I was very happy on how nice the hotel was. Everything exceeded my expectations. It's not like the Ritz, but it was a wonderful experience. I would definitely stay there again!

Very anticeptic - strictly business. Kind of out of the way, not within walking distance of anything. New - everything works - food at hotel fair. Go here if you are on business, not for entertainment. It is perfect for getting stuff done without distractions.

We ended up staying two nights insert of one because we were very imoressed with the facility and service.
Location.
Located in Calgary (Montgomery - University of Calgary), Comfort Inn & Suites, University is close to McMahon Stadium, University of Calgary, and Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium. Also nearby are Calgary Tower and TELUS World of Science, Calgary.
Hotel Features.
Comfort Inn & Suites, University has an indoor pool, a spa tub, and a fitness facility. Wireless and wired high-speed Internet access is complimentary in public areas. Guests are served a complimentary breakfast. Additional amenities include multilingual staff, laundry facilities, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. Guest parking is complimentary. This is a smoke-free property.
Guestrooms.
The 82 air-conditioned guestrooms at Comfort Inn & Suites, University include safes and coffee/tea makers. Complimentary wireless and wired high-speed Internet access is provided. "Ok if you want a bed"
Acceptable with no frills attached. Good location for the Foothills Hospital.

My hotel stay was decent. The room was clean, but the comforters on the beds as well as the beds themselves were a little outdated and not too comfortable. "Comfort Inn & Suites, Calgary (university), AB"
Hotel was well-appointed and close to light rail line and medical services. While posted and advertised as a non-smoking room, room 402 smelled of smoke and the front desk admitted that from time-to-time guests did smoke in the n/s rooms. We would only stay again after making sure the smoke smell was absent.

"Would Stay Here Again"
We stayed here the first night of our travels and then came back to stay 2 more days when we returned to Calgary for the Stampede. The hotel is conveniently located right across the street from the train that takes you into downtown Calgary. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The only small problem is that there is not enough room in the area they […] have set aside for the complimentary breakfast to seat all the guests that seem to show up at the same time! "Worst sleep ever"
The place was clean however the mattress was just too hard coil spring style . Not firm

On two separate days I asked the main receptionist for an early morning wake-up call at 6:15 am. No wake-up call was received. Also a bus was running its engine in the parking lot below my hotel room for almost an hour.
It was a comfortable hotel right next to the lrt (C-Train) that takes you everywhere. The only thing that was disappointing was that they had so many people there that for breakfast they ran out of everything super early because so many people showed up (some taking more than they should) and we didnt get breakfast even though we were there early. "Great hotel close to transit."
My stay at the Comfort Inn and Suites University was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was very clean and welcoming. The location is great if you are planning on visiting Calgary without a vehicle because it is right beside the C-Train which can connect you with basically all parts of the city.
"Good price and comfortable beds"
We stayed in Comfort Inn for 3 nights in April 2012. Our rooms were average however we had 2 rooms booked and there were a few issues. Our tap leaked heavily when turned on fully and we had toilet plugging and slow sink drainage. The toilet issue was addressed but not fully resolved. The desk staff and breakfast lady were very friendly and helpful. […] continental breakfast was good with adequate selection and helped save on food costs. The pool and waterside were very clean with lots of natural light. I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again. Nothing fancy but it has great beds and is very affordable. Being a first time user of Hotels.com I was apprehensive about what kind of hotel choice I made. From check-in to check-out the stay was a good experience. The hotel was primarily chosen to be close to the Foothills Hospital. Calgary's C train was located directly across the street affording us the opportunity to use it to go the the Calgary Zoo. The pillows were so uncomfortable it was a good thing we had our own in the car. There was garbage under the bed and the bed wasn't all that comfortable either but we really liked the location and that was what kept us there the 2 nights.

"Convenience and Good Service"
Close drive to central Calgary. Stayed here before and found the front desk service very helpful and friendly. Clean room, comfortable bed, safe environment around the hotel. Close to LRT across the street. A little noisy when there is a floor above, but not unruly. I will definitely return. Price was right and very affordable.

Clean and helpful staff. There was a mix-up with the allocation of rooms soon on my arrival.
The cleanliness of the room was poor but at least the staff were friendly. The hot tub did not work properly. This hotel has gone downhill from past stays!
the best thing about this hotel is the location to transportation - the hotel needs a major update - the rooms are clean but cold - turning on the heating was extremely noisy - unable to sleep with the heating on

"if you just want a clean place to sleep...."
The hotel is not new, no fancy decaration, but it is clean, nice staffs, safe area, reasonable price ... if you are not those people stay there entire day, but just a nice place to sleep, it is clean and quiet!! Great value, why not!!
"Overpriced for what you get"
I felt that the hotel.ca rate for this room was high...regular rate must have been way over what it should have been for the simplicity of the room.

The hotel was nice and clean, the pool slide was great for the kids. The only down side was the selection of breakfast items. More healthier options, i.e. more fruit, yogurt, etc would have been nice.

Stayed for 1 night. Overall my wife and I were very pleased with this hotel. Being in a less expensive category we thought it was a good value for the money. "It is what it is."
for the price this is simply a place to sleep. Needs updating. Amada at the front desk was super kind and put me on the top floor corner unit. Very quiet. Breakfast chaotic and simply ok.
"Dirty and cheap"
We paid for an upgraded 'suite' and the room was small and gross. All of the amenities including linens were old. There were spots of blood on the wall and the bedside lamp appeared to be splattered with pasta sauce.

Stayed here with my daughter while on a trip to Calgary. I was very pleased with the service and the accomodations! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and quiet. Nice continental breakfast! Would definitely stay here again.
For the price of the Hotel room we were very pleased with everything. Front desk personnel were extremely friendly and helpful with recommending a good place for an evening meal.

Room was not ready when we arrived. Also there was noises, possibly water pipes that kept us all night. And also had too many people hanging out in the lobby at all hours
"Noise in the Hotel"
The hotel was clean and neat. The staff were great. The heater in the hotel was very loud when it click on and off. There were strange noise in the wall as if the pipes where creaking. The bed was good except the pillows where very small and hard to use.
