It was great as usual. That's why I go there as often as I can. Service was great and prompt. All amenities in the hotel worked just fine. Rooms are always super clean. This is the Quality Inn at Ft. Belvoir in Alexandria, VA.

We really enjoyed our 6 night stay here. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the continental breakfast was just right. Location to DC was distant but the convinience of having a car was not all that bad to drive there. Easy access on Hwy 1 into DC was easy and restraunts, gas stations and supermarkets on Hwy 1 helped with our needs.

To me this hotel is on par with a Motel 6 with a courtyard. The rooms though small, were very clean. My complaint would be the lack of hot water. The hotel wasn't even full and my family had to take cold showers. I mean ice cold! I had to come back 2 times from the room since it wasn't ready when they offered, miscommunication from the front desk Lady with the cleaning people, and overall tried to blame it on me. The comfort of the Hotel was outstanding but the service it was bad.

It was ok, not great. Thought that it was over priced, given the overall condition of the hotel. I stayed there because of its proximity to Fort Belvoir and that it had a treadmill in its fitness room. Was very disappointed when the fitness room had no treadmill. We found a roach in our room and the hot watt shut off half way through the shower. However the breakfast was great in comparison to other hotels in that price range. The bed was comfortable too, they really need to pay attention to cleanliness and the overall upkeep.

This is a good hotel for the money, however, they run a copy of your credit card number upon check-in. When I nicely questioned the clerk, he became "snippy" with me and said the paper would be shredded in the morning. The clerk working the morning shift said I couldn't have the paper back because it was already sent to the main office (she never mentioned […] it would be shredded). The hotel is clean and comfortable, and an easy straightforward 7 miles away from the subway which can bring you to Reagan Airport or DC. Power is provided by a plug strip nailed to the wall. The iron is cabled to the ironing board so you dont steal it as is the coffee pot and hair dryer. Major dump. Avoid at all cost.

Not a good stay. Lost power at 10:30 pm. Upon checking out that following morning power had not been restored. I was not offered any compensation for a night of discomfort. The first room we had was left unlock and open when we arrived. The air conditioner was broken and our room was so hot and muggy we were unable to sleep. We eventually got another room with an air conditioner that worked. Overall the hotel had many maintenance problems. However it was clean and the courtyard is really pretty.

Good location. No pool or hot tub. Smoking allowed outside rooms was disturbing. We were in a non-smoking room yet people were allowed to smoke outside the room on the balcony - bad smell in room from the smoke.
