Hotel Lungarno - Florence

Loved the hotel - great lobby to relax in - great restaurants very close and shopping. We stayed on the other side of the river for the last two nights and didn't like it nearly as much. It was much quieter at this Hotel. Staff very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this Hotel and the location.

My stay was too short in Florence and I was recuperating from food poisoning so I didn't really get to fully take it in. However, the staff at Lungarno were so welcoming and made me feel so comfortable upon my arrival. I would definitely stay there again for a longer period of time and enjoy all that Florence has to offer. Fabulous boutique hotel!!

This hotel is situated right on the river with little shops everywhere and access over the bridges .Everywhere is within short walking distance.Hotel staff are wonderful and really prioritize their guests.We absolutely LOVED this quaint,small hotel.....just like we loved Florence!!!!

The hotel is beautiful! We were upgraded to the tower suite which is a fantastic room. The hotel is very close to the Ponte Vecchio (2 minute walk) and everything else in Florence. Customer service was personable. I will definitely stay here again!!

This was easily one of the best hotel experiences we've ever had - anywhere! The location is superb, right on the Arno, in easy walking distance to everything. The staff was always helpful and friendly. We were greeted after our long flight from Los Angeles with a friendly buonasera and a room upgrade. We didn't want to leave - ever!

Hotel Lungarno is located on the opposite bank of the Arno river from the bulk of the tourist traffic, between two bridges (including Ponte Vecchio, the old bridge). This location gives you a little bit more peace while being at most a five minute walk from the action. Plus, there are great things to do on this side of the river, with the bonus that […] the tourist traffic is lighter. I would give this hotel high marks for its value in relation to its location, general cleanliness, and friendliness of the staff. I speak Italian, but I noticed others didn't have much difficulty asking questions in English. This hotel offered the best Wifi access that I encountered in any of our hotels this trip (Rome, Florence, Venice). It was generally reliable, fast enough to browse for things to do, and entirely free/included with your room. The room itself was large enough, well-decorated, clean, and in good condition. About the only thing I found slightly lacking was the view, but we did not pay extra for a river view. Instead, we looked out the back of the hotel toward the neighboring building. The windows were also suggested to stay closed to keep the insects out, but with the weather the way it was, I really would have preferred that the hotel just install screens. Finally, maid service is an all day operation here. They may not get to your room until closer to 4-5pm on some days, which can be a drag if you are coming back to clean up before dinner and an evening out. Read more

The location was perfect and the transportation to the hotel was reasonable. We took the locate bus from the Florence airport but took a taxi when we left. Fabulous hotel. Intimate size but big enough to offer all services. Beautifully decorated, and well kept up. The mattresses are particularly comfortable. River views are breath taking. Location is great, just steps away from the Ponte Vecchio. Walkable to just about everywhere. Many restaurants of all price ranges within a few blocks. Service was excellent […] with the exception of no Concierge. Concierge duties are handled by the desk staff and occasionally they are busy with desk duties and fall a bit behind in the ticket and reservation work. I would rate Concierge service as good, not great. For me, the best combination of 4 star accommodations with river side location. I had an Expedia special rate that made this stay very affordable. Wonderful hotel, the epitome of friendly service and charm. A stone's throw from Ponte Veccio an all that Firenze has to offer. Oddness with my room 101, sounded like it was next to the elevator (it wasn't). After a sleepless night they upgraded me to the Tower which was calm and perfect.

Definitely the best position on river with terrace overlooking Rialto bridge on the south bank which is by far the best place to be after a hectic days sightseeing, also the best restaurants are within this vicinity. Lungarno does excellent breakfast, we didn't have dinner in hotel as it is very expensive.

The Hotel Lungarno is by the Arno River, excellent location, close to the Bridge and within walking distance to everything that caters to tourists: the Dome, Palazzo Pitti, etc. Very comfortable rooms, excellent service, only the restaurant has a very limited menu after 7:00pm. Will certainly return to the Lungarno.

こじんまりとしていて、とても快適なホテルです。レセプションやベルマンのスタッフは大変フレンドリーで、対応もすばやいものでした。部屋も清潔でベッキオ橋の眺めが最高でした。できれば、ぜひ奮発して、バルコニー付きの部屋がおすすめです。唯一残念だったのが、レストランをディナーで利用した際に、コースメニューがすべて出てくるまでに２時間半もかかったことです。料理は良かったのですが、人手不足な印象を受けました。

２泊したが通された部屋は予約時のイメージとは異なるアルノ川と反対の部屋。予約時にプリントした部屋のイメージ写真を見せると、フロント氏は「日本で決めたことはその通りにはならない」としながらも２泊目は希望通りの川に沿った見晴らしの良い部屋に変えてくれた。早めの清掃の融通もきかせてくれて良かった。
