Hotel was clean and well maintained. Surrounding downtown neighborhood might be a little sketchy; but I never felt in danger or concerned. Rate was good. Only weakness was the wireless Internet - moved extremely slow and was not useable for things like Facebook..

Stayed for the weekend in January to visit friends in Superior. The rooms were decent and clean. Large pool area with sauna, pool and hot tub. Hot tub wasn't that great.... not very hot and only a few jets seemed to be working. My wife said that the sauna was good and nice and hot. There is a good restaurant in the hotel and a bar that we didn't check out.... We only had breakfast at the restaurant, but, we enjoyed it very much!! The waitress was very friendly and entertaining!! Our breakfast was very good and there was lots of choices.. Would stay here again!!

I was satisfied with the service, cleanliness and definitely the continental breakfast. As you know, it's always a crapshoot when staying at a... hotel--sometimes the neighbors are good, sometimes they're not. We had a herd of elephants spending the night directly above us. Of course you get more and more irritated as you lay in bed listening to something like that. Ultimately it was these obnoxious guests who were at fault. But my mind wandered to, "man, these hotel rooms are not insulated from sound very well." The reality is that these elephants probably would have bothered me or anyone else at a five-star hotel. The Hotel was clean, comfortable and one of the nicest I have stayed in. The location is right on the lake walk and right by all the fun things at Canal Park. Very good continental breakfast. 24 hour coffee! The check in staff was friendly and efficient. On the weekends, the price is probably higher but well worth it!

We loved the location and the hotel service was very good. The pool was nice and the breakfast was great. Our queen room was a bit cramped with 3 small children, and the beds were a bit too soft for our liking, but overall we enjoyed our stay.

The hotel was decent. We turned down the bed and found black hair in it. We also didn't have a remote in our room and to top it off, the blow dryer broke midway through use. The location did make up for it however.

The hotel was what I expected and i felt it was priced fairly. Our room was clean and had nice furnishings. We wanted to take advantage of the indoor pool since March is brisk in Duluth. Burrrrrrrr!, we quickly changed our minds as the water was really cold. All the other guests either left the pool area or got in the hot tub. The breakfast was better […] than expected, with a lot of variety. However, they should consider moving the waffle maker from the middle of the main counter as it creates a bottleneck in the flow as guests stand in the way waiting for their waffle to finish cooking(make sure nobody takes my waffle!) which prevents the line from moving. Booked the hotel for a business trip. Checked in to a lovely quite and comfortable room. Returned at night to find a large group of teens staying in the hotel. Very loud (my room was close to the lobby and it was loud), went to sit in Sauna and found pre-teens unchaperoned, behaving very inappropriately around small children. Rooms weren't well insulated […] and thus teens above me could be heard well into the night. Hotel location is very easy, surrounding meal options are great. Overall I wish young teen groups would be managed better, and business guests would be "warned' at the time of booking. Read more

Our stay was just what we wanted!!! We enjoyed all the activities in the area. Wish we could have gotten into the pool but it was very busy for there was hockey tournaments and so there were lots of kids. We will try and get there at another time to avoid that next time. I stayed here with my husband over New Year's Eve and went snowboarding in Duluth. It was a very nice hotel in a great location within walking distance of all the places in canal park. The breakfast was really good. Better then your typical continental breakfast. The hotel was very nice and clean. The pool and hot tub were nice. Only bad thing was that […] the beds weren't very comfortable and we could hear everything our neighbors were doing. We went with our 5 month old son and had a great time! The hotel is very welcoming and clean. We will definitely be going back next summer with our friends. Right next to canal park and Lake Superior. Restaurants and stores in walking distance.

Great view of the harbor. Could see the ships coming into port. Good location to restaurants. Shuttle just at the end of the block for transport to Bentleyville.

Great service! When we arrived at 12:30,we were allowed to check in early, which was awesome. Front desk was nice. Loved the room though it was a little small. Paid extra for lake view. Not necessary and definitely wouldn't next time even though it was nice. The pool is pretty small. Excellent continental breakfast! Great location for shopping / dining […] etc. Read more
