Location.
Featuring a Michelin-star restaurant outlet, The Mira Hong Kong offers a prime location in TsimShaTsui, the most popular tourist district. This luxury hotel is across the street from Miramar Shopping Arcade. Star Avenue, Jade Market, Ladies Market, and Sports Market are within a 1-kilometer radius of the hotel. All 18,000 square-feet of MiraSpa encapsulates rejuvenating spa, beauty and hair services. Complete with state-of-the-art fitness centre and infinity-edged pool, the MiraSpa features a wet zone with sauna, steam, whirlpool, experience showers, waterbed lounge and nine spacious treatment rooms. These include seven single Spa Suites complete with private washroom and shower facilities. Two VIP couples spa suites with private sunken whirlpool bath, steam shower and vanity area. The oval-shaped Aura Room with soothing coloured light feature induces restful sleep while you enjoy a therapeutic MiraSpa ritual. Also featured are sauna, steam room, whirlpool and experience showers for instant rejuvenation or use prior to your spa experience. Cuisine Cuisine - Traditional and contemporary Cantonese cuisine is highlighted with signature dishes such as roasted Peking duck and sautéed shark's fin. The restaurant has an exclusive tasting counter for sampling some of their 450 wines.
whisk - A menu that combines French and Chinese cuisine using fresh and seasonal ingredients and paired with a selection of wines from around the world.
The Ballroom - A 1,500 square foot pillarless ballroom accommodating up to 800 guests. 18 handcrafted chandeliers and 25,000 lighting combinations make this venue an ideal location for celebrations and other events.
Yamm - An all-day dining restaurant serving Japanese and International cuisine. Live cooking stations for a la minute specialties are operational during lunch and dinner and a tableside buffet is also available.
Room One - A stylish lobby bar and lounge with a casual atmosphere. Room One serves signature cocktails and bar food and features an eclectic mix of music from resident and guest DJs.
Coco - A cafe-patisserie serving artisan chocolates, take-away coffees, freshly-baked pastries, cakes, and designer cupcakes.
The Mira Hong Kong has a 92-square-meter (1,000-square-foot) fitness center with three treadmills, a rower, one recumbent bike, one elliptical trainer, a stair stepper, and a free-weights section. The gym, pool and zen like sauna and steam rooms at the Mira hotel were worth the say alone. Although my stay at the Mira was somewhat mired by a sleepless night in which a glitch in the computer system that controls the lighting in the room cause the lights to turn on repeatedly during the night, the amenities and friendliness of the stay made up for […] our sleepless night. "Be careful of the sudio room"
The sudio room is a pigeon hole and no bath tub and the hotel staff doesn't care.

I travel to HK for business regularly, and this is the first time I've ever stayed here, only because I usually stick to the regular starwood/priority club/etc hotels where I can recieve points. However, this hotel is a gem, right in the heart of the shopping off Nathan Road, Connected to the Miramar shopping center, and close to many restaurants as […] well as the great ones they have inside. The rooms were updated, clean, comfortable, and I have to say-very sheek. I LOVE the decor of this hotel. Definitely boutique style, not your usual Hilton. The hotel was absolutley perfection! I have been to HK many times and usually stay in Central. This location was so perfect and close to the MTR for easy access to Centntral and other locations in HK. The hotel was a beautiful and the staff was fantatstic. i stayed on the club floor that gave me breakfast in the morning and used the light fare for dinner […] many nights after long days of work. The room was spacious and contemporary and very clean. They even gve you a cell phone to use locally in HK while you are there at no additional fee for local calls. What a convenience and money saver. The staff on the club flore could not have been more graciuos and warm. They were able to help with all my requests and even walked me through getting lost on the phone while in Wan Chan. Just an overall great time and wonderful experience. I travel many times to Hong Kong, but it is 1st time I stay in Mira Hotel, it is great hotel, it also a great neighborhood if you like to shop. Althought, the room is little bit small,
right at the center of everything you want to go in Kowloon.

We enjoyed the Mira for the first 4 nights prior to an escorted China tour. We could not have asked for more. The service was the best. The restaurants were excellent. We could walk or take quick inexpensive taxis everywhere we wanted to see. I would unconditionally recommend the Mira.

Dont know why this hotel has never popped up on my hong kong hotels.com searches, but im glad it did. It is adorable. Compared to the W - the rooms are a little smaller, but they are just as nice. "lobby being remodeled/June 2011"
I like the Mira for its location and access to the TST Metro station and ferry. I even "forgot" about the cold shower I had to endure before I checked out of the hotel last time in September 2010. NOTE: The lobby area between Yamm and Coco is being remodeled, and the public computers that guests used to have access to are no longer available. "Very Chic Hotel"
Very high tech and chic hotel. See through shower with automated blinds and lighting scene's was really cool along with the Sony TV/Entertainment system. Very comfortable bed and aside from the lovely city view of a parking garage was a very nice stay. The contents of the minibar were complementary which was a first.

"Our stay in Hong Kong"
This is a very attractive hotel in a convenient part of Kowloon - very close to the metro and about 10 minutes walking to the Star Ferry. The heat didn't work in our room and it took three visits by hotel staff to admit that yes, we were right, there was no heat in our room. And for the cost of the room, we deserved a view of SOMETHING.

Ultramodern hotel in central Kowloon, convenient to extensive shopping and restaurants. Walking distance to Star Ferry. Beautiful rooms with free internet access on large screen TV. Only complaint is very complicated in-room lighting system which is hard to use.

This hotel was very up to date and everything was in new condition. Everything that was described on their web site was correct. One down side was that maid service was lacking in that face towell was missing, empty body gel container was not disposed of and dust on the floors. Getting onto the internet via the room Television was great. I was very happy with my stay at The Mira Hong Kong! The Staff were all fantastic! The design was very up to date. The bed was comfortable. Everything was very clean. I checked out the hotels website and was very pleased but upon walking in I was blown away. The service, location, amenities (Room: the best ever, Spa: better than the best you have ever been to) I highly recommend this hotel and only wished I could have stayed longer.

This is a fully renovated ultra modern/trendy boutique hotel in the heart of the TsimShatSui shopping district and close to the subway. Rooms have large flat screen TV that also has music and internet access with wireless keyboard. The hotel is suitable for business or leisure travel. I was satisfied.

"Simply Amazing"
The newly renovated Mira hotel, is just a wonderful look. Very very boutique experience. The room was clean and spacious. The mirror ceilings on all the floors, make the hotel floors look very tall. Would stay again and again..
"Excellent stay"
the only trouble is that the hotel is not yet completely renovated. It will be finished by November 2009. The impact is that the Gym is in a very small room for the moment and the Spa is not yet finished. Next to that, it was a great stay!!! Would definitely visit this hotel again.

The lobby of the hotel is spacious (but not impressive)kindda dark even the corridor leading to the room. The rooms are fine and everything is almost one click of a button (rooms are hi-tech) wide screen TV, equipped with MP3 and DVD player,internet connection is free. Surprisingly there is a cellphone in the room where you can bring anywhere in Hong […] kong and use this for your local calls without charges (free) when someone call your room, you can answer it even when you are in disneyland, ocean park or peak tower as long as you have the cellphone with you. Unfortunately the hotel is under renovation, the sauna and steam room are not working an improvised gym was provided. The club lounge is somewhat awkward (its difficult to eat your breakfast when you are in a couch) The food are good. The staff are courteous and helpful. We've been staying at the same hotel, in Kowloon, for the last 10 years purely because I am a creature of habit. This hotel (fortunately) was not available on this last trip, so we booked the Mira Hotel instead as it was in the vicinity of where we wanted to be. What a pleasurable experience that turned out to be! We had an excellent room, superb linen, […] excellent service, a brilliant location, not even 300m to the MTR (the underground) in Tsim Tsa Tsui and an easy walk to the Star Ferry for the trip to Hong Kong island. Overall fantastic experience and there is no doubt in my mind that we will always book The Mira in future. Read more
