairs stayed up until 6am taking showers and stomping around the room. The heater was also ridiculously loud. Needless […] to say, I got no sleep. The coffee maker in the room made 2 weak cups that weren't drinkable so we headed to the lobby. At 7:30 AM they were out of coffee and no one was around making more. This hotel was excellent, especially for the low cost. Heat worked, shower was hot, bed comfortable and all amenities were excellent, including kind desk clerk Nir who gave patient service getting me signed in and woken up! Only drawback is thin walls--overhead noise above my room woke me up-- so bring ear plugs to avoid.

This definitely wasn't my first choice hotel, but the price was decent. It was pretty quiet at night but in the morning...what a joke!!! Kids and parents yelling and running through the halls. Will never stay here again!!!! It is convienantly located near alot of things in walking distance.

I stayed on a weekday and called ahead of time to inquire about an early check-in and was told, not before 2:30pm. I showed up at 3pm to check-in and was told that the room was not ready for check-in. Then when another customer showed up at 3:10pm he was told the same??? I waited until 3:30pm and was then checked in. During the whole process of arriving, […] and checking in, the attitude and non caring customer service was made very aware. I think that this is a family owned hotel and they lack in customer service and the desire to provide an on time friendly service to their guests. The room was somewhat clean and presentable for what I would call a 2 1/2 star hotel and at the above rental room cost to stay for a one day stay! You can hear everything. Kids running around and screaming. I was woken up at 2:35am from a women screaming she pay cash for four nights take your hands off me. It was hard to fall back to sleep. Other then that the workers are nice and it's clean. Beds are comfortable but pillows not.
