There was a toaster in the kitchen area, so if toast is considered a hot breakfast, they did provide one. The motel looked like it had been updated about fifteen years ago. It was about the cheapest place in Naperville, and now I understand why.

There were stains on the sheets and linens. The furniture was outdated. The overall facade of the place is in desperate need of repair. My door didn't close all the way when I thought it did. After the first night we returned to find an old dirty couch was delivered to our room while we were away. My boyfriend killed a roach on that couch that evening and we checked out early, losing one night's stay. It was not worth saving money to stay there.

Booked 2 rooms, 95degrees outside and the air conditioner unit would not start in one room. We packed up a daughter and toddler to move to another room which the "engineer" could not unlock. By this time the 2 toddlers were getting tired and crabby, as was I. We were fed up. Was not very happy. Have booked others in past years that were the same price but much better. Air conditioner was loud. Booked 3 rooms for my husband & I and 2 other couples. 4 out of 6 room key cards did not work. Manager had to open rooms with pass key card. Not impressed with the towels. Looked old and thin. The hot water knob would not allow a full flow. It also had a VERY sharp edge near the overflow drain. There was only one source of ice, which was under the direct control of the management.

Naperville Days Inn is an older hotel and it shows. They have recently updated the rooms though and it improves the quality of the stay. Every employee I had contact with was extremely nice and friendly. I will stayy here again when visiting this part of Chicagoland.

I hate spending money on a motel, so this was cheap. The only problem was the building was falling apart. Our key card wouldn't work. It took about 5 mins. to get it to work the first time. We opened the door to our room and it was freezing cold. The heat hadn't been turned on. The sink was ready to fall off the wall. When we went to breakfast, I joked with my husband saying we'd probably get a piece of day old bread. I wasn't too far off. There were a few slices of bread, a couple of donuts and cereal. I had cereal. When we came back the next night, again we couldn't get into the room due to the key card. The guy at the desk had a man come and try his key. It took him forever to get the door open. We had a good laugh over it. The people at the desk were very friendly, but this was the most run down hotel I've ever been too. The dining area had walls that had been spackled, but not painted. But it was quiet, we got two good nights sleep once we got the heat up and running, and like I said, we laughed and laughed over the situation with trying to get the door open. Read more

My room was fine, except for the bugs. When I opened dresser drawer to put clothes there were two bugs crawling around. I killed them both. I saw no other bugs in my room, but I did see one crawling on the inside of the window of another room. Do you have a problem?

The building and rooms are run down. The people working there are very friendly and helpful. They are trying, there just seems to be so much work to be done. The outside looks rundown, the room was mostly clean but we found pubic hair in the bathroom and there where spots on the sheets. The room smells musty. I believe that it was cleaned but you still […] get a icky feeling. We did not end up sleeping there. We just dropped the key off and found some where else to stay. The area it is in is very nice, and higher end. The hotel needs to be updated and cleaned up. As I said before the person behind the desk was wonderful, in fact he was so nice I couldn't bring myself to tell him we would not stay there. We just bit the dust on the cost and left. I should have believed the "bad" reviews!! Stay here only if you don't have to stay long. Breakfast offering is bery poor. Shower curtain had several months of mold. Bed were okay. Limited supply of drinking glasses, towels, etc. Local is good to the area around Naperville. Stay at your own risk!!

The very accommodating staff were quite performed all of the necessities well, and even gave extra samples of toothpaste & lotion without asking. Unfortunately, this drab-on-the-outside hotel has since seen better days, and the beautiful furniture couldn't make up for it. It seemed odd from the start that the gentleman at the desk took a unusually long time to decide what room to assign us, even with many rooms available & with our flexibility as to where we would be put. When we moved into the room, it had a very strong musty smell, but I was willing to stay there figuring other rooms probably smelled the same, & I […] tend to be content with whatever I am given. However, while we were enjoying a snack, my daughter looked down & saw a large growth (3' long) of mold along the baseboard next to her bed. We found two more large areas of mold. I went & informed the desk clerk of the mold & asked for a new room. He was apologetic, but it seemed more out of a sense of covering himself. He again went through a long deliberation over what room to give us. It was satisfactory in that I found no mold in it, but it still smelled a bit musty. We packed up & moved. Both rooms were cramped in size, but had relatively comfortable beds & chair. Bathroom was not well cleaned. No exhaust fan. Water pressure was very low. It is an older motel. AC unit worked well which made it comfortable on a couple hot, muggy days. Breakfast was pathetic (I rarely use that word). We were at a conference both days there, so we did not need to spend much time at all at the motel, which was a good thing. We slept rather comfortably which was a blessing. This was a clean motel without any extra's but near close eating establishments. The breakfast that was included (continental) was pretty sparse ad nothing looked very good. But for what we paid it was worth it.

I was not at all impressed with this hotel as it was fairly run down and really not a good value in my opinion. Problems started at check in with Manager trying to double charge me for room before I said something to him. Room condition was sub par and I would not go back there again. I was very disappointed with this hotel, if I had not already paid for it thru hotels.com, I would of cancelled my reservation...it was NOT what I thought I was getting, i have stayed at many Days Inn's and nothing in this shape. It was NOT worth the money, it was dirty, sketchy, old,the beds were rough, very unconfortable, the room had a chair right […] as soon as you opened up the door, could barely get in and No room to move it anywhere.
