Cheap is what you pay for, cheap is what you get. Although the staff was friendly and everything was for the most part acceptable, it is what it is. Most displeasing with the need of maintenance in our bathroom.

It wasn't so much that It had a strange smell when you walked in , But the idea that there key machine was down and They only had the master key. So anytime you left came back you had to go through front checkin door the manager / owner had to walk you to your room and open the door for you... The rooms needed updated the wall paper coming off in areas. […] The breakfest was just a normal quick bite rolls and such. ANd the owner told me i checked in I could park my car in a certian spot so i would be able to look out the window and keep a eye on it. This was the worst experience I have ever been through. The room was ok but the wallpaper was peeling off the wall and had what looked like water stains on it, I can only assume there is probably mold all over that place. The floor wreaked of smoke. Upon checking out, we left some belongings in the room and went back to retrieve them after we were told […] that they had been found and to our surprise, they couldn't find them and never did find them. I've stayed in a lot of places, even internationally, and I think this was one of the dirtiest hotels I've experienced. The staff were friendly enough, but our floors had obviously not been vacuumed and the deodorant the previous guest had forgotten was still on the vanity. Hotel was inexpensive so we were not expecting much. There was no staff in the office, we had to push and intercome/pager a couple of times before the young girl came to the counter. Worst Super 8 I've ever stayed in and I won't go back. This motel is old and it shows, but unfortunately not until you're checked in. The website lobby photo is accurate and the nicest part of the motel.The wallpaper is peeling, there are plaster/drywall patches on walls and ceilings, the grout in the tub/shower is discolored. I could have dealt with […] those things, but the room was as hot as the outdoors and the beds were terrible. The AC wasn't on at check-in so we cranked it and went out for supper (there is not a restaurant on site). The room was still hot upon our return and the front desk clerk told me the maintenance person was gone for the day (not helpful). To his credit, he did offer to switch rooms and the room was west-facing (which is why the AC shoud have been on before we arrived.) But at the hour and needing to be at the airport early, we were less interested in moving everything and more interested in trying to get some sleep. Mistake! Should have moved--to a different motel. The beds were so bad I probably would have slept better in the car. While they do have wifi, there is no printer and they won't let you access their office printer. Needed to print specialty airport passes that were emailed by the airline after we left home (4 hours away). The only thing "airport" in the name is that it is kinda close. At check-out, the morning desk clerk apologized for everything and pointed out that the motel is scheduled for major renovation in 3 months. Whooppee. Read more

HBO not hooked up, ice machine broken-had to get it at front desk!! Breakfast next to nothing!! Ceiling in bathroom had large crack. Lobby nice but rest needs upkeep badely!!!

I had to go to Wichita unexpectedly. Price was the over-riding factor. For the price I got what I paid for. If you are looking for luxury accommodations, this is not the place. If you just want a room and a good bed, then this is it. I found the staff to be nice people, but often gone from the front desk. The breakfast buffet was good. I like waffles. […] I like apple juice. The cereal selection was small, but good. The Cokes were 75 cents. The TSA took my shaving cream at the airport. The hotel did not have any on hand. The TV was widescreen and the clicker worked well. The hotel is in a good location for dinner. A Golden Corral is a walk away on the other side of the freeway. There were holes in the wall. The phone jack was broken and you had to hold it in if you wanted to use the phone. The painted??? bathtub looked horrible. Refredgerator didn't work, Microswave kept popping the breaker, Iron didn't work, Ice machine was out of order, toilet was not securely fastened to the floor and rocked back and forth. The Hotel Room was very dirty. Many areas of deep dirt that has been there for some time. Mostly in bathroom along the walls boards, but as I looked around, it seemed to be everywhere. I was literally only in the hotel for 7 hours, overnight, on the way to the airport. The hotel was ok. Superfically it was clean but if you looked too closely you would see that the room needed a deep clean. The free airport shuttle was good. I'd stay again if I needed a place to crash for a few hours but I wouldn't stay here for a family vacation.

Hotel was overall in good condition. Staff was very helpful and nice. We needed a place to stay for 1 evening, and it seemed to fit the bill ok. However, checking in took almost 20 minutes due to a problem between booking site and hotel. Room was O.K. but showed signs of use. Bathtub fawcet dripped and required door to be shut to drown out noise at […] night. Cold water knob came off upon trying to shower in morning. Desk attendant was polite and promptly gave us another room key, to a used room whom the occupant had checked out of. I just wanted a shower and ignored the previous users hairs in the tub as I showered. Staff was very nice though, but this is one of the more less well kept Super 8's ive been in Maybe it was just my experience tho. I'd be willing to give them another try someday. Read more
