Super 8 Anaheim Near Disneyland

Price was definitely right and close enough to walk to Disneyland and lots of surrounding restaurants. Room was super clean and even enjoyed the pool. Very friendly staff!

Walking distance to Disneyland and California Adventures. Staff was grumpy and not very helpful. Rooms were large and comfortable but noise from parking lot and neighborhood woke me up all three nights we were there.

I stayed at the Super 8 because I booked last minute day before and they were the only place left that had the room I needed. I needed 2 queen beds but they were out so they placed us in a 1 Queen room that was Handicap. This worked out since we got a roll away bed that fit because of the larger room being Handicap. I would recommend staying at this Super 8 to anyone, especially those with families. While the amenities would have it a two star establishment, it is up to date, clean, and well maintained. Instead they asked if they could fix it right away and they did. The only problem is there are not many available electrical outlets in the room. I forgot to bring conditioner and I called the front desk and he laughed said they only provide shampoo. Our shower sprayed out all over the place and had to get it fixed. They said it happens all the time.

The hotel was great with no problems. It was clean and close enough to walk to D-Land even for my 62 year old mom. They let me leave my car in the parking lot on the last day even though we checked out. This saved me for having to pay for a day of parking at D-Land. Breakfast was what I expected and was enough for my kids.

I have to say my family and I were very surprised when we checked in to our rooms. While the lobby is undergoing renovation, and checking in was a bit of a hassle (more so from the office being quite small and cramped), the rooms themselves are quite nice. We noticed new carpeting going in a lot of the rooms as well, which will be a bonus. Within easy […] walking distance from Disneyland and a bunch of restaurants, it's very convenient for a trip to the parks. Complementary breakfast wasn't much to write home about (couple different cereals, juice, coffee, danishes etc) but if you don't want to spend 8-10 bucks per plate it hits the spot. Would've been nice if the rooms had fridges, but ice machine was close by so it wasn't an issue. Only real drawback to the rooms were a lack of hot water in one the first day in both the shower and sink (though the hot water in the sinks in both rooms never really got hot) and that the in room hvac system was noisy, and with no blankets for the beds it tended to get a little bit chilly in the mornings until the heater warmed the room up. Regardless I would totally recommend this hotel for a Disneyland stay, as the price we paid for the rooms was excellent in my opinion. Read more

This was our second stay at this hotel, and both stays were very good. The beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms were clean. The bathrooms were a bit outdated but still very nice. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk to Disneyland. The parking, breakfast and wifi were all free.

For the amount we paid I feel we got our money's worth. The room was clean and the bed sheets looked new and nice. The location is about a mile away from the Anaheim convention center and right next to Garden Walk where you can dine at nice restaurants. Overall a great experience!

We arrived early and had medication for my son's ear infection. I asked if they had a fridge we could use and they let us check in early and provided a fridge in our room. We ended up staying an extra night to use our Disneyland passes (ie son was sick early in the trip) and it was easy to add on. It was supposed to be a happy, relaxing, comfortable family weekend. I got to the room and there was hair in the bathtub, two light bulbs were out, and there was hair in the bedding and in the refriderator they brought me that was extremely tiny. I made them switch our room because I didn't feel comfortable or clean in that room and the tub was so gross […] I couldn't bathe my son in it. Oh, there was also some blood on the wall and that horrified me. The room they switched us to was better, no blood or hair anywhere and we were comfortable. However, there were dozens of LOUD tourists screaming right outside my door and they were drunk and yelling at the fireworks from Disneyland. It was pretty loud. Motel room was clean and comfortable bed. Unfortunately our room was near the front of the motel and located next to a parking garage. The constant traffic and noise from the patrons of the garage made it very difficult to sleep, even after being ten hours on the road.

Your looking at about a 20 minute walk to Disneyland main gate just under 1 mile. I was ok with that because my friend and I stopped at Dennys and Ihop on the walk to the main gate. Parking is free so you save the $15 for parking at Disneyland. Bubba Gump Shrimp and P.F. Changs is literally right next door to the hotel for dinner. When we arrived at the hotel, the person that checked us in acted like she was doing us a favor. The Motel is a bit strange in the way the buildings are laid out, and when she gave me a map and quickly drew a squiggly line on where we should drive our car to and park, I was quite confused. When I asked for verification, she looked at me like I was stupid […] and said "you'll find it". When we finally did find our room, after parking twice in the wrong area, we were very happy with the cleanliness and furnishings. The room was recently remodeled, complete with a flat screen TV. The hotel is ok, it's within walking distance from Disneyland, and is worth the little short of a mile walk to avoid the $15 for parking that racks up when you are going on a budget. Beds are a little firm and rooms are small but we only used the room to sleep before heading back over to the parks which made the hotel worth it.
