"Right near Oreland 5K"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Very convenient location. As a CPAP user, I really appreciate an open plug near the nightstand. The breakfast buffet had everything I needed for my pre-race meal. I will make this my destination hotel for this yearly event.

The rooms were booked last minute as we were being evacuated from the Jersey Shore. Since we have 3 big dogs, we couldn't be to particular. The rooms were surprisingly clean. The location was also very good. Our big problem was the manager/owner. He was so rude and nasty. There was no continental breakfast for 2 days, not even coffee.
"Good value"
The hotel needs a refurbishing but the rooms are clean and the staff was friendly.

"Good deal"
Clean, like-new renovation
"Hotel- NJ"
They said they will give complimentary breakfast and all they gave was some stale donuts - coffee and apple juice
"Horrible experience"
Avoid this dive at all costs. Sleep in your car if you have too.....

"Not a place I will stay again"
Although the front desk clerk went out of her way to help get there (we were lost as our GPS unit couldn't find the address), the hotel waslousy. She gave us our first room only to find out it was already occupied, then she gave us our second room only to find out it wasn't clean. She only had 1 room left and it was a smoking room. Considering I had […] already paid for the room and it was about 5 am, we took it. Big mistake. We should have found another hotel. The bed was uncomfortable, there weren't enough pillows, and the shower got everything the breadbox sized bathroom soaking wet. This was a horrible experience I will not repeat. We also called the home office3 times to confirm our destination and was put on hold for 20 minutes each time and then disconnected. Read more

"don't stay there"
People three rooms down argueing in parking lot. All that was missing was the gun shots. Staff did nothing about it. After first night we were locked out of the room.
"Outside of philadelphia"
Great location, overall good place to stay overnight,
"Nice Motel"
This is a nice motel to spend the night. Nothing special, clean room, good beds and shower, with friendly staff. The only problem is the location. Althugh it is really simple to find my GPS couldn`t locate it.
"Crossroads Inn"
This hotel was quiet and very comfortable. It was also easy to find and near a lot of interesting places. I would recommend this to my family and friends

"ok, but overpriced"
There are lots of other motels on this same highway, with most of them posting rates that are 30-40% less per night. This placed was WAY overpriced for what it was. Breakfast? That's what it was called, but 3 donuts on a tray with weak coffee, orange and apple "drink" isn't what I would call even continental. Again, clean, ok place, but overpriced. Oh, […] and you have to leave a $10 deposit at desk if you want to take a hair dryer to your room. Must be a big black market for motel hair dryers in these parts. Read more
"The worst experience ever!"
There was no problem with the check in, once I got settled into the room I pulled the covers back to find a wet spot in the middle of the bed. I immediately packed my things and called the front desk, they gave me a different room. The second room seemed slightly better than the first and I immediately inspected it upon arrival (no miscellaneous stains […] on the bed). Overall the place seemed a little run down and outdated. We ordered food from the take out menus found in the room and they took an hour to deliver. The "breakfast" that they offered in the morning were stale donuts, coffee and "juice" from a machine. Maybe they didn't clean the juice machine properly or at all because upon dispensing my beverage I found that there were particles floating around in the cup! Never again will I stay here, I would not even recommend this establishment to my worse enemy. Read more
I would not recommend this place to anyone. The curtains had visible water stains and the shower was barely big enough for an adult. I would never stay here again. You had to rent the ironing board and it wasn't even a full size board.

"Never Again: You Get What You Pay For"
I booked this room for a night because the reviews sad that it was an ok room for a ok price if all you wanted was a place to sleep. After a evening out, I checked into the room. The Manager on duty was very pleasant and accomadating. But when I got to the room, there was a crack pipe in the bed!! The phone was not working properly, but i eventually […] got through and was immediately moved to another room. The manager was very nice and apologetic, but I still would not recommend this motel to anyone else. Read more
"Hotel Needs Improvement"
The hotel is adequate at best. Staff was not accommodating, especially when it came to asking for more guest towels. The stay, however, was quiet and uninterrupted.
"Ok hotel for the money..."
The continental breakfast was donuts - which the hotel staff had a hard time "replenishing". And had to pay a deposit for te hairdryer! But the A/C worked well, and the beds were fairly comfortable. Ask for another pillow if you sleep with two, and when my son got sick in the late night hours, the staff was very good to get us a new bedspread.
"Crossroads Inn - OK but bring your ear plugs"
Everything was just what we needed for our overnight stay: comfortable bed, clean bathroom, clean towels and a good shower BUT the air-conditioner was TERRIBLY noisy - so you REALLY do need earplugs. No earplugs, no sleep. Other than that, this motel is surrounded by three main roads as its name would suggest, so I would not say it is picturesque. Breakfast […] was good coffee and yummy doughnuts - which was just perfect for me. Friendly staff. Read more
