Very comfortable and accomodating. The only bothersome thing was that there was one door that separated the main room from the kitchenette area and bathroom, but the door really should have separated the bathroom part from the kitchenette area. I had a pleasant stay. There were only a few minor details: a lamp by the bed wasn't working but there was plenty of light in the room, the TV over the fireplace made a weird sound that rendered it unusable (we didn't want to use it anyways) but the TV by the bed worked fine, one lamp in the sitting area had a light bulb with a different color temperature […] than the rest of the lights (us photographers notice things like this), there was no garbage can in the sitting area but there were three others in the room, and the refreigerator didn't have a freezer. All are minor things. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the couch and lounge chair in the sitting room were also very comfortable, the fireplace made some nice ambience, the wireless internet connection was fast (the room also had wired internet but I didn't try it), other than a few voices from the pool during the day (our room was near the lobby and overlooked the pool) it was very quiet. This was our first time in Sedona. I'd say that the location of Sedona Real Inn & Suites was the #1 reason why someone would want to stay there. No, it's not a full service resort. It's just far enough away from the "touristy" stuff to get a feel for what Sedona's all about. Beautiful Double Queen Suite! Clean and spacious, fire place. Vending machine was located outside from our room, so that was a little noisy, but it didn't cause us to lose sleep. This is a nice hotel with many helpful staff to lead us in the right direction. My only complaint was having to carry our luggage up to the 2nd floor. There was no elevator. Had a really nice romantic getaway for a weekend with my husband. Last time we were here was 2007. Loved our experience then and now. This place is really nice for a midrange hotel. I have stayed there before and it has been a good experience. It's always clean, comfortable and they have a nice breakfast. I wish their pool was heated so I could stretch out after a long day of hiking. The hot tub is great.

We needed extra blankets b/c we were there when it snowed and was 15 degrees out. No extra blankets in room, had to ask for them. Suggestion: put a couple of blankets in the room closet. No comforter on bed -- just a thin brown blanket.

We asked for an upgrade to have a larger room. No big deal. Very easy and accomodating. Great location. Breakfast was nice. Rooms were not super modern, but hey, you won't spend much time in them! Everything was clean and seemed very well run. They even helped us with some sightseeing maps.

I enjoyed my King Suite w/fireplace. The fireplace was in working order and quickly heated our room on a cold rainy night. The suite was large and accommodating. The hotel could improve the room with higher quality bedding and a better shower head.

Pros: This hotel was very nice. The kids loved it. We went there in December and used the free coffee and tea water for hot cocoa and coffee in the hot tub during the cold night we were there. I am glad I chose this place over the Sedona Summit (for less then half the price) that I had a Groupon on that wasn't honored because of a blackout date. Cons: The room I got for 3 kids and 2 adults (2 queens) was a but small. The guy at the counter also recommended the pizza place across end street, which was a total rip-off. The price was very expensive, the pizzas were tiny, and they weren't even that good. They must get some time of referral bonus. I summary, the "cons" I listed were very minimal. This hotel was very nice, the staff was extremely friendly, the hot breakfast was very good, and the rooms were clean. The pool was also very clean and it wasn't even in use, so I am sure this place is great in the summer. I would recommend to families, couples, etc. Read more

I've stayed here twice this past year. The staff is very customer oriented. This free daily breakfast is also a convrnient and great option. My only complaint is that the bathtub/shower handle broke off but was repaired at my convenience. All the basic needs..... even a telephone in the bathroom.....Flat screen TV, refrig, microwave, coffee pot, hair dryer. A full breafast in dining room from 7- 10:00 AM. ... quiet location at the west end of Sedona ( a little far from downtown) but gr8 scenery and many good restaurants.

The housekeeping didn't clean the room one day and didn't let us new towels or take away the trash. We were staying in a suite room with five people and one bathroom and couldn't understand the way we were treated.
