Quality Inn & Suites Beachfront - Ocean City 38.36148, -75.07131

We got a good deal on this hotel because of the off season. I would hate to have to pay season rates for this room. It was clean and staff were friendly but the hotel is run down. Rooms need some remodeling. However, it was close to beach and had a nice view.

The hotel was in a great location on the beach. We upgraded to the oceanview room and it was well worth it. The only problem we had was when someone was smoking somewhere around our room, the smell of smoke would come in thru the air conditioning...disgusting. Hotel did nothing about it, claiming they would find out who it was.

My fiance and I stayed from 9/2 thru 9/7. Beach front room was great, clean and would stay again. Only issue was woman at front desk was kind of snotty when we requested 2 more days in the room. We needed to move to another room that wasn't beach front but it still was clean. The rest of the staff was very polite. Would stay again.

We had three oceanfront rooms on the third floor with fantastic views and sounds of the ocean. The suites were nice and spacious with lots of room for the grandchildren to eat, play and sleep (in two of the rooms we had to set up porta-cribs and there was plenty of room for them). The kitchenettes were great for having meals in our rooms which saved us a lot of money. We all loved the indoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna with towels provided. We had easy access to the beach out of the rear of the hotel and with little ones with us this really came in handy. Being only five blocks from the end of the boardwalk we were able to take a stroll on the beach to the end of it and at other times we rode the bus to get around. The covered parking garage that is attached to the hotel was very convient especially when we loaded the car to leave and it was raining outside. This is a wonderful place to stay for a family vacation.

I TOOK MY GRANDCHILDREN ON A MINI VACATION. WE RECEIVED GREAT SERVICE AND THE ROOM WAS WONDERFUL. I COULD NOT ASK FOR A BETTER PLACE TO STAY. I WILL BE THERE NEXT YEAR.

My fiancee and I stayed at this hotel at the end of May and we liked it enough that we decided to stay there again this past weekend. We planned on getting married on the beach in Ocean City and this hotel would be very convienient for that since we liked the beach around 33rd Street. The first time we stayed we had a ocean front room. The second time, (this past weekend) it was during peak season and the prices almost doubled so with paying for the wedding I really couldn't afford an ocean front room. The good thing was we ended up getting a room with a side view and we still had a great view of the ocean. The room was nice for the money and it was clean. The hotel staff was nice and friendly. We got married on the beach on July 11th in front of the hotel so it was very nice to just walk outside and get married then we could just walk back inside to get changed

Room was very clean, but the wallpaper and furnishings were worn and dated. Bed was comfortable. Staff was excellent, very courteous and helpful. Great oceanview!

Staff, especially front desk was very accomadating. She bent over backwards to help us. Excellent Steam Room! Jacuzzi was pretty and roomy but needed to be hotter. Perfect for a fmaily. Kitchen fully equipped and nice game room huge pool area for kids while parents steam or jacuzzi. Area around hotel sort of trashy beachcomber tourist. Then again it is Oceancity. Excellent.

We are repeat guests and have found our place to stay in OC.

Postives: The location of this hotel was great, right on the beach basically and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a deli/liquor/convenience store next door so that was very convenient. Loved the covered parking too! Negatives: The room was ok but rather "dated" and it looked like it hadn't been redone in decades. The housekeepers could not wait to get us out of our room. Check-out time was 11am but they were hounding us to leave starting at about 10:15am.

We've stayed at the QI on 17th, and it was a little nicer than this one. The view from the balcony was better than expected. The bathroom was a little dingy, but the room overall was what I expected.

Good, friendly service. Clean rooms for the most part! The A/C froze us out of the room- which is exactly how we LOVE it!! Overall very good stay!

Check-in was quick and efficient with an excellent staffer. We loved the convenience of the parking facilities. Our oceanfront room was roomy, with plenty of light. Unfortunately, the worn sofa had a huge tear in the armrest which gave the living area a shabby appearance, and the TV was outdated, with reception so dark some stations were hard to see. However, these items are easily corrected. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the hotel and look forward to another stay in the future.

We arrived early and were not able to check in but we were given a key to access the indoor and outdoor pool and changing areas until check in time. The hotel staff we encountered were friendly. Our housekeeping lady was nice but did the minimal she had to do in our room. If we were there when she came to clean, she would ask "do you want me to vacuum, or do you want me to make your beds?" Kind of made us feel like we were putting her out if we said yes. We were very pleased with the room, very spacious.....a king bed, pull out couch, kitchen and direct ocean view with a balcony as reserved.

Stayed in romm 202, June 7-10,2009. Corner room w/ large balcony and extra windows. Spacious for 2 people, probbaly crowded with 4. Quiet at the end of the hall, near stairawy with only one flight of stairs to beach access door or indoor pool/hot tub area. Another outdoor pool located on fourth floor, nice for late afternoon. Room has adequate kitchenette with small stovetop, large refrigerator, and basic dishware and cookware. If you plan on cooking, bring own cutting board & knife, along with favorite saute or fry pan. Refridge ran almost constantly through the night and noise is minor irritation. bring earplugs. Compared to other older OC hotel rooms we have stayed at, overall, it was slightly above average. Decor is very dated, curtains were stained & dusty, light fixture above dining table dirty, old coffee table in front of pull out sofa about to fall apart, very old lamps & lamp shades, sliding glass door & screen to balcony need replacing, needs fresh paint and new carpet.If you can look beyond these imperfections, you will enjoy your time here. On the way back home, I realized I had left my phone charger in the room and called right away. I was told that I would have to call back the next morning and talk to the head housekeeper ( odd ). The next day I was told that the phone charger was not in the room, however, one of the housekeepers had two phone chargers on her cart and I would need to describe the charger to identify it as my own. Neither of them knew which room the chargers came from. I think this situation should have been handled by management personnel not a housekeeper and was never resolved. I still don't have my charger back. If you leave something in a room don't ever expect to get it back. lesson learned.

Parking was most convenient. Our room was large, with lots of light. Sadly, the living area loveseat was quite shabby, with a huge split in the armrest. TV was small and outdated. But these things can be easily corrected. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and we will return.

I requested and paid for a "beachfront" room. The room was huge for the price offered on hotels.com. This hotel was a short walk to the boardwalk and convenient to reach the place of business I needed to go. I would definitely book this hotel again.

In one of the room bathroom their was no water from shower & hotel management couldnt fix or give alternate room due to full booking,After coming from beach & not finding any shower in ur room how much more frustating it can get

The only down side to this time of year, Spring Fest, the Restaurant was closed and the hotel did not have snacks avaialble.

The hotel staff was excellent! We arrived early and the room was already available. Check in was fast and efficient, the front desk staff were all incredibly friendly. The rooms were good but need some refurbishing. Many of the ammenities were run down, the cabinets were pretty rough and the appliances looked like they would need to be replaced pretty soon. The indoor pool was wonderful! The parking was good although we stayed during an off season period so it might be more difficult in the peak periods. I really can't say enough good things about the staff. They were fantastic! If the hotel would just invest a bit more in remodeling, this would be an extremely great deal.

The room was huge and it overlooked the beach, like I requested. I wish the hotel had been a little closer to the boardwalk. The only negative was the condition of the hot tub. It appeared to be very dirty, which made me not get in it. However, I saw it being cleaned on the morning of my departure.

I really enjoyed every second of my stay. The hotel staff was amazing and very helpful whenever I needed anything. The location of the hotel was perfect for me with surrounding eating etablishments and a beautiful view. The indoor swimming pool was a good room temperature and the hot tub was very elaborate with amazing water jets. I definetly plan on coming back for my next vacation.

My husband and I had stayed here before so we came across a really good deal for this hotel we couldn't pass it up. However, you get what you pay for was an understatement. We checked in and headed to our room. When walking into our room we quickly realized that the room was set up very differently. When you opened the door you practically walked right into the frig. We had to almost turn sideways to squeeze through the tiny hallway/kitchen. While unpacking we begain looking around and both commented on how it seemed as if we were put in a maid's closet. There was hardly in light, the tv was in the middle of the room (cords just strung across the floor), the closet was in a corner that was blocked by a table (we couldn't have used either one). We had to leave our luggage in the middle of the floor because there was no other place for it. There was no couch for us to even sit on to watch tv, so if we wanted to do anything we sit on the bed, which was extremely uncomfortable. In addition, our second day there we realized the sheets had stains on them and they towels smelled horrible, so we figured the maid would clean the room, but I ended up going to the front desk to request that our room be cleaned. Now granted we did stay during the off season, but you would think for a time when there were very few guests in the hotel they could have given us a better room and better service, but I guess we were wrong. Not only was the room ackward, dark, and dirty it was LOUD we were located next the elevator and the actual maid's closet. I guess it wasn't bad enough that we had to stay in what seemed to be a maid's closet, but we had to be right next to one too! The room was not only bad, but the pool and hot tub were too! The pool was about 2 feet low on water, the hot tub was not very warm, and the sauna didn't work. In addition there appeared to be mold on some of the tiles in the pool area. This hotel has gone downhill and we won't stay here again!!

We stayed for 3 nights (the hotel had an off season special of the 3rd night being half price! That made a good value even better). The indoor pool was a perfect temperature, the hot tub and sauna were also perfect.

we had a great room at the best price around. we had more than we expected out of our room.

We were well pleased with our stay at the Quality Inn Beachfront. The room was well maintained while we were there for our three nights. We enjoyed the pool and the spa! Our rate of stay was very reasonable through hotels.com. We did call ahead to try and book a room one night early and the rate was way higher and they would not budge off of that rate even for AARP. So we stayed in a brand new Hampton Inn in Salisbury for much less. I would not feel that the Hotel was in the ballpark on their going rates.

Everything is good is this place.
