The original room i was given was horrible. Tons of hair on the floor, body hair on a open bar of soap, toilet seat looked as though it had blood on it. The second room was a little better, but the floor wasn't that clean.

You can't beat the price or location of this Red Roof. It was a 10 minute drive to anything you'd want to do in Cleveland, and 30 seconds down the street from Melt. The newly renovated rooms are very nice, and for only $62 a night you get a king suite. Well worth the upgrade.

Management Staff very rude and lies Made and paid for room reservations at hotel while family member in Cleveland Clinic. Family member was discharged from hospital earlier than expected Hotel Management would not refund money for 3 days that I paid for and didn't stay. Was told to bad not their problem.

Checked in late at night and staff was friendly and helpful with directions and suggestions to avoid traffic the following morning. The room I was given was very clean and appeared to be recently renovated. Even the bathroom was new and renovated. Overall great motel for someone looking to stay on a budget.

Got to the Red Roof about 7:30 PM. I was tired, exhausted, and hungry. I had a meeting at 8:00 AM the next morning and just wanted to get into the room and relax. This was the first time I was in a hotel and did not know anything. Cindy told me my room was around the back of the building, but somehow my brain did not remember it. I went into the check-in lobby and there Cindy gave me instructions again. I get to the door and could not figure out how to get into the room, so I asked a gentleman to help me. I came back from eating dinner, and again, could not get into my room. I called my husband and he told me to get a new card. So, back to Cindy I went. Somehow the card got deactivated. This lady was a saint! I think I bugged her 2 more times. She did not get cross with me at anytime. I would recommend this facility to another person. Thanks Cindy!

We were in Cleveland for a show at the q and had to be near Beachwood in the morning. The hotel was nicely located right off the highway, check in/out was really easy, staff friendly, room clean, and discounted price acceptable. I would not have paid full price considering there is no breakfast and you can hear noise from rooms beside and above. Overall quite satisfied for a short stay.

The room was very clean but the first room didn't have any working heat. The staff was so efficient and moved us to a room with nice warm heat. It was one of the coldest nights in Cleveland by the way :( I love the way she made sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Thanks red roof

There was no tv service (an act of God they said) and they refused giving a discount or any type of appeasement in place of the lack of tv service. The smug check-in guy said that I could go ahead and give a bad rating - but nobody would do anything about it....they didn't care. The room was very cold, the floors like walking on ice. There were long hairs in the bathtub and enough hair behind the desk lamp to start a hairbrush!! I will never go back to this place!! I do NOT recommend this Red Roof to anyone!!

It was a decent hotel like that its easy to get to from exit. Room coulda been a little cleaner and definately needs more pillows for king size bed

The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were newly remodeled with new floors, linens, sinks, shower, TV, paint, etc. the room was very clean and we were happy with it. The only problem was their were quit a few loud drunk people in the parking lot until the early morning hours. Wish they would better control their property. Other than that great stay.

This is one of the nicest Red Roofs I've ever stayed in. Very easy to get to, the staff was friendly and helpful, plenty of parking, room was clean and comfortable, only a 15 minute drive to Quicken Loans Arena. We walked to the Winking Lizard for dinner, which is right across the street, but this hotel is close to other great restaurants, too. Will stay here again.

checked in ok went to room toilet leaking all over bathroom floor.Turned on heat and furnace started leaking water all over bedroom area floor.Staff changed your room the bathroom fan sounded like it was ready to burn up.Came back to hotel after visit to Cleveland Clinic beds were made but no clean towels and no toilet paper.No elevator not for disabled people as you must use stairs. Will never stay at this Red Roof Inn again.

The stay was great. The only thing that I dislike was every night my key car did not work so I had to take it to the help desk to get it re-programmed. They told me that the cold weather cause the systems to act crazy. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. The rooms are kind of small but other than that great stay.

This is my third time staying at the Red Roof Inn, Independence, OH and I am amazed of the incompetence of the front desk staff. To start, Scott (? - long hair and goatee) only registered my key card for one day. On Friday after noon, my card failed to work. The room was extremely clean (beyond expectations) thanks to Marin (?). However, there were several tiny red specks next to holes in the fitted sheet that I pray were not blood. Because they were on the other side of the bed, I did not call the front desk. Finally, I decided to extend my stay by one day with a new reservation with Expedia and Rosie at the front desk was not able to override a block on the room I was staying in. She kept saying that the room was available, but would not allow her to override the block. I am disabled and needed the ADA room. She asked if I would be willing to move to another room (after staying in the ADA room for three nights). I told her it would be difficult. Then she said she was able to find a workaround and that I would be ok. I didn't know that the room was mine for sure until I called Kathy the next morning to confirm. I then had to get a new key card. The last time I stayed at this very hotel (April of 2014) I was again frustrated because the computers were down and the staff did not know how to do manual bookings. I was at the front desk for over one hour.

Standard Red Roof Inn. Clean; beds were comfy. We will stay there again. One note: There was insufficient ice melt on the steps and parking lot. Some steps from the parking lot to the sidewalk were a sheet of ice--water dripping from the roof was refreezing on the steps.
