It served its purpose. I wouldn't stay for an extended period, but it was the perfect place to crash after a wedding.

The hotel was very easy to find, as it was directly off of I-80. The room was clean and included everything that was promised. The only problem we encountered was the noise from the interstate. Our room was located on the back side of the hotel, nearest the highway. Fortunately for us, we were do tired, the noise didn't really bother us.

Very clean, convenient location --- however, not good maintenance/customer service - had problem w/leaking bathtub 1st night, reported next morning to 2 ladies at front desk, said it'd be taken care of - got back to room at 9:00 p.m., got settled in, bathtub still had problem, lady at front desk said no record of maintenance being done in our room, […] apologized, offered another room but by then it was late & we were all settled in - next morning at check-out reminded them of problem, was told that maintenance had been busy all day & couldn't get to our room - unsatisfied with lack of communication on their part, why couldn't they have slipped note under our door or left msg. on phone - had we known it hadn't been fixed we would've changed room prior to settling in for the night - also, why didn't lady at front desk know anything about our problem? Yes, cleanliness is very important, but so is customer service. So, not sure if I'd stay here again. I probably wouldn't recommend it because cust. service is important to other people, too, and there are many other hotels in the area to choose from. Read more

We stayed in this hotel twice on our trip. The first time we were in a room with two double beds - it was very crowded, just not enough room. This was a pretty decent hotel. Most Econo Lodge chains are motels, so we were pleasantly surprised to see that this was a hotel. The front desk clerks were incredibly nice. We were in town to run a 10k and asked for an extended check-out time, which they were glad to offer us! The hotel recently had a water mainbreak and was suffering from serious […] remodeling due to that, but there was sufficient signage to indicate this. The continental breakfast was great- lots of options and a nice space for eating. My only semi-issue the whole weekend was that I couldn't get the internet to connect at all on Friday night. The only thing going for this place is the location in you need to be near Blackman St. The room constantly had a damp odor, especially upon entering. It was not cleaned well: there were cut hairs all over the bathroom floor on day 2 after the maid "cleaned." The breakfast was at best a kid's delight with sugar sweetened cereals and overly sweetened […] yoghurts. Way too many carbs! This hotel was a little pricey for being basic. But the cleanliness was worth paying extra. The rooms and hotel looked very clean. Also, the staff were very friendly and helpful. They printed directions for my family to get to a wedding. Definitely recommend.

Hotel requires copy of credit card & drivers license from guests with online reserviations at check in. Stayed here for weekend visit to West Point. Easy, scenic 2 hr drive to USMA from hotel (at posted speed limits). Continental breakfast […] was adequate, but not great. Cold cereal, toast, & hard boiled eggs. Perkins is located across parking lot; mall with several other food options is within a couple of miles of hotel. Discounts for hotel guests at Perkins & Applebees. Had pizza delivered from Dominos - no discount. Location is easy to find from SB81 exit; a little drive from NB83 exit. Area was OK, a little rundown & not a lot of people around on weekend. Freeway runs immediately behind hotel at an elevation. There are a lot of extended stay guests here. Hotel has grill & lawn chairs set up in back of hotel for their use. Location was outside our room. We were not disturbed by any noise from other guests or freeway. Hotel was VERY quiet. Make sure to check windows when you check in - we were on first floor & window was not locked. Screens were off for window washing. Locked window & had no other incidents. The price was right, the room was clean, and staff even went so far as to find me a bottle opener when I realized I brought a bottle of water that wasn't a screw-top. Overall the best deal I've found in the city after many, many trips.

We had in-room coffee maker, fridge, microwave, plenty of towels and wash cloths, soap, shampoo and lotion.
