Went there Memorial weekend May 24-28, 2023. You basically paid for the location. Service is horrible, they only have one old lady to clean the whole hotel. They smoke a lot of weeds, music is loud. Even though it was memorial weekend but it was to ghetto for me. Will not recommend anyone to stay there. STAY AWAY....

This place is what it is....great location right in the heart of the action, but the rooms are basic and not much else. Some would even call it a dive but the room was clean although the view featured a classic look at the garbage dumpsters in the alley. Overall satisfied. Room was pretty clean, sheets were clean, bathroom was pretty new but could have been cleaner. Service was good. If you re looking for a fun weekend across from the beach- location amazing!!

The stay was ok. Right on the places to be if you want to party and be on the beach. First night went well. Second night the ac did not work. It was hot. I open the window it didn't help much, but on ocean drive I just went outside. Great location.

The room is basic, but who needs more than the basics when the room is just a place to sleep? It was clean and comfy. Location is great, right in front of the beach! The service was pretty bad though. The lady seemed to be in a perpetually bad mood.

It's right in the middle of all the action on South Beach, we stayed two nights and got a killer rate, so all in all we are not disappointed with the Starlite. It's old and funky but clean and the people who work there are nice. Stay there if you just want a great location and don't really care about the room or amenities.

It is right in the middle of the busy part of Miami with all the tourist. No parking had to park in a parking garage an pay for that. The room is nothing like the picture. Other than that everything was walking distance.

If you are looking for the South beach experience you can't beat the location of the Starlite Hotel. In the middle of the historic art Deco district and right across from the beach! It is in good walking distance to good restaurants and of course the beach. Arrived on Cinco de Mayo...A lot of people and sad to see the trash all over the beaches, but, the next day it was cleaned up...great to see the city maintaining the beaches.

One of the less classy hotels on Ocean Drive in South Beach. Location is great, but no view of anything from the rooms, except for the side of the neighboring building. The front desk attendent was not at all helpful when asked questions about getting around etc... so we figured it out on our own. I went there for Spring Break. I expected it to ne worse given the 2 stars on hotel.com . It wasn't bed and I am happy I went. I did miss not having a pool. I realized that the next time i go to South Beach I'll try to get a hotel with a pool. Expecially during spring break where the weather could be unpredictable and a little cold, having a pool to […] relax would be perfect! I also got sunburnt so i couldn't stay in the sun a lot. Ahhh wish I had that pool! The people who work there are sometimes friendly, sometimes they just don't want to be bothered. A little rude at times but it didn't bothered me much. i haven't used their room service so i don't know anout that. Will i go back there? Maybe if i go in a big group of people yes. Girls getaway.sheets clean.room clea. But the hotel is so old.toilet old and rusty. Tub clean, but rusty. Floors clean but very old. Our room was way in the back by the laundry amd supply room, hated that but it was on the 1st floor. LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION IS THE BEST!!!!!

Had a great time here. My buddy and I were in town to party at Ultra, so we were very happy with this place. It's not especially fancy, but the beds are comfy enough. We didn't have any of the issues I've seen lots of other people report (dirty towels, too much noise, etc.). The hotel itself could do with a good overhaul. It is very dated. But as they are always booked out, I suppose they see no point in spending money when they don't need to.
