"Charming hotel in need of some TLC"
The hotel is in need of upkeep. The carpet was dirty and we had a toilet back up so they promptly changed us to the room next door. Staff was nice and price was affordable, location was good. I think with a few updates this hotel could really be charming.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great experience!"
This hotel was a perfect small walk from Bourbon Street. We had a one bed room with balcony. It was a great experience. The conteninteial breakfast was very basic, but good enough to get you up and going. The courtyard and pool were small, but still very useful. The staff were all friendly and the lobby and parking lot were monitored for safety and […] assistance. I would definitely use this hotel again. Very charming and quiet. The staff were awesome. Especially Troy the front desk person. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Going back next year and staying there again!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Let down..."
Knowing I was staying in the French Quarter at an older hotel my expectations weren't terribly high, but I was still dissapointed. This hotel needs some major TLC and renovations. My room was quite small, kind of musty smelling/feeling, and desperately outdated. The front desk guy was pretty rude and treated us like we were a major inconvience. I would […] not stay here again, although I will say that it isn't a roach motel by any means and is in a pretty good location. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"An experience we won't forget..."
The room we had was great for 4 girls-there were 2 full beds and a day bed, but the bathroom left A LOT to be desired. The toilet was inches away from the sink (you had to sit sideways on it) and the shower spray was barely enough to get wet. We had to fetch our own toilet paper each day. While I won't be staying here again, the location was good - […] close enough to everything to to go back to the room to drop stuff off, but not so close as to be loud. "A true taste of Southern Hospitality"
It's an older hotel. Our room was very small, but quaint. Bathroom was very, very small. But our friend's room next door was quite roomy, so I guess it's the luck of the draw. Housekeeping did a wonderful job tidying up each day. The staff was very welcoming and accomodating. They were extremely friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to […] anyone who could appreciate the true New Orleans experience! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"A great bargin"
Great location and a great price with free parking. If you are looking to stay in the French Quarter and get a feel for what the French Quarter is all about I would highly recommend this hotel. I plan to stay there again the next time I visit New Orleans.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Dropping off at college."
The hotel was well located , old but clean. The room was basic but fine. Limited parking so had to pay for parking at another location. The night man at the front desk was very helpful. The servers in the breakfast room where surly. Breakfast was basic but helped get the day going. Had to ask for toilet pape even though roll was near empty no extra […] was left. I know thats a little thing but... Got what i paid for i guess but won't stay there again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Parking"
The room was small! I had to move the bed so I could easily open and close the door. There was almost no parking so I had to pay $28/day to park at another hotel 4 blocks away.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

location and service made up for the the small room, but then again, we didnt pay a ton for it either,,,,Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Better than expected for the price."
It was as I expected--small, quaint hotel with a clean room and good ambience. I would stay here in the future. Make sure to get there early if you want a free parking spot. Good location for the price.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Quaint New Orleans Style"
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Quaint New Orleans style setting. Definetely a plus on free parking. Hotel was close in walking distance to the French Market, French Quarters restaurants and shopping. Would definetly stay here again. Only negative is that the room did not have room darkening shades or curtains. The lights from the patio and pool […] area shone right into our room. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Neat Hotel"
The Hotel St. Pierre is in a very convenient location. It was only a couple of blocks from Bourbon St. and the French Market. It was quiet, quaint, had lovely furnishings, and had a very helpful staff. Our room had French doors opening onto the pool area. The hotel served a simple continental breakfast. The one thing that I liked best about this hotel […] is that the parking was free. They own a small parking lot across the street from the hotel. In the past, we have always paid over $20 a night to park our car. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Hotel St. Pierre! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

Staff was unfriendly. Bed was uncomfortable. Room was very dark & had only 1 chair. We won't stay there again.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good location, not good hotel"
Although the towels and sheets appeared clean, the rest of the room did not. The carpet was worn, the walls had thick coats of paint, the air vents were thick with dust, the furniture was very worn, the shower head was rusty and the shower walls were stained and coming away from the walls. We interacted with three different hotel staff members and although […] they were not unfriendly, we never got an explanation of when check-out was, where the breakfast was, how long we could use the parking lot, or anything about the hotel amenities. They basically only answered questions asked but never volunteered ANY information. The parking was limited and tight. It is first come, first served. The location is good for walking to Louis Armstrong park and the French Quarter. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Pictures are deceiving"
Overall our stay was good. The breakfast is nothing to brag about and the coffee was very disappointing! The staff was very nice and friendly with the exception of the lady working the "breakfast". She never spoke a word or gave a smile to a single customer. The pictures of the rooms on the website are very deceiving. "Would you like some Character with your Hotel?"
Hotel St. Pierre is located in a quiet area with an easy ~15min. walk to Bourbon St., Canal St., Frenchman St., the French Market, etc. I was immediately enamored with its charming labyrinth of Vieux Carré houses & courtyards. The staff was quick & helpful. Cleanliness: On the one day I requested housekeeping, I returned to find a note of refusal to […] clean due to "valuables located in an unsecured location." If I had known housekeeping was dependent upon that, I would've put my laptop away. Room comfort: In regards SPECIFICALLY to my room #133 is kept at a frigid temperature & has no thermostat. Condensation formed on the exterior of my door & my sunglasses fogged up for 2min. due to the disparity between my room's & the outdoor's temperatures. It was hard to spend any time in my room without taking shelter under covers. I noticed no condensation on any other doors, so I'm going to assume it is a room-specific problem. The surrounding neighborhood would have gotten a 5 if there had been a few more interesting restaurants & stores immediately nearby, but they honestly weren't too far away. Overall I loved St. Pierre. It was charming, unique and memorable. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Don't believe all of the negatives!!!"
YES it is old, some delay getting hot water, standard problems you get from 250 year old buildings BUT the place has been renovated since many of he negatives. The courtyards are so unique if you like some downtime visiting outdoors. The pools are the perfect size for social time and the rooms are clean with great exposed bricks and original pieces […] from the original building. LOTS of history!!!. And the overall authentic New Orleans charm is unbeatable for he price. Its 2 blocks north of bourbon and brief walk to all of the best places to eat, shop, and historical sites. The staff is phenomenal and upgraded our room to one at the end of he hall which was quiet and peaceful and completely enjoyable at no charge. Any negatives about quality of sheets or the air conditioning has been remedied it was all new or noise we did no notice and it was a HUGE festival weekend. We would absolutely stay there again! "Everything we expected. :)"
Rooms are tiny, but if you do want a real "feel for New Orleans," then stay here. The quaint ambiance you feel when you walk out to the French Quarter is what you will feel when you walk through this hotel's courtyard, and you get the same feeling when you're in the hotel room. Keep in mind that this is no Ritz Carlton. You definitely get what you pay […] for, which is enough if you are spending most of your time out of your hotel. Staff are friendly, but they are not overly cheesy. Great location too if you want to be in the French Quarter but away from the craziness of Burbon Street Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"The Place to be"
This is THE place to stay in New Orleans, if your lucky enough to be able to book there do it! Amazing, historical, a bit haunted and lots of fun. The pool is wonderful, the staff outstanding, and a little bit of paradise all in one. The location is just two blocks from bourbon (with plenty of food and shops in between) and the French market! "Close to Everything but skip their Breakfast..."
The hotel is within walking distance of everything you'd want in NOLA. However plan to walk to breakfast as thats the least desirable part about this hotel... Not really a concern as there are literally 1 billion places to eat out the front door...Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good Location.. Tiny Rooms & Small Pool"
We stayed in a standard room # 146 ..thank goodness it had a balcony.. the room was really small and the carpet was old, frayed, and dirty. The room next to us was being remodeled.. it was smaller than ours. The mattress was decent but the linens, and towels were worn out. Continental breakfast was cereal, breakfast rolls and very lil dixie like cups […] for OJ and Coffee. I would recommend getting one of the higher end rooms... they were renovating one downstairs and it looked pretty decent. I"m sure it would be overpriced though.. The location was great... walking distance to Bourbon St, Jackson Sqaure etc. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Terrible room, great location"
To start, the door to our room had a hole at the bottom that was big enough for a mouse or other critter to crawl through, which had us feeling uneasy the entire time. We eventually had to block the hole with a towel. We complained to the hotel management but there were no other rooms we could switch to, as we "only booked a standard". Secondly, our […] water pressure was practically non existent and when the shower ran a high-pitched squealing noise was made. On top of this the shower curtain was far too short and did not extend below the tub skirt so water pooled on the floor each time we showered. The location was good, and the hotel had a charming exterior. This; however, did not make up for the poor condition of the room and rude staff. We will not stay here again and do not recommend this hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Quiet corner of the Quarter"
This hotel was in a perfect location. Far enough from the rowdiness of Bourbon Street, yet close enough within walking distance to EVERYTHING! I had no problems walking back and forth to the hotel from any one of the destinations in the French Quarter. Only a short 10 minute stroll to the river. I had a minor issue with the shower, but nothing that […] ruined my stay, and hey, the place is like 200 years old. "St. Pierre"
Good location is the only thing going for this dump. Sheets were thread bare. Our initial room was right off of the lobby and you could hear the phone ring and every customer checking in. "a little dissappointed"
Front desk was very helpful! Jon was especially helpful in arranging some activities and tours for us. However, the room was a bit dissapointing. "Dissappointed"
The hotel needs to inform customers that the a/c and heat are not controlled by individual rooms and also needs to inform the customers that parking is very limited and sometimes not possible. For the price per night, a continental breakfast should be served, not just the simple basics. The heater ran constantly the Saturday night we stayed and it […] was cool outside but not that cold, we had to leave our door wide open so that none of us would wake up conjested or wake up not being able to breathe. "IN THE FRENCH QUARTER"
The hotel was charming and the staff was excellent. It is right in the French Quarter and easy walking distance to everything, even for me who has difficulty walking. The ambiance there is wonderful, a sweet little courtyard and two pools. It is in the old Quarter style and not updated, but in the period of the Quarter which I loved. Quiet and private. […] Our only problem was the bed, we knew when we booked it was a double and it was just too small for my husband and me. Would recommend you book a larger bed. It is not a new fancy hotel, which we get more than enough of. I truly enjoyed it and the employees for a change of pace and convenience of location. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Smokers Heaven"
I loved it! Of course, the building is old, but this should be expected in the french quarter. The also have free parking (but limited space) first come, first serve.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great Hotel"
I read many reviews about this hotel, but let me tell you it is a great hotel, if you want somewhere quaint and that looks like New Orleans. No hotel is perfect so you can't expect that. What you can expect is great people to help you, we had a wonderful bed, and room. The breakfast is just what it says a continental not a hot breakfast, so don't think […] that is what you are getting. If you stay in the rooms around the 1st pool like we did you are going to get noise from people comming and going, lets be serious people most everyone down there is going to be drinking so they are not always quiet, nor do they go back to the hotel at 8pm and go right to bed. This is a hotel and you need to expect hotel things to go on. If you want a 5 star hotel then stay at one if you want to experance the french quarter and all the ambience then stay here, it is worth it!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Comfortable"
The staff was very helpful all through the visit. The room was smaller than I had hoped but it was clean and comfortable. The rate was super, for being right in the French Quarter at Mardi Gras time. "Cheap price, but in french quarter"
I stayed at this hotel during Mardi Gras, and it was a nice place for the price and in the French Quarter. "Great location and affordable"
This hotel was great for what we were looking for. The front desk staff was fine - with the exception of one really nice gentleman on Tuesday morning, pretty "just okay." The breakfast was very basic, but good for us who were willing to grab a bagel and coffee and head out. The hotel was clean and comfortable enough, but if you like luxury may not be […] the best for you. Can't say enough about the location. It's a little dated and worn inside, but looks great from the outside. I didnt spend much time in the room or around the grounds, it does have a nice little courtyard.
