It was much pricier than I'm used to paying. However, all the attributes was worth it. It was a Saurday night and the hotel was full. As a result, Sunday's excellent breakfast (for a hotel) was graciously extended, with fine staff service, which many other guests also appreciated. I normally wiil not give anybody a perfect score, as anything in life, always has room for improvement. So this means I was really impressed. If I were to suggest anything, my room carpet was starting to show some age but it was clean like the whole hotel with no odor problems anywhere. Have to expect that from carpet. If all hotels were like this, which includes a great personable staff, I would be a happy hoteller, wherever my travels take me.

Room was small, but clean and comfortable. Staff was pleasant. Lots of restaurants around the hotel. Easy drive to downtown and ballpark. Would definitely try another Comfort Inn.

I was traveling through Grand Rapids on business for one night. The hotel is spotless - everything from the lobby to the fitness center to my own room is in great shape. The staff is professional and provides the service one would expect from a 4+ star hotel. I stay in a lot of hotels and I was really impressed. Fantastic deal for the price. I'd definitely stay there again if passing through the area.

This was our 2nd stay at the Comfort Inn Airport Grand Rapids. Upon check in we discovered that the Park & Fly option , which is why we booked the hotel is not available when booked through expedia. We had to pay extra for that convenience. When booking I didn't question it because the price was the same direct from the hotel as it was through Expedia. Because I have trust in Expedia I booked through them. It would be nice if Park & Fly could've made available no matter how rooms are booked.

My wife and I were very impressed with the management and staff of this hotel. They were extremely attentitive to our needs (quickly offering to refill the lobby coffee pot when it was running low) and helpful with providing printed directions around Grand Rapids. We also noted the housekeeping staff were exceptionally well organized and upbeat as they worked.

Our stay at the Comfort Inn Airport in Grand Rapids, MI was very pleasant due to the friendliness of the staff. Each staff member we encountered, 5 in all, was outgoing, friendly and polite. It was very nice to have the desk staff wish a nice evening when we headed out. It was great to have the housekeeping staff stop by in the morning and ask when would be the best time to clean our room. It was welcoming at breakfast to be asked if there was anything we needed to complete our hot breakfast. We would definitely return to this location!

Desk staff was awesome and friendly and helpful. Location to airport excellent. Property is older and dated, needs some freshening other than the typical Comfort Inn bedding/décor. Heater was quite tricky to set temp as the dial has long been worn out so its a guess as to where the setting marker is. Bed is incredibly hard and would not recommend that for more than one night. The breakfast items were either heavily refrigerated or frozen/thawing so the pastries were very cold. This trip it was all about proximity to the GR airport so that's what I got.

Hotel staff greeted us warmly and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. We were invited (not told) to the evening reception area/activities and breakfast the following morning. Directions to the room were precise and the accomodations were clean and comfortable. Doors/walls are a little thin but that's to be expected in a busy hotel! Would definitely rebook this location.

For a quickie business trip to Grand Rapids, the Comfort Inn Airport was ideal. No frills, but everything just as I like it, and that includes having a clean bathroom. Internet was strong and reliable.

Overall, the stay was just fine. I have never had a problem at this hotel. This time we were placed next to the Maintenance room and the door kept slamming at 430am! Very rude! The breakfast person was very friendly as we were in there after the time. She was willing to get us anything needed.

Staff was great. Rooms are a little tired, as was hallways/lobby. 28th st is crowded, but therefore lots of stuff in area.

We could hear EVERYTHING in the next room, all the way to the fingers scratching their sheets! We did not dare make any sounds for fear they could hear us, too! Are the condition of your wall made of paper???!! Also, breakfast was closed too soon! Why does it close down by 9:30 am?

Grand Rapids Visitor - first and foremost thank you so much for your candid response. We truly take the guest comments to heart and build many of our plans of guest insights. In regard to your question, our breakfast actually runs two hours longer than most comparable properties. Our breakfast begins at 4:30 in the morning in order to accommodate the huge percentage of our guests that travel to and from the airport. We had a nice stay. It is not our usual place to stay in GR but we decided it was a good substitute.

Very close to food and things to do. Short ride to the airport. The breakfast was nicely done. Our room was quite warm and we ended up turning on the coolers. The outside temp was well below freezing, there was no wall control for temp.

The service and bedding at this hotel were exceptional given the price. The 'continental' breakfast was quite a spread including waffle maker, juices, eggs, sausage. Although it is slightly out of downtown area, didn't take long to get there and would definitely stay there again!

I stayed at the hotel for 6 days and I should admit that it was really neat. Clean room, great breakfast, good workout area. My only concern was the internet connection. It was either dead slow or dead. If you are on a business trip and rely on internet, this hotel mightn't help you.The sad part is even after notifying the front desk and the management , they didn't care. I sent couple of emails later to the management and it looks like those went to a black hole. Didn't expect this kind of acknowledgement or care given to customer's concerns from a hotel that was rated one of the best in 2010. Other than that, no complaints.

Stranded at the airport after a flight cancel, I stayed here based on reviews. Not only did they shuttle me to and from the airport in sub zero snowing conditions, but the hotel is better than your standard budget hotel. The staff was friendly, helpful, and they have a deal with Carrabbas next door for a discount appetizer(which I didn't know about until later, but no worries) I liked staying here more than I did at a Hilton the next night.

Very nice place to stay, would definitely return. My only complaint would be that the Wi-Fi signal didn't reach to the room I was staying in. Other than that, very nice staff and the room was top notch for the price.

The hotel was great. Friendly staff, great breakfast, room was very clean. Our TV in the room was not working properly and they quickly offered us a new room. The fitness room was nice also. would definitely stay again!!! Thank You
