"Great Highway Site"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 1, 2012
This highway property is at a Motorway Gas Stop just outside of Warwick. We found our executive Double Room very comfortable, It was spacious and the bath was super. For a fast food dinner and breakfast we went next door to the food court where there was a KFC, Burger King, 2 other and mini-market plus Starbucks. The next morning we were on our way. Interent and Free Parking made it even better.
"Great location and fun staff"Reviewed by Norman T of "Dallas" on Apr 14, 2012
Super convenient... really enjoyed Lloyd who made things fun in the bar...comfortable and great option...
"Nice stay"Reviewed by Chelsea A of "San Francisco, CA" on Apr 12, 2012
The hotel is very centrally located and has a car park (that you have to pay to park in). Wifi is available, you also pay for that. The lobby is very nice with multiple fireplaces where you can have drinks, dine, or enjoy afternoon day (prices seemed reasonable to us). Very short walk to RSC theatres, restaurants, shops, etc. The room was huge that we stayed in, not sure if that is typical, but it was nice. No complaints except they didn't really tell us we needed to pay for parking. The parking cost wasn't bad though.
"Ibis Birmingham Airport"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Mar 30, 2012
For those travelling to attend NEC, this is the best located hotel for you. With a good restaurant, bar in hotel and 24 hrs restaurant in the Airport, nothing like Ibis. Good luck..
"A beautiful getaway in a beautiful location."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Mar 28, 2012
It was a beautiful setting, a great photo opportunity, a fantastic back yard to enjoy an English tea, and nice modern rooms. All the staff were so nice. We had a great experience sleeping in a castle and hope to return some time.

"Our Night out."
The Wife and i had booked to see the musical Oliver at The Birmingham Hip,and the Ibis was nearest and fortunately best value on the day. We paid extra for a breakfast which more than adaquet and bags of choice,(yummie) This Hotel would always be our 1st option because of its location, so close to shops and markets. Thanks IBIS.

"Ibis Birmingham city centre"
So convenient if you wan to be near the Arcadian or the city centre. Room was cleaned daily and was deffo worth the money. I would stay here again.

"Take some ear plugs"
This hotel was clean and convienient but very noisy. My room was opposite a noisy night club. The music only really started about 10pm by this time I was already unpacked and in bed so was reluctant to request to be moved. Wouldn't stay there again because of the location next to numerous noisy night clubs and bars.
"very convenient to station and all public transpor"
. staff very freindly. clean and comfortable rooms, for week end . downside ,not enough wardrobe space, and towels too small and very thin.need more . Overall good hotel, and would stay again
"Great Staff - Worst Location Ever"
The staff are excellent and genuinely interested in pleasing its members. Unfortunately they have an impossible task. The hotel is immediately above two nightclubs which rage until 2am. I was there on a Wednesday night and it didn't stop me from having a bad experience and no peace. If you are on the wrong side of the hotel you will not get the sleep […] you would like. Which is what I personally was paying for. Again, the staff was lovely to deal with, but the location was horrible and city planning really shouldn't have allowed that particular combination to exist. It also makes me wonder what happens in those rooms on weekends! Read more
"Handy for Bullring and New Street"
The hotel staff are very polite and accomodating. but didnt offer to help us with our numerous bags. BOTH lifts were out of order for 80% of our stay, meaning not only did we have to lug our cases up from the carpark but also up 5 flights of stairs too! The Bathroom was "compact" but clean and the shower was a little lack lustre but for the price we […] paid for the room i wasnt about to start moaning!! unfortunately the noise from the nearby arcadian square is very intrusive, consequently i didnt sleep well- but the bed was VERY comfy so i am sure i would have slept fabulously if it was not a noisy Friday night. We had not booked breakfast, but we went downstairs on Satuday AM and it smelled delicious, we asked if we could pay to eat there and were told a flat NO, so it pays to think ahead there! Read more

"Lot of noise"
In the evening until late in the night there was a lot of noise / music coming from a nearby place of entertainment.

"Ibis Birmingham City Centre"
The hotel was central, and it was easy to get to the Bullring from there. However, that was the only good thing about it. The room was poky. We paid for breakfast on arrival - but for £5 each, there was nothing for vegetarians, and only a bit of fruit and cereal that we could eat - my partner didn't have anything. What a waste of money! The key card […] to our room kept discharging, and we had to go back down from the third floor to reception to get it working again. Not the best hotel experience we've had! Read more

"Ibis. Birmingham City Centre"
Great location for a night in Birmingham, loads of reasonable parking nearby. Room was small, but clean and functional. Good value hot & cold buffet breakfast. Would stay again.
I only had 1 complaint about my stay and that was that the bar was very badly stocked they had no Rose wine, no gin, no brandy, this was a Friday night so they lost a lot of custom.
"Ibis Birmingham"
Visited Brum for the Christmas markets/shopping the hotel is a short walk from the market stalls and shops. The hotel is basic but this is reflected in the cost, there is a car park across the road which cost £12.50 for 24 hours, I had an enjoyable stay and will use again.
"Hotel IBIS- cheap, cheerful and clean"
I stayed in the Hotel Ibis because of an evening work event in the nearby Arcadian Centre. Location-wise it is ideal for this venue and more generally, situated in China Town, is well placed for central Birmingham as a whole. The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly. The hotel room was on the small side, but not uncomfortably so. The shower-room […] was nice and clean and the bed comfortable, ensuring a good nights sleep! Certainly, as a room to sleep in in (rather than stay in) I found staying at the Ibis very pleasant and good value for money. Read more
"Ibis, Birmingham City Centre"
Couldn't be more centrally located - New St Station a five minute walk away.
"Does exactly what it says..."
The Ibis is great for what you get. It's cheap and don't expect anything more. I was surprised, however, when I arrived at the hotel to check in to be sheepishly told that the double room I had booked was no longer available because they "had run out of double beds" and instead I was put into a very small room with even smaller than your average single […] bed. No offer of compensation or apology was on offer and because I had nowhere else to go, well... The room itself was fine a part from the hobbit sized beds. It was clean, the bathroom was disinfected and tea and coffee were there (naturally I abused this fact and drank it all!) Although one major issue I have with this hotel is that it's so loud. There's obviously clubs and pubs close by and I could have had a rave in my room with the music pumping from the neighbouring establishment. Also the room - room sound barrier is also pretty lacking and the couple next door were having a great time! But as I say, you pay for what you get and in terms of needing one night on business it's not that bad as long as you take it for what it is, a budget hotel! It's close to the train station and there's plenty of restaurrants close by if you fancy a bite, or if you wanted to shop the bull ring is a stone's throw. All in all it ain't that bad but I wouldn't say for people to stay there for longer than the one night and definitely not for a getaway with your beloved! Read more
clean, cheap, great location
"Isis Birmingham"
Having read the reviews about noisy rooms I was slightly worried when I booked this room but hoped for the best. I am happy to say it outdid a;; my expectations. The location is great. Only a few minuets walk to the Bullring and The Arcadian centre with many restaurants just behind the building. There is a car park directly opposite with very reasonable […] prices. The reception area was spacious and bright and staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and very clean. As there are nightclubs in the Arcadian centre I expected some noise however there was nothing until about 11pm and then it was very faint - certainly not enough to stop me sleeping. I would say that we stayed in November - the weather was chilly so no need to open the windows, which might have resulted in more noise. Overall a very pleasant stay. I would certainly stay again. "Overlooks nosiy bars and nightclubs"
I picked this hotel for its proximity to New Street station (5 mins walk). The hotel and rooms are fine until I heard the music from the bars and clubs which the hotel overlooks. Even with the windows shut and ear plugs in, the music was a problem. It continued until 3am. Hence, I would say that this hotel is fine if you are planning a night out in […] Birmingham, but if you want a good night's sleep go elsewhere. Read more
"Bargain Location Location Location"
Bargain priced hotel in a very handy location, close to the Arcadian, mailbox, digbeth etc so great for a night out. Breakfast is extra but worth the money. If you are looking for a quiet night sleep probably not the best choice but ideal for a night out or a meal in the city.

"Birmingham Hotel"
This was so dissapointing The rooms twin single beds were too narrow - we are not big people either I resent the charges to use basic thing like free to air TV I understand you want to make money from movies and Internet a £10 fee I expect to have the basic items free in my room like a a box of tissues - a small shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom […] and 2 small soaps for 2 persons not just one i also expect to have 2 towells per person to use for an evening shower after a long trip and a morning shower I did not like the extra fee put on the breakfast charges £ 10 for 2 if you prepaid but almost 50 % if you paid in the morning Later that day we went into a small local pub called the Wellington In their toilets for ladies was FREE tissues / hygiene products / wrapped sweets and fresh flowers And that a pub !!! Come on IBIS LETS HAVE A BETTER VALUE for out dollar when staying in your hotel We will not be using IBIS ever again Caroline and Tanya Read more
"ibis birmingham"
we requested a cot but couldnt get one for 24 hrs, the shower drain was blocked and couldnt be rectified, we changed rooms 24 hrs later. to be fair they were full. DO NOT get a room at the back of the hotel as the clubs and pubs which are on that side churn out loud music until at least 2am. breakfast was great, especially for the price. very good value […] buffet although staff were slow to clear tables etc, i had to ask for clean plates and cutlery on 3 occasions, ran out of milk twice.no attention to detail in the restaurant.! overall you get what you pay for but on this stay i think there was a staffing issue- or training need. "Ibis birminghman city centre"
The room was a bit small therefore I wouldn't stay for a long term but for a short stay I would stay in the same place again as the location was so great, staff were all nice, it may not be the 5 star hotel but it was clean and tidy and the best of all breakfast was great as you could get so many different things as much as you want!!! The security […] was good which was quite important for me as I had a baby with me. Read more
"Great Location but Noisy"
A really good base to get around in Birmingham. Good bus links to Edgbaston and The balti Triangle. Clean hotel, good breakfast for £5, helpful staff. The only downside was that the room was very noisy at night even with the windows shut. There is party central with banging music and late night revellors outside so take earplugs. Lots of party goers […] coming back through thr night being noisy too. Read more
"Ibis Birmingham City Centre"
Clean and fairly recently decorated, this is a no frills option with surprisingly good facilities. Decent shower, comfortable mattress, 24 hour reception / food/ bar. If you can get in cheap and are only looking for a place to sleep I can't imagine you'd find better
"Ibis Ladywell Walk Birmingham"
Very pleasant 2 days stay. Friendly hepful staff. Excellent breakfast - great value at £5.00. Ideally placed for easy walking within the city to many attractions. No noise at night. Building work opposite not an issue. Look forward to staying there again.
"Ibis Birmingham centre - clean and good"
We booked two rooms for two nights and found it very good value. The location is ideal for all attractions with the Bullring only about 400 yards away. Good, clean rooms, good breakfast. Easy and pleasant all round. Very good value.

"Great location, clean if a wee bit noisy!"
The hotel is located very centrally so great for shops (Bullring 3mins walk away) and other bits. Our room was compact and clean. There is a night club basically below the hotel so it is pretty noisy if you have the window open but its not awful- what was awful however was the breakfast we paid extra as it wasn't included in the price and the cooked […] bit was definately lacking! There were no clean tables, plates or forks and no one seemed to be in charge of the breakfast area so we had to wait a while for a plate ect before we could tuck in! I would reccomend going and having a breakfast elsewhere. The price of the hotel redeems it and its location plus check out isn't till 12 so perfext if you've had a late one the night before ;) Read more
"good position"
As long as you dont mind a bit of music into the early hours, this hotel is excellently situated to the bullring, shops bars and restaurants. Being close to the china town area too. Good basic hotel which is comfortable and just what you want for a weekend break. very reasonably priced, would definately stay again if we went to Birmingham.
"Ibis Birmingham City Centre"
Excellent location for shops and all facilities. Good reasonably priced breakfast and parking available off road. Would recommend this hotel. Good value for money.
This hotel is highly recommended and is in the middle of Chinatown and close to a lot of good bars and restaurants. I would recommend it highly for its location and service.
"IBIS Bermingham city center"
The hotel's location is a major plus, but i wouldn't recommed staying in the weekends as the surrounding is very noisy upto early hrs. Shower is very poor, hardly any pressure in the water

"IBIS BIRMINGHAM UK"
Good value for money but would not bother with the breakfast again.
"IBIS Birmingham-good central position"
Very pleasant. Convenient for shopping, restaurants and lively bars. We selected this hotel as it is very close to the Hippodrome, with car parking close by; however it was rather noisy when we went to bed, as our room overlooked the Arcadian bars. It was ok though, when we closed the window. We will definitely use this hotel again.
Usual quality that you would expect from an Ibis Hotel... room clean and functional. No fancy stuff, but quite adequate. However, the room was SOOOO noisy, right above a night-club. This finally closed at 2am, followed by 1 and half hours of noisy revellers leaving. Unless you're in this area clubing for a stag/hen night out, I would suggest you give […] this particular Ibis a MISS!!!!! Read more

"Plain Noisy"
I don't expect too much from Budget Hotels, but I do expect a decent nights sleep. This Hotel is situated almost on top the Arcadian Centre which at the weekend attracts large numbers to the restaurants and the NIGHT CLUBS. The two nights I had to stay there was spent listening to the contant dull thump rising up from the Night Club and its revellers. […] You can expect peace and quiet at about 3.30 am. The room was very cramped with the front door almost hitting the bed. Honestly you can do better than this in centre of the city. Read more

"IBIS CENTRAL BIRMINGHAM"
Hotel room was warm and the bed comfortable. After reading other reviews I took earplugs just as a precaution and used them as well because it was noisy outside - mostly the police sirens and tooting car horns! That said we enjoyed the convenience and the comfort of this budget hotel.

A nice modern hotel , the room was very clean , the bedclothes were crips & clean + the internet was available in room , you could use the hotel internet & there was a connection that you could connect to your own Laptop . all in all a pleasent stay
"IBIS BIrmingham City Centre"
We stayed in the Ibis Birmingham for one night whilst visiting friends in the city. The hotel was perfect for our needs as all we really wanted was somewhere easy and inexpensive to lay our heads. The staff were friendly, the bed and bathroom was clean and apart from the noise late at night from a nearby club there was no fault.
