We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed for a week and were glad to find a hotel right in the heart of Times Square. The service was definitely top notch! The front desk was courteous and the concierge was very helpful, recommending great shows and restaurants. Our room was nice. It could've been a little larger. But the bathroom was a good size and the size of the TV's and the fact that they played HD was a bonus. Also, the bed was quite comfortable. The cleaning staff did a fine job of keeping up the room. I'll definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Finding a "GOOD THING" these days can get harder and harder. For this reason when you come across a 'good thing" it is priceless. One of the most recent "good things " that I have come across is the PARAMOUNT hotel in Times Square. The first thing that I leave the hotel impressed by is the professionalism and commitment that is demonstrated by the staff. Starting with the front desk where I was checked in by Catherine and continuing until the driver which I received at the hotel hands me my luggage at the airport. Catherine followed the details of my visit until the moment I checked out. The only dislike that I had which eventually i got over was the view of the alley where the boiler or some loud machine was placed. I know that from now on I will request a room that faces anywhere but there. If you are going to New York and plan on taking in Broadway there could not be a more perfect location. I love this hotel so much I find myself wanting to travel to NYC more. I cannot wait until my next visit to the PARAMOUNT which I hope will be in the next few weeks.

My wife and I have stayed at the Courtyard in Mahwah three of the last four years to attend the NEAF astronomy show at the Rockland Community College in Suffern, just a few minutes away. We've always had good a experience and this stay was no different. The recent renovations definitely spruced the hotel up. The pool and spa area was nice, although the acoustics in the room left my ears ringing after a group of children in the pool were not using their "indoor voices." Our room was very clean, everything worked well, including the internet connection (which is a wired connection) and having a Dunkin Donuts right next door makes a stay here worthwhile in my humble opinion! Just grab a coffee and a bagel sandwich and go. The rates are competitive with other hotels in the area. If someone on here rates the hotel low, they must be comparing it to a five-star city hotel or maybe a destination resort. It's not that, but it is a clean and decent place to stay while traveling for business or short-term pleasure. I believe we will stay there again next year.

Very nice hotel, within walking distance to subway for access to Manhattan (take the 7 or E and you can get to grand central, times square, penn station). Just a few blocks to local restaraunts. The room was very clean, excellent staff, free shuttle to subway. Overall an excellent place to stay if your touring new york city. One note, if you are considering a "view room" save your money, the view is obstructed by a number of taller buildings (the hotel is only 7 floors). Overall an excellent experience and I would definitely stay again, especially at the rate because of the new hotel discount. If you plan to take a cab from the hotel call one yourself because the service the hotel uses charges a flat rate to specific areas and you can get a cab on your own for cheaper generally.
Nix the cramped quarters of Manhattan and enjoy the sizable rooms of La Quinta Inn and Suites Secaucus Meadowlands. This all-suite hotel is just a 5-minute drive from concert venue IZOD Center and New Meadowlands Stadium (future site of the 2014 Super Bowl). Bus station across from Hotel:very convenient. Everyone helpful...Great breakfast included...Room clean and nice. Did need to ask for soap and shampoo. No big deal. Would go there again....

Great to finally find a hotel that does not mind having our large furry friends as guests too! I took my two labs with me whichwas great, no crazy kennel bill waiting for me back home! Breakfast was awesome and included in the price! Would definatelystay here again when i visit NYC!!!!

La Quinta Inn & Suites seems like away from main area but I found it to be really convenient to travel to NY form here with some NJ transit bus and made me and my friends life much easier. "Disappointed for Thanksgiving"
We stayed here because the rates were cheaper than in the city on the night before the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. This hotel was nice, but there were a lot of things that disappointed us. There were no remotes for the TVs, did not have enough linens or pillows. When we called housekeeping, we had to leave a voicemail that was NEVER answered. We enjoyed our stay very much. The room was comfortable and very clean. The continental breakfast was the biggest and best we've ever had. The bus service across the street was very convenient, but since we were there during the holidays, we experienced unusual delays at the Lincoln Tunnel.

The hotel was good for a last minute person. The pool was extremely chlorinated leaving my childrens' eyes very red and irritated. It was very close to all the excite and conveniently located right next to bus stop! Would stay if only hotel available in area!

This hotel was an excellent location for a base to visit NYC. Hotel itself is unremarkable, but clean and comfortable. Free breakfast is free, and served only on styrofoam plates. Adequate. The bus location is so close, and so convenient. Hotel staff very helpful with all details for negotiating bus schedule.

We chose this La Quinta for its location. We traveled into NYC quite a few times and the bus stop was right across the street. Just a 20 minute ride and it brought us into the Port Authority and ran until 1am or so. Perfect! Also the hotel offers a shuttle TO the NFL games, but note, they DO NOT pick up from the game (due to traffic). You'll need to […] find another way back to the hotel. Our room was OK, could use new carpeting and even though it was a non smoking room, it smelled of cigarettes. The pool was supposed to be open but was locked when we tried to use it. The cleaning service did a great job each day, and the front desk personnel were extremely helpful. The included breakfast had plenty of choices and was tasty, but the eating area was a little barren and cold. Really a poor stay with our room not even having maid service. Hotel management didn't seem too concerned or upset---just sort of ho-hum and sorry. Back to Marriott for us and we had 3 rooms for family stay at this LaQuinta. You really need to do a better job with 'customer care'. STK

Everyone at this hotel was wonderful. The breakfast buffet was super, my boys and I loved it. The desk clerk was knowledgable about the area and very helpful. The bus stops right across the street and for $5.90 round trip you can go to midtown Manhatten and back. I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

The Secaucus La Quinta is one of the best places to stay if you are looking for easy accessiblity into Manhattan. The rooms are large, clean, and offer a lot of extras like refrigerators and microwaves. Free Breakfast and internet are included. The indoor pool is heated, although the temp hovered around 82. There is a luxury bus that has a pick up about […] every 25 min. that goes into Manhattan and runs until 1am. Barring rush hour, you can get into Manhattan in about 20 min. and a roundtrip ticket was very reasonable. Our company, covers a 700 mile radius from Danbury, CT. We are working in the area, and as we have rested at many La Quinta suites, (and other hotels). This location has been by far the most plush and friendly. The baby grand piano stole my attention. But from what I have observed, they are vary accommodating to tourist. Great access to all highways, But if your are driving, bring your GPS. and stay out of the passing lanes .( that is the lane to the most left.) I did not want to leave. Stayed for two night for working in NY. Bus out front if you need it, unfortunately I had to drive in the city. The hotel staff was courteous and helpful, free breakfast, nice big clean rooms, what more could you ask for ?

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Easy access to MTA bus in to New York city for sight seeing. Good selection of restaurants around hotel. "Nice BUT"

Everything met my expectations. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and it was quiet so I could sleep. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel for trips into NYC. The best part of my stay was the helpful staff. While in the city, my son lost his wallet. Evelyn was so very helpful in calling the musem and the cab companies. She arranged […] a cab for us to backtrack and find the wallet. By the time we got back to the hotel, she was leaving and we had not eaten and there were no restaurants open and we had no car, so she took us to pick up some food. The Hotel was modern, clean and neat. Room was ample with comfortable beds. The "in room" internet was sooooooo sloooooow and I continually had to reconnect to stay online. Speed was 0.4mps. I was unable to watch a video clip and had to go down to lobby to finish watching the video. Not good for online work. Breakfast was included and was adequate. My husband, granddaughter and I had a wonderful stay at La Quinta. Unfortunatly our stay was very short and busy. The staff was very helpful when we were making our plans to travel into NYC. The room was very clean and comfortable. Great hotel!

The hotel was surprisingly modern, clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, the hotel restaurant and bar closed unexpectedly forcing me to go out to eat and relax. Fortunately, the nearby expo center and shopping plaza is home to numerous restaurants and entertainment venues. Great Location for NYC access! Room okay, but we selected this hotel so we could swim...smelled chemicals, but pool was so hazy - we have pool at home, and bacteria when this hazy! The carpet in the elevators was not vacumned once during our 2 nt stay, we saw the same papers in the corners of elevators.. Housekeeping was difficult, after long, hot (95 […] degrees) day in city, we arrived back to shower at 6:30pm, and room was not made up. The attendent on floor tried to tell us they tried to come at 2pm, and said we were there...lies!!! We were in NYC!! Left at 9:15am. Told Front Desk and they immediately had attendants come, but attendants tried to argue with us - we were being nice!!! Attendants then tried to say they did not speak English!!! I offered a few words in Spanish and one got mad and walked away.. overall, would not go there, there's about 4 other hotels in the immediate area with the same access to NYC! Read more

"Good for location and price"
Great location and good price. Bus at door takes you to city for $8 R/T. Or drive to midtown in about 15 minutes. Only drawbacks were limited parking spaces out front but plenty next door in parking garage. Also small breakfast area for large number of guests. But all in all very nice hotel and would definitely stay again.
"Convienient for all directions."
I'd definately stay there again. It was easy to go in all directions. The hardest thing is finding the hotel in the complex. That can be a challenge. But once you do it's very enjoyable.

I would recommend this hotel only for its good location and complimentary breakfast .Nothing else was good . Service was extremely poor. The internet connection did not work the first day and I had to be on call with tech solution team for almost an hour before they could get it working. It worked only for a day and then stopped the other day . Next […] day again had to be on call for almost 45 minutes to get it working. The coffee maker worked only for a day and then the second day it did not and they had to send a replacement. The phone lines also went down and I had to go all the way down to front desk for requesting stuff. Room service was also not prompt and would only come after repeated reminders. All in all, the only good thing about the hotel was it had a bus stand right next to it which was the easiest way to go to Port Authority , NYC . Also the complimentary breakfast was good. Read more
