"Poor air conditioning and noisy"
I thought the room was very clean and my stay would have been great except for 2 things. One was that the air conditioning clearly didn't work. It would only blow out lukewarm air and I thought maybe it was because I didn't turn it to the coldest temperature. Doing so didn't improve it, so the AC was not in proper working condition. "Nice overnight stay"
We stayed overnight to attend an event in San Diego. This hotel is located 20 miles from the center of San Diego. The room was large, clean & comfortable. The only negative was that they had rooms located on the 2nd floor, no elevator, and it could be difficult for some travelers to carry their large bags or luggage up the stairs.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice on the outside and in the room."
Nice looking rooms. Clean and orderly on the outside. The sink plug was not working and I looked down and it was tied with a piece of wire instead a proper bracket. Maybe they need to tell the plumber to do his job better.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Dreadful hotel and front desk"
It seems like the name was placed over this run down hotel to try and save it. When you get there, you will be charged an additional $10.00 USD for overnight parking. This is not an internet friendly hotel at all. There is an extra $10.00 USD if you would like to access the internet from your room. The business center has only two computers for this […] purpose. Unfortunately for me, only one was running at the time and it was busy all the time. This is an old building that has not been renovated for many years. The wallpaper in the rooms is old and falling apart. The rugs are dreadful and dirty. The restrooms are old as well. There are two nicely placed watter bottles in the room. Very nice hotel with a couple of hiccups. First, our room wasn't ready at check-in and we were in a hurry to get to a wedding. As a result they gave us free parking (which was already supposed to have been free) and a comp breakfast. Second, either the walls/floors are very thin or the guy upstairs weighed four hundred pounds. Complex units dotted around the golf course, 2 pools (one is a lap pool) and a couple of restaurants, I did not want to leave this place. I was first annoyed with myself for booking this hotel. It wasn't as close to the touristy sites (Seaworld, Zoo) as I had thought. The hotel is lovely, beautiful property and the people are AMAZING! Everything was great. When we arrived the staff gave us two double tree cookies when they checked us in and we were very pleased with all of the amenities as well as the surrounding area. It was a pretty good place to stay. I expected it to be a little more "high end", but it was fine for an overnight stay. I agree with other reviewers that it was a bit nosy. We needed to walk a bit far from parking to room. I was thinking it would have been okay if that means less foot traffic and more privacy.
