Clean, comfortable and very affordable. My friends kids loved the pool, the bathrooms were really modern, everything in the rooms seemed very updated and/or newly remodeled.

Complaint we had was the room we paid for ONLINE was not what we got when we checked in and still paid the same rate :(....Breakfast is from 6:30-9:30 there was very little to no food left when we got there at 8:30 both mornings and they were not going to put any more out with a hour left to serve...

I was surprised of the condition of the hotel given the price. Room looked recently remodeled and was clean. Nice flat screen TV. The pool is roughly the size of a postage stamp but with the slide my kids had fun. All's good right? We thought so until we tried to get some sleep. You could hear pool noise long past the 10pm close along with kids running […] up and down the hall. This stopped around 12 just in time for the "bars are closing" drunk crowd to show up. It sounded like a party was going on in the hallway until about 2. Then from 2 until about 6AM a domestic dispute erupted in one of the rooms across the hall with doors slamming, furniture crashing around, screaming and swearing which my 8 year old got to listen to. No action was taken by the front desk staff to get them to be quiet. Next night, lather, rinse, repeat. This time the staff did make an attempt to quiet things down and told me when I called the front desk at 2:30 am that they had called the police on the fighting couple but I don't believe the police showed up. For obvious safety reasons we stayed in our room. At one point the screaming woman was so loud I expected to see a chalk outline when I finally did go out in the hall the next morning. It did quiet down the second night around 3 AM so my kids were able to get about 3 hours of sleep. I would say we clocked in about 6 hours of sleep total over 2 nights. Very nice, the door to the room we stayed in had damage to it, it stuck when we tried to open or close the door. we stayed on bottom floor so we could hear people running on the top floor.

The stay was ok. The room still had coffee in the coffee pot and a previous guest's socks under the bed when we arrived. The outside doors to the motel were not locked for security.

The hotel was very nice and the staff very friendly and helpful. The housekeeping well, there was cheesy puffs on the floor from the previous guests. That was under the table and back against the wall, but when I went to use the wall socket I saw the remnants. Other than that the room was clean.

First few minutes in the room the toilet over flowed, when we called the front desk someone came up and had us shut the water off and handed us a plunger and showed us where the towels are to clean it up.

There was a smell I think plumbing maybe. Didn't notice after in room for a while. My husband couldn't sleep because of it but I slept fine. Other then that beds were comfortable, looked newly remodeled for 39 bucks couldn't beat it!

When checked into our room about 1:30 am and upon using the bathroom I found hair in the bathtub, I did call the front desk and let them know was asked if I wanted to move to another room but at that hour I was too tired. The cleanliness of the room was not very good. Poor service.

We were very happy with our stay until the continental breakfast the next morning. They only had 6 of the 15 items listed on their menu available and a few of those that were available were beverages. The lady working breakfast was very irritated and was telling people they would have to warm up the biscuits/gravy b/c the biscuits were frozen and the […] gravy was cold. There was no fruit, eggs, waffle mix and only one cereal option. We ended up having to go out to breakfast and just had orange juice at the hotel. We arrived late and had a very nice, friendly woman check us in. They were able to accommodate our need for a first floor room because of an oxygen tank my husband needed. This was the nicest one we stayed in our whole trip and we stopped in 5 locations. The room had outside entry which makes it easy to tote cats in and out. The pool and hot tub were nice and there was great customer service. We definitely want to go back to Rapid City Econo lodge

We paid a little amount for our room, & when we got there, we were actually surprised. Very nice room, huge flatscreen tv, remodeled bathroom, & very clean. I would give this motel 4.5. Only because the night clerk wasn't that friendly. Overall, we will stay again.

Clean. Worth the money. Only problem I had was with the desk staff. They appeared lack-luster in their efforts to greet and/or assist. Example #1, my car battery died and I asked the desk to help me locate a mechanic and/or a place to buy a battery. They couldn't find the phone book, wouldn't look anything up online for me and then just shrugged and […] left me to ask other hotel patrons for assistance. Example #2, the pool area has a huge slide and it clearly says "only one person per slide" but yet they were allowing kids and adults to slide down two, three and four people at a time. I mentioned something to the desk staff and all I got was a shrug and no other response. Overall we had a nice stay. The hotel was good, the beds were comfortable and the stay was pleasant. Continental breakfast was sufficient for my husband. Kids eat gluten/dairy free so choices were limited. Kids enjoyed the pool and water slide. We would stay again.
