Fairfield Inn by Marriott Minot - Minot

It was ok. The shower handle is very confusing. Especially when you are in a hurry in the morning. Suggest looking at it the night before to make sure you know how to work it. I've stayed in a lot of hotels and it is one I have never seen before.

The breakfast is nicer than most hotels we've been to, and the breakfast hostess, Christine, goes out of her way to make sure you get enough to eat and enjoy your meal. There is fresh fruit available all day if we needed a snack on our way out, and the most fabulous chocolate chip cookies served all afternoon too. Then they put out supper too; things […] like ravioli with garlic bread, meatball sandwiches, sloppy joes. Every request we had was immediately seen to and EVERYONE we spoke with was friendly and greeted us with a smile. That is so rare and we really appreciated it. We left feeling as though we had new friends in Minot. The only thing that was less than stellar was the mattress. Of the five adults in our party, one hated the mattress, one liked it and three were neutral. The hotel is super clean, and is right by the mall, so shopping and dining options are plentiful. We used the pool and hot tub each night and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this hotel and it would absolutely be our choice on our next trip to Minot. Read more

The rooms were very clean, the staff cared and immediately acted on any concerns, but it is definitely an older facility. The wallpaper in the bathroom was discolored and peeling, the carpet was stained, stretched and coming up. It just needed some updating. It still gave me a place to sleep, and that was really all I needed.

location near the fairgrounds and eateries.....it is more expensive than other cities/towns but when you have few choices, they have you and your wallet captive.

I have stayed in Minot many times but this was a first at this hotel and i can honestly say I will stay no where else!! Nice to have the fridge and microwave in the room. The room was clean and comfortable... but a little on the small side. Breakfast was good, with a decent variety for a continental.... Right next to the mall - very convenient.

The hotel was clean and the staff was excellent. The room was very small but adequate to sleep in. It was priced too high for the size of the room we stayed in. Continental breakfast was good and staff made it enjoyable.

Overall nice. Friendly staff. Continental breakfast could have been better monitored to ensure food was replenished. If certain food item was gone, no one made any effort to bring additional even when it was requested.

Awesome hotel clean and friendly close to shopping and all other attractions that we were attending. The personal touch was cute when everyday we got back to the room they put my kids stuffed animals tucked in each bed after they cleaned our room. Thank you we will see you again. D

the hotel is right across from dakota Square Mall. Good Location.The only thing is getting to the hotel for the first time. It is easiest to come south on 16th street across the Number @ 2 highway then turn onto #2 east for a short distance then take the exit off into the hotel. There is a lot of dead ends so it is a little confusing.

We went to Minot for a quick 1 night shopping trip. Booked into the Fairfield as most other hotels were not available due to previous flooding. It was next to the mall so very handy for us. Front desk staff were cheerful and invited us to have a snack in the lobby. Our room was clean and exactly suited our needs. Great shower head with massage option […] in the bathroom! Breakfast was good with make your own waffles and lots of other choices. We sat in the dining area having coffee and the staff were busy cleaning and were very friendly. As we were packing up to leave, we remarked upon how pleased we were with the hotel and that we would return. Well done, Fairfield Inn!! Read more

Room cost too much for what you got!! Charged for LD calls..60 bucks, which were not made....room was too hot, couldn't cool it down...sheets were not the cleanest
