Baymont Inn And Suites New Braunfels - New Braunfels

We stayed five nights at the Baymont Inn while house hunting. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. Staff was pleasant and continental breakfast was what you would expect--nothing fancy. Easy access to the hotel from I-35 and convenient to many local attractions as well. We would definitely stay again.

We were traveling with our 10 month old and requested a crib for our room after checking their website to see if it was an option. When I checked in I was informed that they do not have cribs, which I found particularly odd since it was also in the information book in the room under guest services. The location was good. Desk clerk was welcoming. The room was better than I expected. Breakfast selection was just OK. Very quiet! Amentities were good. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Clean and economical was what my wife and I were looking for near the outlet mall, and that is exactly what we got! The carpet seemed new and the king-size bed was fairly comfortable. We did not check in until almost midnight, so we were tired. (Especially since we traveled with two small children.) checkout was at noon. We ate breakfast & then proceeded to get ready. Housekeeping knocked in the door 3 times wanting to clean our room. Since there was no 'Do not disturb' sign to place on the door, they kept interrupting our morning. […] While my husband packed the vehicle, I was gathering things so we could leave. Staff was absolutely wonderful! Responsive to every need and request. Everything was kept clean including rooms, common areas, pool area and outside. Best quality and service for a hotel in this class/price range. Would definitely stay again.

Had a great stay at the Baymont, clean room and quiet night sleep. Nice helpful staff. Word of warning, the keycards easily deactivate if close (at all) to a cell phone. Had a great time there and I will be back no doubt.

The rooms were ok a little over priced. We rented two rooms and the one room had ants in the bathroom. Continental breakfast was ok, pastries and bagels were stale one morning and the creamer was spoiled.

The hotel was fairly clean - the main thing I noticed were fruit loops from the breakfast on the floor in the hall outside our door - most of them were gone the next day, but not all. The only bad thing about this hotel was that it was on the side of i-35. This made the pool and smoking areas of the hotel very noisy due to traffic. The inside of the hotel is very clean, renovated, good internet connection, and our room had a plasma tv. The pool and jacuzzi were clean as well.

The hotel wasn't dirty, per say, but in our room, the outside wall was stained with water damage, the toilet had that "almost pink rim stain" in it. The outlets were very loose, which worried me. And the top bed sheet was stained with a beverage so it was our assumption that it hadn't even been washed after the last guest. Good thing we brought blankets […] from home and used those instead. The only reason we didn't call for new sheets is because we arrived for check-in at almost midnight and went right to bed and had to leave at 7:00 a.m. to start our day. After having had a bad experience of theft at one of the last hotels we stayed at, we chose to place the Do Not Disturb sign out so that the maids would not enter to "clean". I will say the front desk staff was very nice and helpful and the breakfast was decent. But I guess the cliche "you get what you pay for" is true for this hotel. Read more

The hotel was easy access off 35ih the room was very clean. TV programing could be a little better very limited on channel selction. Over all the staff and the hotel was very well kept and friendly staff which makes a big difference above all the others I have stay at.

WE ENJOYED OUR STAY, AS STATED PREVIOUSLY, THE ROOM WAS CLEAN, HOTEL CLEAN OVERALL. THE ONLY ISSUE WE HAVE IS THE WI FI. WE WERE LOCATED AT THE FAR END OF THE HOTEL AND THE SIGNAL WAS WEAK, IF WE TRIED TO OPEN UP TWO WINDOWS ON OUR BROWSER THE SYSTEM TOOK FOREVER TO LOAD OR NOT AT ALL. THIS IS THE REASON FOR THE OVERALL RATING OF 4.

Housekeeping was an absolute nightmare! The housekeeper was going from one room to another without using gloves. Due to the language barrier...she was unable to meet my needs. However, I should not had to ask for more clean towels, pick up the dirty towels off the floor, vacuum the floor, and empty a very obvious full trash can.
