I had booked my hotel though hotels.com. About an hour before I got to my room, I knew it was not going to be the best room, because of the price I was paying. I had an appointment with in 30 minutes of arriving at the hotel, (this would be why i booked before I arrived....) When I walked into the lobby, the clerk did not acknowledge that I was there; he was on a reservation call, which is understandable. However, he didn’t even look up, he didn’t even say, I’ll be right with you. It took him 10 minutes on the call, with out him acknowledging that I was there, when he got off the phone he started to complain that the person on the phone was “talkative, and don’t they know that he has a job to do.” I gave him my name, license and my credit card. He then told me that I didn’t pay for my room through hotels.com - and that he would have to charge me again, at this point I had been standing in the office for 20 minutes. (And yes, I did pay for the room through hotels.com And yes, I did get charged twice.) My partner had come in, and explained that we were going to be late, he told her, "well you're just going to have to be late…” We were both so very angry…. She was so fuming red she had to go back out to the car. He proceeded to charge me again, now I am paying double the amount for a room, if I wanted to pay that much, I would have gotten a room on the strip! I was angry, but really had to be some where. I had asked for a room down stairs, and he was huffing and puffing about that as well. When I got to my room, I needed to take a quick shower, the tub, was grimmy, and not just dingy grimmy, but the floor of the tub was almost black. The carpet was old, dirty and just gross. Took the quickest shower known to man, with the roughest towels known to man; in the bathroom, there is a tacky little sticker on the mirror that says "all linens are inventoried, and you will be charge appropriately". SERIOUSLY!?!?!?! - Who would steal the sandpaper towels anyway. When w

Do not stay here it is on the "ghetto end of the strip" the description says it is near the stratosphere wich is an exageration its about a 15 to 20 minute walk, not close to the stratosphere. I would not consider this " on the stip" you need to get a cab after partying, esecially in the winter. Heres what you might expect if you actually make it back to the room. hearing people walking above you, hearing water running though the wall, hearing police sirens all throughout the night and believe it or not the occasional train horn. The beds are so hard you may get a bed sore dont xpect a coffee maker or iron eather. In closing dont stay here keep looking

We just needed a place to stay for one night, to get a little rest. Your in Vegas, most of the time your out on the strip, at a casino, at a club. You really just need a place to lay your head down and take some ZZZZZZ.... It was close to the strip. You could take the bus which is $5 for an all day pass that takes you up and down the strip 24hrs. I would recommend for a one night stay, maybe even two.

I went to Las Vegas on short notice during a very busy weekend. The hotel was not quite substandard but close. The TV did't work, the bed frame was broken, the mattress was sagging and it was one of the most uncomfortable nights. The price was five times more than what I would ever expect to pay for a hotel of this quality. Very dissappointed.
