Only two complaints: the property leases out the restaurant, bar, and coffeebar spaces and they are not connected. Had to pick up and pay separately for cappucino and bring into restaurant. Front desk tells me property has just changed mgmt with a larger hotel corporation and that will change soon. Slate grey decor in restaurant matched the cloudy weather […] outside and brought the gloom inside. Recommend finding local eateries. Shari's across the street for breakfast. Silver city brewery by the mall was thought to be pricey for pub food but was very good, Hales at the mall was good with slow service. We found to Hotel is be very inviting.was clean and comfortable. Our 2 queen bed room was a little small when staying for several days. Enjoyed the Bay View Room as we do not live near water. It would have been nice to have room service and the food vendors were not always convenient. We would most definitely stay there again if in the area.

The hotel was very nice but the pool and hot tub were down and that was the whole reason I chose the hotel. It was January in Seattle so I knew I needed something to do inside while it rained outside. They did upgrade my Ron to lakefront for free thought. Thank goodness my son had video games to play instead.

Nice staff but no free coffee in the lobby area. Well lit free parking lot near the Silverdale shopping and walking distance to the mall. The waterfront room had a very nice view. The bathroom was tiny but it had everything needed and upgraded finishes. At the moment the hotel is going through a sale and the transition is not going smoothly. We were EXTREMELY disappointed that we had not been notified that the pool and hot tub were closed for maintenance for a month. The hotel said they had informed our booking company and if we had known, we would have changed our hotel to somewhere else. We just […] wanted a nice quiet weekend somewhere where we could relax for our anniversary. Also, the deadbolt on our door didn't work which made me a little uncomfortable. The bed was not very comfortable and the pillows were difficult for us. They kept our head raised too much. We felt like we had to come home and sleep in our own bed to get some decent sleep. My husband and I chose this hotel for our honeymoon. We were a bit disappointed when we showed up and the hotel was under renovations. That's something they should have listed on their website or called and let people know that they were renovating. There was dust and dirt everywhere on our floor and almost constant noise. The bathrooms in our "deluxe suite" were so tiny and cramped you couldn't move get in the shower unless the door was closed all the way because the toilet is right there. They have a restaurant at the hotel, but my husband and I never went to it because it was always empty and no one even told us about it, we just happened upon it when we were waiting around for our room to be cleaned... at 4:00 in the evening! When we arrived the first day we had tons of towels, wash cloths and hand towels. As the week progressed we had less and less towels, as if someone just didn't want to bother with it. We had a king size bed and it was hard as a rock, not much sleep to be had at this hotel. I'm glad my husband and I spent most of our time away from the hotel and just used it for sleeping when we were dead tired. Read more

We were told we would get a complimentary breakfast - no breakfast instead got a $5 off coupon for full service restaurant. Added cost not acceptable. Rooms were nice - but hotel under total remodeling project. Pool was dirty. Will be nice once remodel is complete and upgrades made. Had to search out coffee shop person to get coffee. I really liked where I was staying. booking the room was easy but it wasn't clear about the fireplace being in the room. I assumed that there was one in every room and didn't pursue it any further, that was a bummer. There was construction going on and that never was told to me. They just had signs up saying sorry for the inconvenience during this time. […] Never any word that the hallway carpet and subfloor was going to be pulled up. My room's door was propped open to accommodate the workers then never secured after they were done. The hotel is under renovation, so the restaurant wasn't open. The fitness room was being used as a store room for the carpeting that was being replaced in the hotel. Once the renovation is done, I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Right on a private stretch of beach, this place is in a beautiful location. I enjoyed walking the beach trail and watching the sea birds. The indoor pool was sufficient for a relaxing swim. The staff was friendly and helpful. During my stay, they were in the process of some much needed renovations. Everything seemed old. They offered wool blankets, […] to which I am allergic. They replaced them with microfiber for me, but the replacement blankets were pilled and obviously well used. The noise in the hallways at night was annoying. Every sound of footfall and doors choosing carried. I had to use a white noise machine to get to sleep. This seems to be a common occurrence at most hotels in my experience. The room could have been cleaner. It's unpleasant to see mildew in the shower, fingernail clipping by the bed, accumulated dust behind the nightstand. I'd like to see this place after the remodel. Stay for the view and be sure to book the water view room. Read more

This is a nice hotel. Unlike many other establishments that advertise a 'water view' we actually had an uninterrupted view to the water (a hundred feet away or so) and it was very picturesque. When we stayed here (Labor Day weekend 2012) the hotel was in the process of being converted to a Best Western and the restaurant was closed. They offer a sub-par Continental Breakfast. Maintenance issues aren't being addressed as well as they might. When I reported 2 burnt-out lights in my room I was assured they'd be addressed promptly but they weren't. Carpeting in the hallways was a bit worn/stained. Hotel was somewhat dirty with stains on the carpet through out the hotel. My room was a little noisy as I could her people outside. The air conditioning kept making a big slamming noise every 20 minutes. Had to shut the A/C off, luckily it was real hot out. Not worth the price I paid for sure.

The bar and outside firepit were extremely disruptive. We were not able to sleep until after 1:30 am and complaints yielded no results. The breakfast was awful! We would not use this hotel again. Our reservation was for four and there were only towels for three. The bed was like sinking into a sponge. Awful experience.

Very happy with our stay. The hotel was under some construction, mostly exterior painting. As I appreciate their strive to keep the hotel maintained it was a little off putting to arrive in our room with a painter's ladder leading right to our patio.
