I have stayed at this hotel three times now and all three times have been a great experience. The staff is very friendly! The hotel is clean and close to nearby resturants and stores. I had to call the front desk three times about my room. The first time was because there was no microwave in my room. The staff had my room changed immediately. I was upsairs and the smell of smoke was really bad from peolpe smoking, but my room was ok. They have a great breakfeast and started at a time that I needed to eat. Also have a great Mexican restaurant.

The room smelled like stale cigarettes. Horrible! Thank God I brought my own blanket, because I spent the whole night with the blanket over my head to avoid the smell. The rooms should be updated. Not worth the price that was charged. Never Again!

This was my second stay at this hotel. The first time I stayed it was with a dog and though the hotel needs some updating it was fine. I stayed recently without the dog and hoped the rooms would be better as often hotel rooms for pets are designated. The hotel has an obvious issue with moisture as the halls have dehumidifiers placed and there is a pervasive […] smell of dampness. The carpeting is damp underfoot and everything in the room just seemed humid. The staff was wonderful however attempting to do anything possible to make our stay pleasant. I think it may not be possible to fix the moisture issue as it is a large property and the hotel needs extensive serious refurbishing to be improved. Read more

I understand that you get what you pay for. All in all I thought the hotel was well maintained ... a little worn (blankets were sorely in need of replacement and carpeting was what you'd expect in a busy mid-range hotel). I found a heavy layer of what appeared to be construction dust on the tops of the beds (easily seen) and on flat surfaces such as […] desk and dresser. There appeared to be no construction going on however. We just stayed one evening, arriving late, so we only used our room and the breakfast area. Again, the food was standard fare, and just fine, but the restaurant (Mexican) that was in the hotel proper had really sticky floors (our sneakers and sandals made a sucking sound when we walked near the buffet area) and the coffee machines appeared to have been marked and lightly repaired with duct tape, making me question how clean the coffee urns really were. As we were still traveling quite awhile, and I wanted to avoid Montezuma's Revenge, we had our coffee elsewhere and only ate sealed food, such as fresh fruit and yogurt. I think the staff works hard to maintain the busy hotel, but there simply may not be enough to keep up with the mess that travelers seem to leave behind them! Read more

We stayed in the Aberdeen LaQuinta overnight so we didn't have to drive home after a concert at the Proving Ground. We booked a king bed, non-smoking room but were placed in a double bed, smoking/pet room. It smelled like dog pee and the carpets, couch and bed were all soaking wet. Also, it was clear that the bathroom had not been cleaned in some time. When we told the front desk, they didn't apologize, but offered to move us to a different room. They also asked […] if we felt they should clean the 1st room before checking it out to another guest. Given the room was soaking wet, smelled of dog pee and had a dirty bathroom - of course they should clean it!!! The 2nd room was non-smoking, but had 2 double beds and everything was still soaking wet and dirty. Again the hotel front desk did not apologize but only said that they have a problem with humidity. Beware...what a dump...room smelled like urine...lights in bathroom malfuntioned. The AC didnt work properly. Wish there was something positive to say but then i would be lying . I stay hotels 3 - 4 times a month and this a genuine review . Stay next door at holiday inn or Hilton . What a waste of time and money.

The person that checked us in was very nice and friendly. The check out lady not so much. The rooms are a good size, and the breakfast was nice too. Would have liked to have less noisy neighbors, but I guess you have no control over how parents are with their children. Other than that I would definitely stay there again.
