I stayed at the hotel for 6 days and I should admit that it was really neat. Clean room, great breakfast, good workout area. My only concern was the internet connection. It was either dead slow or dead. If you are on a business trip and rely on internet, this hotel mightn't help you.The sad part is even after notifying the front desk and the management […] , they didn't care. I sent couple of emails later to the management and it looks like those went to a black hole. What a nice little stay! It wasn't top of the line, but it was relaxing and well maintained. For the price and location, you really can't beat this. "Ok, but would try another hotel first."
Pros - The hotel was easy to find. The staff was pleasant and accommodating to questions. The bed was comfortable. Cons - I stayed in a room with a King size bed. The room was the smallest one I've ever stayed in during any of my hotel stays. The set-up in the room made maneuvering even smaller luggage a challenge, especially when opening the door […] to enter the room. There was no turn-around space whatsoever. In order to shut the bathroom door, you had to back up past the toilet and then close the door because it wouldn't close otherwise due to how tiny the bathroom was. I am a smaller person and I could not imagine anyone much larger being comfortable. There were not ice machines on every floor as in most hotels. If there was, I couldn't find one, even after making an entire walk around the floor I stayed on. Must go to the first floor for your ice. The hotel was quiet for the most part; the only thing I could hear from time to time was the opening and closing of other patrons doors, but that is to be expected in any hotel. If I had to stay more than one night, I would have either asked for a larger room or moved to another hotel because I just didn't feel comfortable in such tight quarters. When we arrived at the hotel we were not informed that the entrance was under construction, so it was a little confusing where to find the entrance and we had to park a little further away when we checked in. We were not expecting the hotel to be under construction! There was no mention of this in Expedia's info. We were likewise surprised that upon check-in we were handed a notification that we would have to be out of our rooms at 930 -1230 the following day so that new furniture could be installed! This was not mentioned in Expedia's info either. So basically, […] we paid (in advance to Expedia) for all three days/nights, but three hours on our first day we were basically inconvenienced--we didn't feel secure leaving anything in the room as workmen would be moving in and out...nor were we able to unpack our clothes and use the dresser, end tables, or desk the following morning... until the work was completed... upon our departure, the headboard had yet to be re-installed...we were asked to leave a credit card for incidental charges, but were not reimbursed for the hassle of the construction or the furniture replacement... one other note... since many of the construction workers were staying at the hotel, several of their vehicles took up parking places...that we had been guaranteed in our reservation...
