Location of hotel is perfect! Right on the strip and close to the beach. Hotel is pretty and rooms are great. Asked for more towels and never got them but other than that it was a great stay! Will go back again

The hotel rooms need to be renovated. The lobby and pool area is nice but the rooms are less than sufficient for the price. There is not even an overhead light or lamp in the room with significant light. There were at least a lot of tv channels...they actually had Starz.

When we first got there we got there little bit early and was hoping to get a room,checking wasn't until 4 o'clock pm, Coming from LA I thought that was rather late to get a check in time , so We waited and waited until i noticed that people were getting their rooms before we did , It wasn't until about 3 hours when the desk hand finally gave us a double, […] he did end up taking our resort fees off, about $75 hardly worth it, The room was fairly small for a double but pretty clean, I was quite displeased that of the 4 days I was there I never got a hot shower, the water just stayed warm. Also, if you don't roll up with a sweet ride, the valet will be parking your car about 4 blocks away, so add 20 -30 minutes anytime you want your car. There was no mentioning that this is not "Hotel", but in fact a "COndo-hotel"; each room belong to different owner and furnishing in the rooms (we've seen 9! rooms before settling down) could be renewed for the money been charged. Walls (especially in the closet) are showing mold damamges, closets do not have shelves; bathrooms accessories and plumbing […] is from last century, literally! And the "best" of all is an abnoctious charge for "ocean-view" or "pool-vew" rooms! Don't be discouraged by the $ 25 per day facility fee, which covers 2 people, so that is $ 12.50 eadh. It is a great deal for South Beach. It includes your beach chairs and umbrellas. We give it 0 stars. We travel a lot both in US and abroad. The only positive was Rafael the concierge. Other than that, horrible. We were told at check-in that it had been purchased by Wyndham and would be remodeled again in the near future. Wyndham should shut it down today and level the place. Rooms were filthy and looked like they had been furnished with whatever fell off the truck. Not safe. Our door looked like it had been kicked in. Parts of the vent were falling from the ceiling. I decided to head to the pool one day and was challenged at the entry by a "security guard" only to find out that the pool is rented out to some external "beach party" (maybe to locals?) and half the pool deck and area is rented out to this external group. Really insulting--especially when one is paying a daily resort fee for towels (really?), internet access (you're kidding??) The "fee" is also for a continental breakfast that the front desk told us ran to 11 a.m. to find once we arrived at 10:30 one morning that it actually ends at 10. (Or did it?) The place is poorly managed, needs to be overhauled completely and Wyndham needs to know that they have A LOT to overcome. Small, basic rooms- no frills. Which was fine considering the amount of time you actually spend in the room. Comfortable beds. Good walking distance to Lincoln St. and all the resturants & shopping. - Bit of a hike to Ocean ave. Overall happy with time there- had a great view on the 8th floor.

Do not expect what you see in the pictures that are posted. The rooms are small bedrooms furnished with Ikea-like quality furniture. Walls are very thin. Carpet is horrible. Good: Pool area, beach access, location --- all fantastic. Bad: Rooms were not clean, terribly outdated, and in some cases falling apart with bad beds, and furniture and rusting fixtures. If you're going to stay here you must pay the extra $ to get a room upgrade otherwise it's not worth the price.

Front desk staff was great. My white bedspread had a big urine stain on it and the light switch in the closet had been removed so the light stayed on until the bulb was turned off by the engineer. It resembled a hostel. Old furniture beat-up door frames. We noticed the bed was a single (they said it was a queen--no way, but we paid for a king/queen) floors were old. I got in the shower and the tub would not drain. We went downstairs and asked for another room. In our second room, the furniture was more updated. Still not overly pleasing but it was basic and more acceptable than first room. On our last night I woke up to a running water noise. Rooms could be a little nicer. Lots of construction. Looked at three different rooms and must say some rooms are better then others. Should not require guest to pay for daily drinks between 4-6pm. It should be optional; I don't drink! Overall not a bad hotel, would stay again for the price.

We payed a mandatory $25 per person for breakfast and we were never told about it until 4 days later. The service is great, very sweet . The place is dirty and needs to b rehabd . They pumped all the money in the entrance, curb appeal , lobby , pool and landscaping . The rooms are substandard.
